ABSTRACT: Stock market anomalies can be broadly categorized as calendar, fundamental and technical anomalies. Calendar anomalies however are among the most discussed issues in the financial literature. This is because these anomalies are the primary contributors to the abnormalities in the stock returns. Calendar anomalies are defined as an irregular pattern of stock returns that are based on a calendar year. This paper attempts to determine the existence of calendar anomalies, namely, the Day of the week effect, Turn of the month effect, and Month of the year effect in the Indian stock market. Daily data of Sensex and Nifty from 1993 through 2013 are analysed using different statistical techniques. The tests indicate an absence of a significant day of the week effect and month of the year effect, while a significant turn of the month effect is observed. There are multiple hypotheses associated with anomalies, but only the turn of the month stands valid for the Indian context.

To deal with the uncertainties, the recently known and developed topic was fuzzy soft set. Fuzzy soft set structures are very useful in many areas of applied mathematics and computer science. In this paper, we introduce a new operation of Hadamard product on fuzzy soft matrix. To evaluate the efficiency of these new proposed product of fuzzy soft matrix, a fuzzy soft matrix cryptosystem has been explained. Nowadays our life is not possible without social media because we are connected everywhere and share anything through online but the problem is security. In this application part we have introduced a strong security system to share the message. A new fuzzy soft encryption and decryption is introduced.

 Abstract

Human activity detection is basic requirements especially within smart environments like smart homes. The primary requirement of smart environment is energy conservation. To achieve this, first target to detect the human activities accurately using neural network-based approach. This paper presents a unique combination of CNN with pruning and edge detection mechanism to accurately detect human activities. The entire process of human activity detection is portioned into set of phases. In the first phase, data acquisition is performed. The CNN with pruning and edge detection utilised KDH dataset derived from Kaggle. In the second phase, pre-processing to eliminate the noise from the image frames. In the third phase, edge detection and feature extraction were ensured. In the last phase classification is performed. The result of the human activity detection mechanism is expressed in the form of classification accuracy. High classification accuracy of over 95% was observed.

In this paper, we introduce a new class of sets called gN*-closed, ?gN*closed sets and its properties are studied and we introduce a new concept of quasi-normal spaces called quasi N*-normal spaces by using N*-open sets due to G. Navalagi [6] in topological spaces and obtained several properties of such a space. Further we obtain a characterization and preservation theorems for quasi N*-normal spaces and by using N*-open sets.

ABSTRACT Historically, human settlements followed land terraces and banks close to watercourses, but avoided main riverbeds because of flood risks. Especially during recent decades, enlarging human settlements like cities broke this habit and extended themselves within riverbeds, with the help of grand works of river regularization. In the same period, intense local and regional deforestation changed the flow regimes of large river basins, in the sense that rivers increased basic and flood volumes of waters. By the time human settlements and agglomerations already went a long way in incorporating riverbeds, changes in hydrological regimes determined that river systems found their old natural course and flooded the primary river beds. Of all natural disasters, floods and Cyclones are the most devastating in Tamil Nadu. They often involve loss of human life and extensive material damage. In Guwahati, this article made a modest attempt to examine customer perceptions of organic products and marketing. The findings revealed that the majority of consumers, particularly in metropolitan areas, choose organic food products. Since organic product marketing is so poor in the studied area, demand for organic products is increasing but supply is quite low. The main causes include a lack of organic producers, a lack of suitable market facilities, a lack of outlets, a lack of awareness, and so on. As a result, if farmers and the government are interested in organic farming, it would be much easier to improve the marketing system for organic food items in Guwahati city.
