The present study is an attempt to understand the performance of agriculture in Odisha. It estimates the five decades of agriculture from the year 1970-71 to year 2019-20 taking into consideration the long period with 34 major crops produced in Odisha. The cropping pattern of Odisha has changed significantly overtime. The cropping pattern of Odisha shows a shift from predominantly food crops. The growth rate of area during the preceding reform period were remarkable for most of the crops except fibers as compared to the post reform period. The growth rate of yield per hectare during the post reform period were much better for only few crops An important finding of the study is that the growth rate of area, yield and production was extremely low and volatile in Odisha. Thus, the future agricultural strategy for accelerating the growth rate of agricultural development of Odisha should include the expansion through the gross cropped area as well as net shown area, better irrigation facility and capital formation.

Historical interest in dielectric properties of agricultural and Medicinal products and definitions of dielectric terms are presented briefly. The nature of dielectric properties variation with frequency, temperature, and product density is discussed. Techniques for measurement of dielectric properties are briefly reviewed, and graphical data on the dielectric properties of products are presented that illustrate the dependence of these properties on moisture content, frequency, temperature, and density. Models for estimating the dielectric properties of Turmeric as functions of moisture content, frequency, temperature, and bulk density are presented. Finally, applications of the dielectric properties of agricultural, Medicinal and products are described that include microwave - frequency (?f) and, improvement of nutritional and keeping qualities of some products, and controlling insects in grain. Uses of dielectric properties for product quality measurement and the rapid determination of moisture content are described. Principles of moisture determination in single kernels and seeds and in bulk grain by microwave measurements are presented.

One of the most significant and rapidly expanding economic sectors of India's agriculture sector is poultry. Today, chicken output has been steadily rising due to standard agricultural practices and ethical manufacturing practices. In modern world, automation is essential, and the idea of the Internet of Things (IOT) is developing quickly as well. There is a method for transforming manual systems into automated ones. The goal of the article is to automate management tasks on a chicken farm using IoT technologies. Ammonia gas, light, humidity, and temperature are a few environmental elements that affect chicken health. Manual tasks like meal feeding, providing water, & sanitation are also regulated. Production & caliber of chicken rises if all these variables are kept constant. Additionally, it has the ability to record prior data from the poultry farm.

Comparative study of Responses developed in RCC Framed High rise structure having Rectangular and Circular Shape under the effect of seismic load is presented in this paper. As the height of the building gets increases the shape plays a major role in the effect generated by earthquake. As the effect of earthquake over the edifice cannot be covered in the standard codes of practice as the effects depend on many criteria like irregular plans and cross-sectional shapes of high-rise buildings, hence, more research needs to develop in the subjected area. With this objective, our research study focuses presenting comparison of reactions including base shear (FX), maximum bending moment shear force and Deflection of rectangular and circular shaped High-Rise building with composite columns. A Structure prototype of G+29 with 3m floor to floor heights generated for analyses in Bentley STAAD Pro software v8i module to compare responses and analysis of structural system against seismic load.

This paper outlines a number of feminist perspectives and the kinds of questions/approaches they raise about international security. It also examines some of the empirical research conducted by feminists around questions of security, including work that focuses on the impacts of armed conflict on women, the ways in which women are actors during armed conflict, and the gendered associations of war-planning and foreign policy-making. The argument here is that, whichever feminist perspective one adopts, greater attention to gender enriches our understanding and expectations associated with international security.

In the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic with no designated cure or vaccine, the only way to break the infection chain is self-isolation and maintaining the physical distancing. In this article, we present a potential application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare and physical distance monitoring for pandemic situations. The proposed framework consists of three parts: a lightweight and low cost IoT node, a smartphone application (app), and fog-based Machine Learning (ML) tools for data analysis and diagnosis. The IoT node tracks health parameters, including body temperature, cough rate, respiratory rate, and blood oxygen saturation, and then updates the smartphone app to display the user health conditions. The environmental risk conveys from the virtual zone concept and provides updated information for different places. Two scenarios are considered for the communication between the IoT node and fog server, 4G/5G/Wi-Fi, or LoRa, which can be selected based on environmental constraints. The required energy usage and bandwidth (BW) are compared for various event scenarios. The COVID-SAFE framework can assist in minimizing the coronavirus exposure risk.

Resource extension is a natural process. Different regions of the world have access to different renewable and non-renewable natural resources such as forest resources, fertile soil, river water, etc. Often such resources are spread to a large space that can be shared by different communities of a particular region. The present paper is an attempt to unearth the sharing of resources between Seajuli which is a tea estate of North Lakhimpur, Assam located adjacent to the Kakoi Administrative Circle of Papum Pare District, Arunachal Pradesh. From time immemorial the people from both regions are living in harmony despite different socioeconomic backgrounds. The present dwellers of the study area are Apatani, Nyishi, Adivasi, Nepali, Bengali, and Assamese are few in number. In the above-mentioned study area, the people living on either side of the boundary are different in terms of ethnicity, religion, and language. However, they have been staying together peacefully for about several decades, and today they live like a single community sharing natural resources and culture ultimately leading to the path of cultural assimilation which is often undisguisable both in the administrative boundary. Resources sharing is mostly found in the use of rivers, forest raw materials, grazing fields, and other civic amenities such as schools, health services, etc. The geographical profile of Seajuli River is that it is one of the tributaries of the Brahmaputra River flowing from the hill to the plain of Assam passing through two culturally different societies. The river is used by both the plains and the hills for fishing, collection of driftwood for firewood, sand, shingle, and boulders for constructional purposes. Plain people collect minor forest products from Arunachal Pradesh. The foothill being greener, the cattle from Assam are allowed to cross the state boundary for grazing in the morning and driven back in the evening. People of Arunachal Pradesh sell surplus agricultural products in the local mandi located in Assam, especially in the weekly markets. They buy all the readymade items from Assam. Children of Assam also study in the school in Arunachal Pradesh. Same way, some children of Arunachal Pradesh also go to Assam school. For medical and health care purposes, the people of Arunachal Pradesh go to the Assam dispensary. Thus, the Inner Line Permit (ILP) does not strictly apply in these areas because the survivals of both communities depend on peaceful co-existence.
