Most of the articles generally focus on money, being one of the major factors which generally influences one to opt for choosing their job being a sex worker. Sex work is often characterized by images of coercion, poverty, hardship, and powerlessness. There is also another side of the story that is in one of the articles girls between the age of 18-22 described shows that there is no choice for shifting the profession from being a sex worker to another of their choice because of poverty, lack of job options and family responsibilities drove the girls into the job of sex workers. Earning gave them meaning and purpose and the dependency on the family and the need to be self-sufficient forced girls to go for something where they can protect at least their own lives." Protect" works as an irony here as in reality some of them have completely sacrificed their lives as they had no other choice. In this paper, we shall generally focus on the minds of sex workers and how they are depleted daily. This study aimed to investigate the intercorrelation between the sex worker and poverty from a socio-economic perspective basically. The study employed a primary study with quantitative samples. Some of the samples were collected from semi-urban areas and most of them are based on reliable secondary information. The findings suggest that poverty is a significant factor in driving women to enter sex work. The study found that poverty, lack of education, and limited employment opportunities were the main factor driving women to enter sex work. The study also revealed that sex workers faced multiple vulnerabilities, including sexual violence, health risks, and social stigma. These vulnerabilities further perpetuate the cycle of poverty among sex workers. Furthermore, the study showed that sex work is a survival strategy for women living in poverty. However, the income earned from sex work is often unstable and insufficient to meet their basic needs, leading to further financial insecurity. The study recommends the development of policies that address the root cause of poverty, including providing education and employment opportunities for women.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 marks a transformative shift in India's educational landscape, replacing the 1986 policy after over three decades. Emphasizing accessibility, equity, quality, and accountability, the NEP introduces a new 5+3+3+4 structure, promotes early childhood education, mother tongue instruction, vocational training from Grade 6, and holistic learning through flexible subject choices. Higher education reforms aim to increase the Gross Enrolment Ratio to 50% by 2035, foster institutional autonomy, and encourage research via a National Research Foundation. While the policy envisions a more inclusive, skill-based, and globally competitive education system, it faces challenges related to implementation, funding, and potential centralization. Overall, NEP 2020 aspires to position India as a global knowledge hub and nurture future-ready citizens.

India has been exhibiting a rather promising and trend setting growth trajectory for all the nations across the globe over the past few years. The technological and scientific advancements are off the roof and portends a favorable environment for India in all respect. The growth centric plans of the Indian economy are supposedly effective but only for the upper echelons of the nations. Celebrating the achievements also calls for looking at the inadequacies and filling in the gaps. Among the oppressed the women have been the most substantially affected in terms of social and cultural imbalances. There is no denial of the fact that there has been a colossal evolution of the condition of women from what it was 20 or 30 years ago. But this growth has been showing signs of falter since the past few years where the policies have become presumptuous of already attaining its goals of equality and development. The main cause for the dwindling development can be rooted to the patriarchal norms and gender inequalities still existent in the contemporary era of egalitarianism. With much efforts put in to bring women out of the shackles of the household chores and drudgery, the quest to make them independent in all respect is still an ongoing one when it comes to education and employment. Women frequently experience disparity and inequality in workplaces in the form of pay scale differences, delayed promotions, sexual harassments etc. This article is an attempt to critically analyze how male dominance and supremacy has played a crucial role in staggering the growth of women in various spheres of life even with innumerable schemes and policies adopted for their progress

In today's rapidly globalizing world, businesses are facing a myriad of challenges, including mounting environmental degradation, increasing social inequalities, and rising economic disparities. The business models of the past, which prioritized profit maximization and shareholder interests, are increasingly being questioned due to their negative externalities, such as environmental harm, social inequity, and unsustainable growth. In response, an urgent call has emerged for companies to integrate ethical practices and Corporate Social Responsibility into their business strategies, recognizing that profit and purpose can coexist in ways that benefit both business and society. This paper delves into the roles that business ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility play in fostering sustainable and inclusive global growth. By reviewing a wide array of academic literature, international frameworks, and case studies, including the remarkable contributions of the Art of Living Foundation, the paper articulates how businesses can effectively integrate ethical principles and social responsibility to drive positive environmental, social, and economic change. Through this exploration, it becomes evident that embedding ethics into the core of business strategies is not merely an idealistic endeavor or a moral obligation, but a strategic necessity for long-term success and global well-being.

The sale and purchase of goods & services have evolved. The exchange of goods moved from a camel back to mega malls and details have taken over the entire spectrum and mindset of the shopper. Aim of this paper is to understand the complex retail atmospherics that evolved over time and see through the future research areas. Modern retail store formats (hypermarkets, supermarkets, convenience stores) with their self-service nature place a great deal of importance on the retail atmospherics in terms of success or failure (volume of sales). A plethora of researches are conducted worldwide and in India on the retail atmospherics (external, internal, signage, layout, shelf allocation and speed) and its effects on many dependent variables like sales, time spent in store and purchase behavior and there is enough evidence globally to be able to clearly state that the atmosphere has an effect on shopper spending. Our focus area of study is the floor plan and the retail shelf space allocation in particular and despite the depth of this subject, empirical research works in Indian context are just a few. This work intends to find a gap in Indian context through bibliometric analysis and to shed light on the factors related to the retail atmospherics and all the avenues where further researches can be conducted in Indian context especially in focus areas of retail store floor plan, category adjacency, shelf space allocation and Customer's buying pattern or Customer decision tree as the industry terms it.

The ability of a supply chain to withstand and bounce back is what makes it robust. This entails being able to minimize the majority of supply chain interruptions and significantly lessen their effects when they do occur. Numerous supply chain components, as well as business resilience at the end, can be endangered by operational risk and disruption. Global catastrophes, like the COVID-19 pandemic, can have a profound effect on supply chain operations, suppliers, and labor forces. Unexpected competition, abrupt market movements, or even sharp shifts in consumer purchasing habits can all cause additional supply chain disruptions. The Resilient Supply Chain Initiative (RSCI) was established in September 2021 by India, Japan, and Australia to address increasing concerns regarding the excessive reliance on China within global supply chains. This initiative has prompted policymakers and the business community to consider India as a viable alternative for the flow of goods essential to sustaining the global economy. However, realizing this potential will necessitate significant effort. With the help of programs like the National Logistics Policy (NLP) and the Supply Chain Resilience Initiative (SCRI), India is actively attempting to create resilient supply networks. The goal of this concentration is to increase domestic production, lessen dependency on China, and boost trade and economic stability generally. The government is taking a number of actions to lower expenses, boost industry investment, and enhance logistics. India formally became a part of the Supply Chain Resilience Agreement (Pillar-II) in November of 2023. This was done as an important part of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF). This policy consists of 14 other member countries in the same region that are participating. The main of the scheme is to enhance supply chains that are crucial for the national security and economic stability. Further, this paper will help us understand the importance of a resilient supply chain system in India.
