 Abstract

Airport runways are built to exacting, internationallymandated standards. But frequent landing and take-off of flights lead to wear and tear of runways. Natural weather phenomena like rain and sun also affect the runway surface.Re-carpeting is essential for the safety of flights. All re-carpeting activities on runways are likely to lead to flights being rescheduled though they are not always cancelled or disrupted. Airport runways at all times need to be of a specified strength or Load Classification Number (LCN), which is a system of classification of the supporting capacity of pavements without cracking or becoming permanently deformed. Airport pavements are constructed to provide adequate support for the landing. In order to satisfactory, the pavement must be with quality and adequate thickness that it will not fail under the loads. In addition, it must possess sufficient inherent stability to withstand, without damage, the abrasive action of traffic, adverse weather conditions, and other deteriorating influences. To produce such pavements requires a coordination of many factors of design construction, and inspection to assure the best possible combination of available materials and a high standard of workmanship. The paper deals with the various methods involves in strengthening of runway pavement by examining the runway for a variety of issues including whether the aircraft is having a smooth ride as it lands, rubber deposits and removal, raveling observed at touchdown zone and rubber removal area, reflection cracks, patching on runway, pop outs and coarse aggregate loss, alligator cracking, surface irregularities on the line markings, shoving and uneven surface. Software results by considering number of flights along with loading damage ratio is calculated which results in thickness for re-carpeting further this ratio is considered for thickness of pavement if number of flights increase.

 Abstract

Medicinal plants are the local heritage with universal importance. World is gifted with a rich wealth of medicinal plants. Herbs have always been the principal source of medicine in India and presently they are becoming popular throughout the world. Plants have played a significant role in maintaining the quality of human life for thousands of years and served humans as with cosmetics dyes and medicines. Traditional medicine is the oldest method of curing diseases and infection and various plants have been used in different parts of the world to treat human diseases and infection. Medicinal plants are known to owe their curative potentials through certain biologically active substances which exist in different parts of the plants. The major lacuna is the lack of proper identification and information about the medicinal plants. Justicia tranquebariensis belongs to the family Acanthaceae. Mostly the leaves are used for the medical purpose. It is one of the most important herbs being used in Ayurvedic system of medicine. Predominantly, the leaves are used for several medicinal purposes. A wide variety of biologically active constituents such as Phytosterol, Flavonoids, Glycosides, Steroids and Phytosteriods, Coumarins, Cardiac Glycosides, Glycosides, Terpenoids, Carbohydrate, Amino Acids, Gums and Mudilage, Saponins, oil and fats are present in this plant. It exhibits antioxidant, hepatoprotective, antihelmethic, cardioprotective, antiulcerogenic, bronchial asthma, anti-arthritic and antimicrobial activities. This review will focus on the phytochemical constituents isolated from the plants and phytopharmacological properties of different parts of Justicia tranquebariensis.

 Abstract

Data Mining refers to the mining of information from a large amount of data. It is the process of discovering interesting patterns and knowledge from massive data. Clustering analysis is used to find these interesting patterns or to group similar and dissimilar data. This dissimilar data can be called outliers. Outlier detection refers to the problem of finding out the patterns in the massive datasets that do not show the accordance with the generalized expected behavior. Outlier detection and analysis is sometimes known as outlier mining which means the mining of outliers.

 Abstract

The ultimate goal of interfaith education and of peace education is for us to learn new ways of thinking and acting, based on mutual respect and shared responsibility, so that the whole human community can live in peace and can enjoy the fruits of a sustainable and equitable development. Let us come together, let us enjoy together, let there be light, let there be no hatred or poison of misunderstanding (Taitreya Upanishad). This is the key for interfaith harmony and peace, let us all pray and hope.

 Abstract

Conventional traffic optimization solutions expect that the graph structure of street systems is static and missing for further traffic flow optimization. We are interested in optimizing traffic flows as a latest type of graphbased issue, where the graph structure of a street network can adjust to traffic conditions in real time. Specifically, we focus on the dynamic setup of traffic-lane directions, which can offer assistance in adjusting the utilization of traffic paths in opposite directions. The rise of connected autonomous vehicles offers an opportunity to apply this kind of dynamic traffic optimization on a huge scale. The existing procedures for optimizing lane directions are however not appropriate for dynamic traffic situations due to their high computational complexity and the static nature. In this paper, we propose an effective traffic optimization solution, called Coordinated Learning-based Lane Allocation (CLLA), which is appropriate for dynamic setup of path directions. CLLA comprises of a two-layer multi-agent architecture, where the bottom-layer agents use a machine learning technique to discover a appropriate arrangement of lane-directions around street crossing points. The lane-direction changes proposed by the learning agents are at that point coordinated at the next level to diminish the negative impact of the changes on other parts of the street network. Our test results show that CLLA can decrease the average travel time significantly in congested street networks. We accept our method is common enough to be applied on other types of networks as well.

