 Abstract

There are various historical narratives about South Asia as a region. The economy and agriculture of many countries of the South Asian region are mainly depended on the monsoon. The use of the monsoon wind in the Indian Ocean for maritime trade help the sailors to reach overseas territory. The presence of highlands like Himalayas across the path of the monsoon winds. This mountain range plays a significant role as an orographic barrier for the monsoon throughout the region. This paper is an attempt to reveals how the Himalayas and Monsoons have defined South Asian maritime trade and see its functional aspect. This paper also tries to find out the continuity of knowledge over different periods and focus on the structural and functional aspects of the physical structures.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT The role of magazines is important in the history of Assamese literature. It may be recalled that the era of Assamese literature has also been created in the name of magazine. For example, the Arunodai era, the Jonaki era, the Ramdhenu era are notable. In 1909, 'Bahi' magazine was published under the edit of Laxminath Bezbaruah. This magazine has contributed to all aspects of literature and played an important role in the direction of Assamese language. The magazine published various articles on assamese language letter combination, script, grammar, dictionary, determining the individuality of Assamese language etc.

 Abstract

Objective: This study was conducted to develop a validated liquid chromatographic method for the simultaneous determination of atazanavir and ritonavir in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage form. Method: The method employed RP-Purosnosphere C18 column as the stationary phase while acetonitrile:water (80:20) pH adjusted to 3.0 was used as mobile phase and 273 nm has been selected as detection wavelength for HPLC method. Results: The method showed good sensitivity within linearity range of atazanavir and ritonavir with correlation coefficients of 0.9998 and 0.999 respectively observed at 273 nm wavelength. Best resolution was obtained with mean retention time of 2.95 and 6.86 minute respectively for atazanavir and ritonavir at flow rate of 1.0 ml per minute. Mean percent recovery of samples at each level for drugs were found in the range of 99.77% to 100% with RSD of less than 2.0%. Conclusion: The method was validated according to the guidelines of International Conference on Harmonization and was successfully employed in the estimation of commercial formulation.

 Abstract

This paper aims to explore the brand switching of bath soap one brand to other brands made by the purchasers especially G.M university students. Subsequently, analysed the various considerations of G.M university students while choosing and deciding to switch to another brands. The study also explains the market share of bath soap brands in present and future and descriptive analysis by presenting the result of information from G.M University as consumers of various brands of bath soap. All the calculations done by primary data and using this data probability matrix has been designed.

 Abstract

I EFFECTIVENESS OF STRENGTHNING OF CHIEF PELVIC STABILIZER ON PAIN AND DISABILITY IN CHRONIC OSTEOARTHRITIS KNEE Dr.Tanvi Banker (1), Assistant Professor at SPB Physiotherapy College, Surat-(Gujarat), India. Dr.Dibyendunarayan Dhrubaprasad Bid (2) Senior Lecturer,Sarvajanik College of Physiotherapy, Surat-(Gujarat),India. ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: Osteoarthritis knee is the most common degenerative condition affecting the age greater than 40 years leading to pain, functional disability and muscle weakness. Physiotherapists have been exploring different forms of exercise intervention, like conventional exercise, resisted exercise, aerobic exercise etc. Despite the number of studies showing evidence on particular intervention towards outcome measure, evidences are still needed for proving usefulness chief pelvic stabilizer i.e. hip abductor muscle strengthening as a treatment for of OA knee patients. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy of chief pelvic stabilizer i.e. hip abductor muscle strengthening exercises in patient with OA knee. INTERVENTION: 58 individuals with OA knee were included and allocated to two groups (n=29 in each group). Groups were administrated with hip abductor strengthening exercises along with Conventional therapy and Conventional therapy alone for 4 weeks (5 days per week). WOMAC, NPRS, TUG test were used to assess changes between baseline and post intervention. II RESULTS: The experimental group (Group A) was associated with significant greater change in WOMAC test compare to control group (Group B). In NPRS score, change was statistically significant in experimental group but clinical significance was equal in both the groups. CONCLUSION: Strengthening of pelvic stabilizer reduces the disability in OA knee,So it has additional beneficial effect in comparison to control group specific over Disability in OA knee. But it has no additional beneficial effect in comparison to control group specific over pain intensity in OA knee. KEYWORDS: OA Knee, hip abductor strengthening, conventional exercises, WOMAC, NPRS.

