 Abstract

The present study on Birds diversity in the Ahmednagar district is a done, over a period of four months from May 2021 to August 2021. In this study 27 species of 16 families of birds are observed in an area of 1.121 kmsq. & the study done in different botanical gardens in Ahmednagar district. The botanical gardens in Ahmednagar district are largely spread so there is number of bird species are recorded during this four months period.

 Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019, also known as COVID-19, is caused by a coronavirus that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-COV-2). The global spread of disease caused the COVID-19 pandemic. Variable COVID-19 symptoms include fever, coughing, headaches, tiredness, breathing problems, loss of smell, and loss of taste. The purpose of this article is to review the published literature on the efficacy of these drugs against COVID-19 methods. New treatments are currently being investigated, and the results will be published to provide evidence-based guidance to prescribers and policymakers.

 Abstract

Abstract- There is a significant difference between the pre-test knowledge score and post- test knowledge score regarding the ill- effects of tobacco chewing among secondary school boys in selected school of Moradabad U.P. Result shows that, Out of 60 subjects of a pre-test group, Majority 29(48.33%) had below average knowledge scores followed by good score 17(28.33%) and average knowledge score 13(21.66%) in pre-test. Only 1 scored excellent in the pre-test group. After the STP administration to the group it resulted with majority having good knowledge 38(63.33%), 17(28.33%) had excellent knowledge scores followed by 4(6.6%) with average knowledge and only 1 was below the average. It reveals that the administration of structured teaching program had significantly improved their knowledge score levels.

 Abstract

Background: Hemoglobinopathies are a group of genetic disorders of hemoglobin. They affect 4.5% of the world population.6 Approximately 250 million people constituting 4.5% of the world population carry a potentially pathological hemoglobinopathy gene. The sickle cell anemia and thalassemia are the most severe forms of genetic disorders and hence are of great importance to be dealt with from public health point of view in India. The hemoglobinopathies encompasses all genetic diseases of hemoglobin. Early antenatal detection followed by prenatal testing is the key to prevention of the birth of homozygous children. Antenatal screening is the important step to identify women having the risk of producing a child affected with hemoglobinopathy. Aims and Objectives: The aim of the present study was to estimate the prevalence of sickle cell trait(SCT) and beta thalassemia trait (BTT) amongst the women attending Antenatal Clinics (ANC). Materials and methods: This cross sectional, retrospective study included all pregnant women attending ANC clinics in a tertiary care hospital from 15 January 2021 to 15 august 2021. After obtaining the ethical approval, the demographic data and HPLC(High Performance Liquid Chromatography) results were recorded. The HPLC was performed on BioRad D10 Analyser. Collected data were compiled in Microsoft office Excel sheet and analysed using Epi-info statistical software. Descriptive and analytical statistical methods were used for the preparation of results. Data is presented in tabulated as well as graphical format. Results: Total 6029 patients were screened. Out of this 218 cases were of SCT, 13 cases of SCT+BTT. 160(69%) cases were from age-group of 20-25 years. Total prevalence of SCT was 3.61% and that of cases with SCT+BTT was 0.21%. Conclusion: We found that sickle cell trait is more prevalent than beta thallasemia trait. Early antenatal screening followed by prenatal testing is the most feasible approach for the prevention of the birth of homozygous childen. Public health education programs plays the vital role to raise the awareness.

 Abstract

The main aim of this article is to analysis of attitude of female students towards women education at post graduate level. Stratified random sampling was adopted to select 300 female students of post graduate colleges in Kalaburagi district. Investigator prepared the tool for data collection. This tool contains total 55 Items. The results confirm that there is no significant difference between rural and urban girls rural and urban girls in their attitude towards women education, There is no significant difference between Kannada and English Medium girls in their attitude towards women education is accepted and There is no significant difference between Arts and Science group Girls in their attitude towards women education.
