 Abstract

The country is currently undergoing a 40-days national-level lockdown because of the covid-19 outbreak and in this situation this very difficult for the farmers to reach the wholesale market or mandis to sale their produce also the consumers they cannot reach the wholesale market so there is a problem with storage, transportation, risk-management, logistic and many more marketing activities. This has led to some disruption in the supply chains, mostly in selling and buying of commodities specially food commodities. Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has launched 3 new features under the eNAM platform. These new features do not require farmers to physically move to the wholesale market to sell their crop produce, as well as to run agricultural marketing smoothly in this time of epidemic. Features under eNAM provide mobile based payment and contactless remote bidding and it helps improve social distance and safety in the APMCs to fight against covid-19. The main objective of research work is to emphasize the action plan steps taken by the union government to regularize movement of agricultural produce in the time of Covid-19 lockdown in our country. This is review paper and based on the secondary data sources which have been collected from the research papers, latest articles, websites, online news and government reports etc. The study captured step taken by government to expand the digital agriculture market by adding more mandis to clear the blockage under supply chain faced by the wholesale market yard. As of now, 585 mandis are linked to eNAM, with the union government planning to add additional 415 mandis to it, bringing the total number to 1000.

 Abstract

Since the last five decades, India has been grappling with the threat of Naxalism. The Naxal movement in India was founded upon Mao-Tse-Tung's radical philosophy. Its impact is growing steadily through the mobilization of rural India's discouraged, oppressed, vulnerable, and underprivileged people. In India, about 223 districts in 20 states have been affected by Naxal violence. In this movement, more than 20,000 armed cadres are operating. Its primary goals are to challenge the exploitative nature of state machinery and combat the security forces' brutal oppression. In return, the state wishes to re-establish law and order by encountering the Naxalites violently without caring for their human rights. This paper is divided into four parts in this context. The initial segment explores the origin and evolution of Naxalism in India. The next segment is concerned with the sensitivity and strategies of Naxalites. The third section delineates the state's violent suppression to neutralize the Naxal insurgency. And the last section consists of 'Salwa Judum' and violations of human rights in the 'Red Corridor' of India, and it also proposes several remedies.

 Abstract

Water quality of a water body is characterized by its physico-chemical and biological features. All these features reflect on the pristine nature of the river. Due to unplanned urbanization, rapid growth of industrialization and other anthropogenic activities such as dispersal of dead bodies, discharge of industrial and sewage wastes, the quality of a Ganga river body is deteriorated day by day. The present study is an attempt to demonstrate the rate of deterioration of the water quality of river Ganga at Patna, Bihar and its effects on the primary productivity of the river. For this, various physico-chemical and biological parameters i.e pH, DO, BOD, total coliform and faecal coliform, were studied for one year from April 2018 to March 2019 and noticed the changes on these parameters due to urbanization, agricultural runoff and other anthropogenic activities. The result conclude that such as pH, DO and BOD parameters are well within the limit, but total coliform and faecal coliform found beyond the prescribed standard limits in the present investigation hence water quality of this Ganga river water is deteriorated at Patna. Water quality of this river is also not suitable of growth of phytoplanktons, bathing and domestic purpose.

 Abstract

Policy rates are imperative parameters to determine the track of the economy. The fluctuation of policy rates ought to have several consequences on the economy. People in general ponder a lot on the banks rates that they enjoy and end up blaming the central bank for ever declining rate of returns on their hard earned money. What they completely overlook is the inflation factor. This paper talks about the policy rates, effective commercial bank rates and how good or bad it is when the interest earned is lower than they assumed.

 Abstract

The term emotion has been derived from Latin word emovere, which means to move, to excite, to stirrup or to agitate. In Psychology, maturity is the ability to respond to the environment in an appropriate manner and this response is generally learned but not instinctive. Emotional maturity is defined as how well we are able to respond to situations and behave in an adult manner while dealing with others. As the post graduate students are considered as adults and after completion of their course, they may be going for different kinds of jobs or business and hence they will be facing different situations at different times. Therefore it is the responsibility of the teachers to make their students aware of the situations and how to deal with them in a proper way, through providing them proper guidance, so as to make them responsible citizens. Hence an attempt has been made to study the emotional maturity of post graduate students, who are generally considered as adults with some maturity. 100 students studying in 5 different post graduate colleges and affiliated to Rayalaseema University were taken as a sample for the present study. The investigator employed random sampling method for the present study. Emotional Maturity Scale developed by Singh & Bhargava (1998) was used to measure emotional maturity. The data was analyzed by using both descriptive and as well as inferential statistics. Mean, standard deviation and t-test were employed to analyze the data. The findings revealed that there is a significant difference between M.Ed. and non M.Ed. post graduate students in relation to emotional maturity and there is no significant difference in emotional maturity of post graduate students belonging to Kurnool and other districts.

