ABSTRACT Arthritis has a serious impact on peoples life. Its a leading cause of disability in people that affects the lifestyle. Arthritic conditions do not usually cause death, but they affect quality of life of a person and leave them morbid. Arthritis limits the ability of people to work and care for themselves and their families. It costs nearly 86.2 billion annually to the nations economy. To identify the effectiveness of Hot fomentation & Infra-red application on pain among arthralgic patients. The aim of the study is to compare the effectiveness of Hot fomentation and Infrared rays on pain among arthralgic patients. In this study an evaluative and comparative research approach was found to be suitable to evaluate the effectiveness of Hot fomentation Vs Infra-red rays application and the results of the findings are compared to choose the best application. Comparative pre-experimental two group pre-test, post-test design was used to answer the hypothesis. Study was at Ramachandra Hospital, Marthandam, Tamilnadu, India. The data was collected from the physiotherapy department, orthopedic wards and orthopedic inpatient and outpatient departments of the hospitals. The total size of the sample was 50 arthralgic patients with pain. A sample of 25 patients each was selected for Hot fomentation application and Infra-red rays application from Ramachandra Hospital. Convenient sampling technique was used in this study .Level of pain after Hot fomentation (group A) and after Infrared rays (group B) application among arthralgic patients are 6.20 and 4.36 respectively. Thet value obtained for level of pain is 3.07 for group A and group B. This value is significant at 0.05 level. From the mean score it is clear that the patients in group B have an improved level of pain reduction after Infrared rays application scores of than group A.

Absurd play writing came to the fore by retreating conventional play writing with more strenuous efforts. Traditional playwrights were attempted to create photographic representation of the world. The process of writing was interconnected to the intended audience. These writers reciprocated what the spectators were interested about. On the contrary, Absurd playwrights unfolded the true nature of people in the existing world with added chaotic expressions. It attempted to restore the human existential values by shocking him with the hardest realities of the mechanical life after world wars. In opposition to the traditional plays, It was surreal and illogical to the extreme. By shattering the stereotyped and conventionalized writing, the fractured flow of Absurd play writing ought to be more artistry with untold virtuosity. This research paper, by scrutinizing all the optimal artistic features of Absurd play writing, aspired to unwrap its unprecedented form of Creative writing.

This paper attempts to analyze trans-gender discrimination and identity crisis as reflected in the the protagonist,Anjum of Arundathi Roys 2017 novel The Ministry of the Utmost Happiness. Gender identity is the identity of a person caused by the degree of feminine or masculine traits in a person conforming to the stereotypical definition of a male or female expounded by the society. The gender identity of a person is a psychological aspect of a person reflecting his/her sexual orientations. The fiction, The Ministry of Utmost Happiness follows Anjum, a trans-woman, struggling to make a life for herself in Delhi. It possesses the strong voice of the LGBT community in Modern India. Having different historical contexts, this novel is a reflection to various types of discriminations prevalent in the Indian society such as transgender discrimination that is based on gender identity, women discrimination that is based on male domination, Dalit discrimination based on caste system, Muslim minority discrimination based on religious prejudice and national identity crisis based on multi-ethnic alienation that leads to the issue of identity crisis in the dislocated and disoriented people. The victims of discrimination suffer from personality disorder and feel alienated because they are incapable of synchronizing with the biased society and represent the theme of identity crisis. The description about the application of queer theory in the study of personality to the character of Anjum in Pursuit of the true self is articulated. The construction and use of the hijra figure in fictional literature are utilized both as symbols of deviance and central points around which wider anti-sociality circulates. Hijras continue to fight for their rights whilst attempting to survive in an increasingly marginal social position.

