This study explores the various factors responsible for material cost overrun and the corresponding gap in the estimated and actual material usage. Construction projects in India are often undertaken by Small to Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), and are heavily susceptible to an increase in cost from the estimated value leading to the SMEs not being able to arrange for the required additional funds.

Framed reinforced concrete structures are most commonly types of structures constructed all over the world due to ease of construction and rapid progress of work. Generally, brick or block work masonry is done in these frames which act as an infill panels in the framed structure. Infill walls provide the lateral stiffness to the structure. Its behaviour is very different from the bare frame structure.in this research we are trying to find the structural behaviour of Rcc structure when subjected to lateral loads and applying the bracing with changing the position of infill we observe that the position makes a huge difference in structural behaviour. nowadays typical structures with irregularities in it becomes a trend to change the infill with glass panel. our is to find the location of infill which is good for structure and its stability. Methods adopt here by taking the different type of structure like T-shaped and inverted T-shaped structure and applied different positions of infill to check the effects on structure. The results of this is compared with the bare frame and we observed that the bare frame shows maximum deflection, reduction in stiffness, story drift maximum. Infill in the structure shows comparative stability in the structure. As per our results we can suggest the stable positions of infill our aim is to provide the best possible positions of infill in irregular structure.

Bricks are mostly used in construction throughout the world. Traditional bricks are made up of clay which is treated in high temperature kiln firing. The removal of top layer of the soil and clay from the resources cause soil erosion. The conventional technique of masonry bricks production has caused severe environmental pollution due to the massive emissions of greenhouse gases which lead to several climate changes such as haze, fog, air pollution, acid rain and global warming. Consequently, the main objective of this paper is to study the development of eco-friendly interlocking bricks for masonry applications by incorporating silica fume. Interlocking bricks are the enhanced form of conventional clay bricks. Each brick is constructively designed to lock itself to the other bricks around without the use of mortar. The self-locking is achieved using shear-key and lock mechanism. Based on the design, the shape of shear-key will vary and a complimentary lock is provided on the opposite side of brick. Load transfer is achieved by shear transfer and gravity. Silica fume is a by product of producing silicon metal or ferrosilicon alloys. One of the most beneficial uses for silica fume is in concrete. Because of its chemical and physical properties, it is a very reactive pozzolan. Partial replacement of cement with silica fume in interlocking brick by 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% were used in this study. Compressive and Water absorption test, Block density was conducted to find out the characteristic changes.

Fog Computing is a paradigm that expands Distributed computing (cloud computing) and administrations to the edge of the network. Comparable to Cloud, Fog gives information, process, stockpiling, and application administrations to end-clients. The inspiration of Fog processing lies in an arrangement of genuine situations, like Smart Grid, keen traffic signals in vehicular networks and programming characterized networks. Nowadays usage of cloud computing has increased broadly but there are some issues which have not been solved due to inherent problems of cloud computing like unreliable latency, no mobility support and location awareness. Fog computing is also known as edge computing . This can resolve all those problems by providing elastic resources and services to the end users. This paper discusses the definition of fog computing and its applications in IOT (Internet of Things). It also gives some advantages and challenges of fog computing.

In injection molding cycle, packing phase predominate part quality and responsible for defect free part. The packing pressure, melt temperature, mould temperature, plastic materials, and the configuration of the runner and the gate are all factors that influence the production of components in injection moulding during the packing process. It's very tough only by trial and error to identify them. For packing analysis, Moldex3D is a valuable tool for dealing with this issue. Packing phase comprises different parameters which contribute in packing formation and part quality. These parameter has been studied and analyzed in conventional and conformal cooling channels so the effect of conformal cooling channels on packing parameter can be optimized and analyzed where ever it is needed.

The method of identifying the handwritten text using machine interface is known as handwritten character recognition. Handwritten characters present challenges because they differ from one writer to the other; even though the same author writes the same character, the form, size, and location of the character vary. Handwritten Character Recognition has been one of the challenging areas in the field of image processing. It has numerous applications which include, bank cheques and conversion of any handwritten document into digital text form. There is a prominent need for storing information to desktop storage from the information available in handwritten images to later reprocess this information utilizing computers. But to re-process this information, it would be very difficult to read the other information from these image files. Therefore, a technique to automatically resolve and store information, in particular text, from image files is needed. This paper aims to classify an individual handwritten word so that handwritten text for English alphabets can be translated to a typed or editable form. We used the Convolutional Neural Networks to accomplish this task. We used this architecture to train a model that can accurately predict words. Trends suggest that the market value for such applications is going to increase exponentially in the future.

Abstract: Job opportunity, market orientation, gender, age, culture, Social status, teaching method and technique, are some factors influencing people to learn some specific language other than mother tongue. Sufficient studies have been conducted over English Language learning focusing aforesaid factors. Demeanor and motivation should also be taken into consideration while studying any language learning. The present study attempts to explore demeanor and motivational element in learning English language from secondary school students in block Padder of Kishtwar district. A sample of 180 students was Chosen through random sampling from the population. A modified version of Attitude/Motivation Battery Test (AMBT Likert scale) was used for eliciting information from sample respondents. T-test and percentage techniques were used for analysis data. The interpretation of data revealed that there is highly positive attitude & motivation towards learning English but significant difference was also found between the objectives of secondary course prescribed by JKBOSE to the objectives achieved by Padder Seconderians. The two main problems, first the faulty methods of teaching & second the over dated curriculum, can be associated for non-attainment of prescribed goal.