 Abstract

Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.), a rhizomatous herbaceous monocot plant prone to many diseases. Colletotrichum capsici causing severe leaf spot foliar disease cause reduction in yield due to loss of photosynthetic area. Colletotrichum leaf spot was wide spread disease making its appearance in all the localities of Nizamabad district of Telangana. Maximum percent disease incidence was recorded in kondapoor village (52.50%) and the minimum incidence was recorded in Ankapoor (36.36%). Diseased leaf samples were collected for further study to know the efficacy of two botanicals viz, Iron weed & Marijuana at different concentrations (5%, 10%, 15%) on the radial growth of Colletotrichum capsici in PDA medium. The growth of pathogen was recorded at 48hrs and 72hrs after incubation. All the concentrations of two botanicals tested shows significantly reduced the radial growth of pathogen as compared to control. Among the two botanicals highest inhibition was observed with T2-Iron weed at 5% conc. (66.8% at 48hrs & 75.2% at 72hrs) , at 10% conc. (73% at 48hrs & 80.2% at 72hrs ) and at 15% conc. (80.9 at 48hrs & 86.7% at 72hrs) followed by T1-marijuana at 5% conc. (63.3% at 48 hrs & 73.5% at 72hrs), at 10% conc. (67.2% at 48hrs & 77.9% at 72hrs) and at 15% conc. (76.6% at 48hrs & 84.3% at 72hrs) after incubation respectively.

 Abstract

Abstract Background: The objective of the study was to reassess the efficacy of the open onlay technique for repair of incision hernia, utilizing the modern adjuncts of components separation and fibrin sealant to reduce the principal complications of seroma and recurrence. Incisional hernia was defined as <10 cm transverse diameter. Methods: A retrospective audit was applied to 116 patients undergoing open onlay incisional hernia repair during a 2-year period at a single institution. Information was collected concerning operative details, postoperative complications, and recurrence. Clinical review at a median 15.2 months postoperatively was followed in OPD with structured questionnaire to assess quality of life. All patients with pain or suspected recurrence were recalled for examination. Results: Fascial closure required components separation in 21 (18.1%) patients when tension-free fascia reconstruction was not possible, and fibrin sealant was applied in 22 (18.9%) in whom extensive skin flaps were dissected beyond the semilunar line. Postoperatively, there were 11 (9.5%) seromas and 2 (1.7%) deep wound infections. At 15.2 months follow-up there were 4 (3.4%) recurrences. Conclusions Open onlay mesh repair for ventral hernia is a versatile operation applicable to all quadrants of the abdominal wall and gives excellent results when used in association with components separation and fibrin sealant.

 Abstract

Abstract: This present study describes of gastroretentive floating tablet, it was fabricating with different concentration of two polymers of different grades. The formulated tablets were evaluated in different parameters like hardness, friability, weight uniformity, buoyancy, swelling index and dissolution release profile. Oral drug delivery system is the most preferred route of administration for drug delivery. In the development of the drug delivery system many components play important role. Polymers are amongst those components which have evolved with the drug delivery system. Polymers are the macromolecule compound containing many monomer units joined to each other by bonds. The floating drug delivery systems (FDDS) become an additional advantage for drugs that are absorbed primarily in the upper segments of gastrointestinal (GI) tract, i.e., the stomach, duodenum and jejunum. The purpose of writing this review on floating drug delivery systems (FDDS) was to focus on the types of floating drug delivery systems, principal and mechanism of floatation to achieve gastric retention and polymers used in floating Drug delivery systems. Polymers used in the drug delivery system are of two types Natural and Synthetic based on their origin. Both types of the polymers have some advantages and disadvantages. This particular article gives information about the different types of natural and synthetic polymer used in the drug delivery system. Natural polymers like guar gum, chitosan, xanthan gum, Gellan gum and sodium alginate are mentioned in the article. Synthetic polymers mentioned are HPMC, Eudragit, and Ethyl cellulose.

The purpose of this project is to design and develop a device that can make useful energy from noise known as noise pollution based power bank with suitable architectural design, component design, code generation, and integration system. The researcher chooses design science research methods and V Model procedure to make sure of the efficiency of the device. Noise Pollution Based Power Bank was tested in different noisy areas. The device had been tested in various places to prove capability to work in a variety of noisy environment. The efficiency of the device in terms of charging the power bank utilizing noise is proven effective especially in loud/noisy places that make the power bank charged the battery continuously. Comparing to commercial power banks, noise pollution based power bank produced a parallel result. Charging is also performed with different gadgets that are most likely use power bank and found effective and efficient. With the future modification of the noise pollution based power bank, it is possible to make this device a basis of imminent technologies that will make a way of recycling noise pollution to be a secondary source of establishing a wide scale electricity source.

 Abstract

Stress is a feeling of physical or emotional tension. It can be separated into two main types which are acute stress and chronic stress. Acute stress is short-term stress that is temporarily, happens during your day. It comes and goes quickly, for instance, an argument with your friends, criticism from your boss or a regular traffic jam. On the other hand, chronic stress is far worse because this type of stress developed from bigger problems, for example, money problems, unhappy marriage or trouble at work. It also last longer than acute stress and a thing about this type of stress is the person who suffer from it might not know that they are suffering.  Abstract

There were many celebrated writers in English Romantic period, one of them was Percy Bysshe Shelley. As a poet, Shelley also challenges the orthodox community establishment such as church and government. His defiance is based on the reasons about humanity and his aspiration to build the new happy community, free from despotism, and full of solidarity so that the laws and conventional institutions are no longer necessary. He tried to persuade people through logic and emotion. His resolves are expressed in his poems, one of them is Ode to the West Wind. This paper highlights the reasonable measures of Shelleys effort of setting peoples mind at rest.
