Abstract: Millennium development goals have now been replaced by Sustainable development goals. Some unfinished jobs have been prioritized again within Sustainable development goals in a more holistic way for making a better planet for future generations. It has targeted to achieve access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all and end open defecation, paying special attention to the needs of women and girls and those in vulnerable situations by 2030. UNICEF (2018) estimated that, 1 in 7 people or 946 million people practice open defecation, 9 out of 10 people who practice open defecation live in rural areas and India has the largest number of people still defecating in the open. Now, lack of proper sanitation facility, improper disposal of human excreta, lack of personal hygiene lead to various diseases, increase in morbidity and mortality. Apart from affecting the health of the people poor sanitation creates social as well as economic poverty. Girls and women suffer the most in search of a safe and suitable place for defecation. Increasing dropout of girl student and incident of sexual harassment have become matter of shame for India. From this backdrop this paper tries to represent the status of sanitation of rural Sundarban of West Bengal. Namkhana block of South Twenty Four Parganas district in West Bengal has been selected as the study area and a part of Amarabati village of Namkhana block will represent the profile of individual households in rural Sundarban as a case study.

Indian institution of inequality has been carefully built in the shape of a caste system from ancient times. Traditionally, the Dalits are lower caste people considered untouchable and socially, economically and politically discriminated against. About a sixth of the population in India is made up of Dalits. They are protected by the 1989 'Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes' Act, however due to the occurrence of numerous cases of atrocities, there are in doubt an effective execution of this specific Act. This essay thus tries to explain the process of creating a social environment to avoid atrocities against Dalits with special reference to the Ganda caste. Custodial torture and death in India are widespread and estimates show that during 2016-2018, an average of 1800 persons perished each year in police custody. Failure to adequately raise awareness and educate police officers in the area of human rights, the severe lack of policies and laws to incriminate custodial police officers, prejudices and discrimination along caste, clan and social class lines contribute significantly to the diseased nature of custodial torture. Police torture does not take place in isolation, but because the structural reform has failed to hold government agencies responsible and inform them of their fundamental responsibilities as civil employees. Torture prevention was one of the major advances in the past decade in respect of human rights. The problem has gained significance, given India's significant involvement in seating the Security Council.

Financial Management as the name suggests is management of finance. The objective of Financial Management is to make efficient use of economic resources mainly capital. Financial management at UPCL becomes important to analyse because it receives funds from state government and central government whose mismanagement has large opportunity costs for the people of Uttarakhand. The face value of shares implying that the capital has been eroded due to inefficient financial management at UPCL. This further implies that if the situation remains so, UPCL would face acute shortage of funds (in absence of government grants and subsidies) and would not be able to carry on business in future. Modal value of ranks for Financial Viability of UPCL (on basis of Risk Analysis and Solvency Analysis) is 3 implying poor position of UPCL which is interpreted as poor capital and financial structure of UPCL. Poor financial and capital structure of UPCL further implies poor financial viability of UPCL.

Conventional methods of Maximum Power Point tracking (MPPT) have drawback of having less accuracy and slow response to the output. In this project, a method of Maximum Power Point tracking, MPPT using Fuzzy logic controller for Distribution Grid connected Photovoltaic system has been presented. The system composed of photovoltaic module, buck-boost converter, Fuzzy logic controller and inverter with sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM). The maximum power point tracking control is based on Fuzzy logic to control ON/OFF time of MOSFET switch of buck-boost converter.

The history of migration is old as the origin of human life. Along with the colourful dreams, the struggles and huddles during the period of migration can directly or indirectly affect the self-efficacy and mental health of the children. The purpose of this study was to develop an intervention program for children of migrant workers to strengthen their self-efficacy and promote their mental health as well as to do the pilot test to know its vitality, usability and sustainability. The combination of qualitative and quantitative research designs was having great role in the development of this intervention program. Self-Efficacy Scale (SES) and Mental Health Battery (MH) were used to measure the level of self-efficacy and mental health of the participants. Focused- group discussions were carried out to get a better understanding about the real situation and problems of the children of migrant workers. The intervention program was prepared based on the four dimensions of self-efficacy as well as the culture, life situations and back ground of the respondents. Pilot test of this intervention program was conducted among 65 children of migrant workers. The participants actively participated and positively responded to the program. The result of the pilot test proved the improvement in the level of self-efficacy and mental health of the participants.

Health is the level of functional and metabolic efficiency of a living organism. In humans, it is the ability of individuals or communities to adapt and self-manage when facing physical, mental, or social changes. World Health Organization (WHO) defined" a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity (www. org/wiki/Health). Good health is fundamental to living a productive life, meeting basic needs, and contributing to community life. Good health is an enabling condition for the development of human potential. The health of an individual is strongly influenced by genetic make-up, nutritional status, access to health care, socioeconomic status, relationships with family members, participation in community life, personal habits, and lifestyle choices (www.islandpress.org/iaastd). For every child and young person everywhere, food is life, a fundamental right, and a foundation of healthy nutrition and sound physical and mental development. Nutrition has been a long key to our thought leadership. In 1990, spearheading hunger structure kicked off something new in setting out the different reasons for helpless sustenance. In 2018, the underscore is to what exactly makes great sustenance from the eating regimens of youngsters and women to the consideration they profit by, the food conditions in which they live, and the manners by which our social orders support the privilege to sufficient nourishment through our qualities and political responsibility. At present the people of whole world are in a mood to save the earth which is going to be spoiled soon. Scientists, philosophers, thinkers, Earth scientists are searching into the matter how to save the environment. They feel the tragedy of the earth which is somehow going to be submerged in the waters. To make the common people conscious about this, they feel the literature is the way through which the people of the world can be come to know about it and realized present state of acute situation of the environment. Feminism is a sort of worldwide revolution viewed to strengthen the woman section to realize their best-selves. This revolution at first started in western countries as the woman society was considered to be second sex and they were dominated by the male class. This problem was already existed in the society but no woman raised voice against it for the sake of prestige and self-respect. When this revolution spread to almost all the countries in the world, the woman society become conscious about their rights and to enjoy equal opportunity with man. So the high handedness of the man society caused depression, exploitation to the woman class has come to a form of lawful support to protest all these things. Their existence in the society is supported by the source of Feminism. So it is a revolution that must continue so long as the problems of the woman class exist. Also the problems vary from country to country still the revolution is unique for their all round prosperity and existence. So the revolution is welcome and it is a sort of weapon in the hand of the woman society to feel as safeguard of their lives.