 Abstract

Sasan Ultra Mega Power Plant (SUMPP) is located in Sasan village in Singrauli district and has a production capacity of about 3960 MW. Most of the workers in SUMPP belong to the unorganized sector as Reliance Power gives contracts to other private companies. Organized workers in this company can be seen only in Reliance company with all facilities, job securities etc. While other contractual private companies operate under Reliance Power and follow its guidelines, most of the employees are unorganized i.e. helper, rigger, fitter, supervisor, electrician and site in-charge. Out of 220 sample size only 49 workers unemployed and that is about 22 percentages. The correlation coefficient and correlation critical value have been compared to test the null hypothesis and found that there is positive and healthy correlation between overall unemployment rate and the unemployed migrant workers which is statistically significant which states that there is relation between total unemployment and migrant workers unemployment. In case correlation between overall unemployment rate and the unemployed localized workers which is not statistically significant as its critical value is more than the correlation coefficient which states that there is positive relation between total unemployment and localized workers unemployment but not statistically significant. This study states that there is high impact of COVID 19 Lockdown on migrant workers employment level.

 Abstract

Pesticides are the primary source for the achievement of green revolution. All over world pesticides are widely used to avoid the harmful pests from the crops. Bifethrin 10% EC is the synthetic pyrethroid insecticide which acts on nervous system of the target organisms but unfortunately it can show the effects on non target organisms like insects and other invertebrates including those that constitute the base of aquatic and terrestrial food webs. It enters the human systems through the food chain and shows its effects such as headache, nausea, breathing problems and other nervous disorders. The aim of the present studyis to determine the acute toxicity of the chemical Bifethrin 10% EC a synthetic pyrethroid on the fresh water carp Labeo rohita and also to notice behavioural alterations. In the experimental fish the LC50 values of Bifethrin 10%EC for 96hr was observed as 2.2g/l respectively and the LC50 values were calculated in Finney Probit Method. The effect of Bifethrin on Fish had shown uncontrolled behaviour like schooling, hyper secretion of mucus, decreased agility, increased opercular movements, rapid jerking movements, discoloration of the body, erratic swimming, losing of scales, gasping, lose of equilibrium.

 Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic crisis has altered and curtailed the landscape of education leading to a paradigm shift in the teaching-learning process. In the wake of these upending times, two gulfs have emerged unleashing and deepening the wide gap of social inequity that persists in the field of education. Covid-19 has brought the traditional classroom teaching to a standstill. Hostels/dorms are empty and schools/colleges/universities are closed. With online learning being the only prospect available to impart education in this time, it has become imperative to consider significant questions as to how education should be delivered, the challenges in the way of making it all-inclusive and whether online learning will be part of the full-time learning in the longer run. This paper is an attempt to explore these wide-ranging problems and develop a multilateral approach that is assimilated and collaborative to address the social inequities that affect the landscape of education.

 Abstract

A strong banking sector is important for an economy. One of the most important roles that the banking sector plays is to lead the business. This is generally encouraged as a result of the transfer of funds from the system for production purposes, which also contributes to economic growth. Since everything has its pros and cons, this also applies to major businesses that carry credit risk during the course of a transaction or when the borrower fails to meet its contractual obligation. Bankruptcy in the banking sector will adversely affect another sector. Non-performing assets are a major concern for banks in India. NPAs reflect the performance of banks. The high level of NPAs indicates the high probability of a number of credit defaults affecting the bank's profitability and net worth and undermining the value of the assets. The growth of NPAs includes the need for conditions that reduce overall profits and shareholder value. The problem of non-productive assets has been widely discussed for the economy. The bank becomes a non-performing asset (NPA) when the bank fails to generate normal income such as interest on the loan. In other words, when a bank become an NPA.
