Digital images are often used in several domains. Large amount of data is necessary to represent the digital images so the transmission and storage of such images are time- consuming and infeasible. Hence the information in the images is compressed by extracting only the visible elements. Normally the image compression technique can reduce the storage and transmission costs. During image compression, the size of a graphics file is reduced in bytes without disturbing the quality of the image beyond an acceptable level. Several methods such as Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), DWT, etc. are used for compressing the images. But, these methods contain some blocking artifacts. In order to overcome this difficulty and to compress the image efficiently, a combination of DCT and fractal image compression techniques is proposed. DCT is employed to compress the color image while the fractal image compression is employed to evade the repetitive compressions of analogous blocks. Analogous blocks are found by using the Euclidean distance measure. Here, the given image is encoded by means of Huffman encoding technique. The implementation result shows the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in compressing the color image. Also, a comparative analysis is performed to prove that our system is competent to compress the images in terms of Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), Structural Similarity Index (SSIM) and Universal Image Quality Index (UIQI) measurements. We introduce a new way to use fractal coding for image compression, based on the parallel use of a fractal encoder and a DCT encoder. The two encoders are given the complementary roles to capture the information of edge and smooth variation, and the information of detail respectively. We show the advantage of using this hybrid coding scheme over the use of a fractal encoder alone, or a DCT encoder alone. This coding scheme is also the occasion to demonstrate a new concept of coding by nonlinear feature separation based on regular and uniform algorithms, suitable for real-time VLSI implementation

Currently, in most of the educational organizations attendance is being taken using conventional methods which is time consuming and is prone to human errors. These methods include signature of students on paper, calling their names in the classroom. Through these methods it gets really difficult to manage attendance of large number of students. As technology is evolving, new techniques and algorithms have been developed and optimised to improve face recognition and in the field of machine learning. The proposed model, uses these Machine learning techniques to take attendance with minimum human intervention. We are employing Haar cascade classifier with OpenCV to determine the positive and negative characteristics of the face(i.e. face detection) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm for face recognition and classification, all of which are implemented using Python, Tensorflow and OpenCV libraries.

The objective of this study was to demonstrate and evaluate the suspending property of newly isolated and purified EmCell in liquid oral suspensions of paracetamol. Isolation of cellulose from Citrus limetta was done by following the process and modifying it for citrus limetta that is described by Sania Naz et.al[11]. , and then it was characterized by solubility, pH, flow rate and viscosity. The characterized cellulose was then used as a suspending agent for the preparation of suspensions containing paracetamol as a model drug. The prepared formulations were then evaluated for different parameters such as sedimentation volume, redispersibility, flow rate, pH, viscosity, and other physical examination. The isolated cellulose is a polysaccharide with no impurities and nontoxic in nature. It has got enough swellability and good viscosity. The prepared suspensions were evaluated, and the results such as sedimentation volume, redispersibility, flow rate, pH, viscosity, and other physical examination showed its suspending property. The comparative study shows that EmCell showed the suspending ability, various concentration of EmCell is used and the suspension is formulated and evaluated. Thus, by this study, it can be stated that the EmCell possesses all the criteria needed by a standard suspending agent.

Argentina is one of Latin America's largest economies and an important trading partner for the United States, China, and the European Union (EU). The country's economy is driven by the oil and gas industry, boasting significant onshore, offshore and shale oil and gas reserves, alongside its agricultural and livestock industries. Argentina's policies are rooted in Peronist ideologies and the economy has benefitted largely from the abundant natural resources available and has attempted to boost its workforce by tackling the literacy problem. Argentina does suffer from the resource curse as the abundant natural resources may have lulled policy makers into a sense of inaction when it comes to handling its foreign debts and optimally utilising the available production capacity. The main objectives of the paper are to analyse the overt development requirements of the country and outlining the policy support to the development efforts. The research is conducted based on secondary data. Secondary data were collected from the internet, website, articles from different newspapers and scholarly journals, etc.

The biggest challenge for the coming centuries is the generation of power from fossil fuels. Thus, the world has been inclined towards the use of renewable resources. The idea of the generation of electric energy from solar energy using photovoltaic panels has increasing importance. But the frequent change in the positions of the sun with respect to Earth is responsible for the loss of huge amounts of energy. Thus, it is necessary that the panel should continuously track the positions of the sun and thus it gives rise to the idea of sun-tracking solar panel systems. Sun-tracking solar panels will increase the panel's efficiency as it will be able to adjust its orientation with respect to the sun's position. This paper presents the entire process of designing such panels, the working, and other aspects of the system. The tracking system designed using Arduino Nano uses LDR sensors to detect the intensity of sunlight. The servo motor is used for rotating the panel. Thus , once set in the east direction, the single-axis panels change its orientation towards the west direction depending upon the sun's position.