 Abstract

This Paper discusses the two main sense relations in Semantics, i.e., Synonymy and Antonymy in A?we (Garo). A?we is the standard variety spoken among the Garos of Garo Hills, Meghalaya, India. This variety is spoken mainly in the North Garo hills and the dictionary and various written texts is written based on this variety. However, all the written texts and the medium based on which Garo is taught in schools is based on this variety which is widely used for Education besides English which is the medium of instruction of most schools in Garo hills. This paper describes examples based on few semantic domains such as kinship terms, earth, household items, etc., and the relationship between these two sense relations, i.e., Synonymy and Antonymy in A?we (Garo).

 Abstract

Abstract: Pedapadu is a Mandal in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh State, India. Pedapadu Mandal Head Quarters is Pedapadu town . It belongs to Andhra region ..Agriculture is the main stay of population in the district. The district is having both surface and ground water resource potential. The delta area is mainly served by surface irrigation, whereas in the upland areas of the district the irrigation is chiefly by ground water. Physio graphically the district is divided into 2 natural regions. viz., Alluvial plain and upland areas.The different type of soils encountered in the district are red soils, black cotton soils, deltaic alluvial soils and coastal sands. In general, the ground water is suitable for drinking and irrigation purposes in crystallines, sedimentaries while that occurring in alluvium the water is not suitable for drinking purpose and irrigation purpose under ordinary conditions. Water pollution is one of the major and most critical issues in India, as almost 70 per cent of the surface water resources and various groundwater reserves are contaminated by biological, toxic, organic and inorganic pollutants. Deep tube wells, hand pumps and private bore wells are the main sources for extraction of groundwater in the Pedapadu mandal to cater the water demand of the population. It is in this context, the ground water quality is determined in Pedapadu mandal in the upland area of the West Godavari dt. In Physico-chemical analysis , various quality parameter are measured including pH, turbidity, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), total hardness(TH),content of calcium (Ca2+),magnesium (Mg2+), chloride(Cl-), sulphate (S0 2-), Iron (Fe), DO, BOD, COD, Total alkalinity (TA) and Nitrate (NO 2-) concentration present in ground water. Also all parameters were compared with ICMR standards of water quality. In the present research paper water samples of Pedapadu mandal was classified on the basis of TDS and TH.

 Abstract

With the new policy of liberalization, globalization and privatization, the Indian economy has witnessed drastic changes since mid-1991. India has enormous trade potential, the concepts of entrepreneurship and skills are interrelated. Skills are essential, but not sufficient to obtain decent work. Increasing productivity through skills development must be complemented by economic growth and employment. Overall, they are a prerequisite for the government to pursue nationwide development on women entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is traditionally defined as the process of planning, launching, and managing a new business, which typically begins as a small business, such as a startup offering a product, process, or service for sale or for rent. Entrepreneurship development is the process of improving the skills and knowledge of entrepreneurs and building their capacity to develop, manage and organize marketing taking into account the associated risks. Entrepreneurship is central to the overall development of any nation and in recent years has gained prominence with the participation of women. Women today are more progressive and play an important role in meeting their economic needs and gaining social status. Women entrepreneurs in society mainly depend on the change of social, psychological, economic and cultural dimensions, which have a positive impact on the economic participation of developed and developing countries. In India, women play an important role in society, but their entrepreneurial potential is not recognized due to the low level of female presence in society. It is necessary to modify the mentality of women to give equal problems as defined in the Constitution. There are now various factors that motivate women to enter the field of entrepreneurship, these factors include education, the desire to be independent, the desire to earn money and make a mark in the society.

 Abstract

The work presented in this paper determines the forecast of the cultivation of Sugarcane which is the major cash crop of Tamil Nadu. This paper work demonstrates how the data for last decades could be used to predict future demand to cultivate the sugarcane. The best fitted model corresponds to the ARIMA(Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average) with seasonal effect. The major problem of sugarcane in Tamil Nadu is based on monsoon and water supply. This study analyses the production and reasons for the changes in cultivation of sugarcane.The performance is evaluated by the statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) These results will predict the area to be cultivated for the sugarcane the next ten decades with the best fit for ARIMA Methods.