With the increasing usage of digital media, the textual content is rapidly increasing over the web in recent years. These textual data possess a rich source of information which is beneficial for many. Tech giant portals like Yelp or Amazon, contains millions of user reviews in textual format which contains valuable reviews against a product or a business. It is nearly inhumane task to manually surf over all these reviews and this is where Text Summarization comes into effect. Text Summarization is a technique to scope larger texts into a short meaningful summary retaining the original intent of the text paragraph. Implementing the Text Summarization methods on user generated reviews can provide a better understanding in much lesser time. In this survey, we are examining different models of text summarization and sentiment analysis on our customer review dataset in order to provide a better methodology for the customers of the review-sites to quickly understand peer opinions and make more informed decisions.

The accurate measurement of the gears plays an important role in measuring and checking the gears. The tools currently in use are either time consuming or expensive. In addition, some measurement methods can not be used and this allows accurate measurements of all gear ratios, but significantly reduces the time. The purpose of this document is to use computer vision technology to develop a non-contact and rapid metering system that allows measurement and control of most gear parameters and accuracy. The vision system is created and used to measure measured or controlled gear wheels. The built-in vision device is calibrated with metrics, then verified by measuring two sample strokes and calculating the comparison of parameters with the actual values of the fishing parameters. For small gears, greater outputs and small problems can be achieved.

Forensic psychology is an emerging field in India is what one usually hears while speaking to professionals who deal with crime in the country. Forensic psychologists make up an integral part of criminal investigation in western countries. Unfortunately, their counterparts in India lack such varied, well-defined roles. Indeed, the countrys criminal investigative and justice systems would benefit from opening up more domains to forensic psychologist. Clinicians and forensic psychologists are two types of psychologists who are often required to appear as witnesses in court proceedings. The clinical psychologists are vital in solving many forensic problems. Psychological assessments, which analyze behavior, personality and psychiatric problems, can offer a pro?le of an assailant to law enforcement officers. This paper extensively speaks about the role of clinical psychologist in forensic settings as it is always been in question.

Ayurveda is the world's oldest medical system. A description of the Sharir Sthan (Anatomy) is found in all Ayurvedic Literatures. The Sushruta Samhita is said to be the best in the Sharir Sthan, where the first description of the dead body preservation method and the cadaveric dissection methods are found in the Sushruta Samhita itself. Within the Sharir Sthan, the concept of Garbhotpatti is described, in this, the fertilization and formation of the Embryo is described in detail. For Garbhotpatti it is very important to have purification of Shukra and Artava. If there is an impurity in them, then those subjects are not capable of production. In this context, there is a further description of the essential factor for conception these are Ritu, Kshetra, Ambu and Bija have been called Garbhotpadak Samagri. Origin of the Garbha is not possible in their absence. Just as seasons, region, water and seeds are necessary for seedling origin in nature, similarly all four are very important for Garbhotpatti. Acharya Sushruta has described a very beautiful description of essential factor for the conception of Garbhotpatti by taking illustrations from nature. In the research paper, an attempt has been made to correlate the concept of Garbhotpadak Samagri according to modern opinion in view of its clinical importance for fertility.

Political and technological control had enabled the west to extend an empire in Africa during the Nineteenth Century. The underdevelopment of Africa can be explained in the terms of the socio-economic-political and cultural processes and their footprints are clear. European builders had adopted different strategies and policies in Africa to make money through exploration, colonisation, commercialisation, robbery, and theft. The poor countries of Africa with the less developed technology are left with the limited possibilities of exploiting the raw material at cheap rates that keep them underdeveloped. Besides this, other contributing factors are colonial legacy, slave trade, wars, poverty, illiteracy, Structural Adjustment Program, large families, corruption and lack of accountability. The Dependency Theory analyses the internal changing scenario of underdevelopment and other various aspects of being dependent. In this, the contribution of Andre Gunder Frank, Wallerstein, Dos Santos, Celso Furtado, and Frantz Fanon is commendable and they all agree to the point that underdevelopment of the Third World countries are directly related to their neo-colonial existence, i.e., external dependence upon the developed countries. Hence, this paper will examine the nature of dependency that leads to underdevelopment of Africa.
