 Abstract

A decomposition of a graph G is a collection ? of edge-disjoint subgraphs H1, H2, , Hr of G such that every edge of G belongs to exactly one Hi . If each Hi is a path or a cycle in G, then ? is called a path decomposition of G. If each Hi is a path in G, then ? is called an acyclic path decomposition of G. The minimum cardinality of a path decomposition (acyclic path decomposition) of G is called the path decomposition number (acyclic path decomposition number) of G and is denoted by ?a(G). In this paper we investigate some proper acyclic path decomposition number and induced path decomposition number of special types of graphs.

 Abstract

Objective: Quality of life issues have become increasingly important as the number of newly diagnosed patients with cancer increases and survival improves. Brest cancer is the most common type of invasive cancer in Women. The authors carried out a study on 50 newly diagnosed cancer patients with the objective of investigating the changes in anemia profile and how to protect from future risk. Materials and Methods: we conducted a case control study at oncology department of geetanjali medical college and hospital, Udaipur during the period from April, 2016 to February, 2017 and it included a total of 50 newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and 50 healthy controls. Anemia profile (iron, ferritin, TIBC, vitamin B-12) done by cobas-6000 fully automated analyzer. Results: The mean serum level of iron (66.46 3.97), ferritin (37.04 7.43), TIBC.(323.56 26.04) is higher than the control group (29.35 1.48), (23.05 2.55),(219.28 21.93) respectively. The mean vitamin B-12 level in cases (183.64 29.38) is lower than the controls (183.64 29.38). Conclusions: Our study indicates the significant changes in serum vit- B12, ferritin and iron and TIBC in newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. A significant changes in these parameters will be suggested for further risk of breast cancer in women, so its necessary to aware women for the same, so in future can improve their survival.

 Abstract

The population of young people is growing faster in India and the problem of Juvenile delinquency is more acute in society. A child does not just go badly and suddenly without cause. It is a long term process starting from early childhood. Delinquency is a social and psychological problem. The major psycho-social factors are a) Family background, b) Relations in family, c) Intelligence, d) Personality pattern, e) Urban-Rural setting, f) Perceptual pattern, g) Sex differences, h) Effect of mass media, i) Mode of Socializations, j) Psychopathy, k) Working mothers, l) Socio-Cultural impacts, m) Emotional Stability, n) Interpersonal relations and o) Social networking sites and mobiles. The development and growth of adolescents are pivotal for the development of the society and nation at large. To enhance the well-being of the adolescents, intervention strategies are need of the hour. Some vital intervention strategies are 1) Family oriented Interventions, 2) School-based intervention strategies and 3) through NGOs. At present, adolescence needs guidance from the family and community in all aspects. The school environment should also be supportive, non- threatening and safe. Effective acts, policies and programs are very crucial for the development of the youths.

 Abstract

Abstract India is the first country in the world to adopt Family Planning Programme, soon after independence, more than seven decades have been passed since then and the problem of population is still unresolved. Looking at family planning in isolation will be erroneous from analytical point of view. Hence in the following study, an attempt has been made to discuss about a theoretical and conceptual framework which would help in better understanding of the concept, sociologically. The role of gynecologists, role of husband, power relations and womens autonomy to decide for her body has been analyzed in detail this study.

 Abstract

LPG gas is one of the household things in daily life. But LPG gas is highly flammable. There have been many accidents due to leakage of LPG gas. The trigger varies from the incorrect installation to the use of defective gas cylinders. This paper aims to provide a solution to this problem by building a device that utilizing sensors connected to Node MCU. The device performs area monitoring continuously. The gas sensor provides data to Node MCU, and then the results are displayed as a warning to the user via an Android-based smart-phone device. Other than LPG gas, Air conditioner and refrigerator leaked gases also harmful in home. Using this device, users will be able to prevent accidents that occur due to harmful gas leaks so that accidents can be avoided.

 Abstract

The wastewater generated from textile industries of Solapur city is studied for its characterization. Wastewater of textile industry was found to contain a high degree of pollutants with high TDS and suspended solids. The wastewater is highly colored and viscous due to dyestuff and suspended solids respectively. Chloride, sulphate, nitrate, Sodium salts of these anions are most commonly used in the process. In heavy metal chromium is in higher concentration while other heavy metals iron, zinc, lead, copper and manganese are also present. The waste water also has high BOD and COD indication its polluting nature. This review collects the general information relating to textile wastewater constituents and organizes it to help researchers who are required to prepare useable water in construction industry. These ingredients are also evaluated based on the typical characteristics of textile wastewater, and special constituents to simulate these characteristics are recommended. The processes carried out during textile manufacturing and the chemicals corresponding to each process are also discussed

 Abstract

The school is a powerful agency in the development of behaviour of the child. It is a miniature of society in which children live, make interactions, get all round development, get socialized and perform mostly function under the supervision of their teachers or instructors. The school is a formal socializing institution which differs from the family. The development of child is influenced by various factors of school like physical development, moral development, emotional development, intelligence level, environment, population, socio economic condition, nutrition, age, type of schools, language, customs, beliefs, rituals, caste, religion, colour and most importantly its social culture & festivals. The present study was undertaken to study the academic stress and academic achievement of government and private secondary school students. The sample of the study comprised of 300 (150 from government and 150 from private) secondary school students which were selected randomly from 12 schools of district Patna, Bihar. For Academic stress, Statements was used and For Academic Achievement, aggregate percentage of marks obtained in previous examination was used for data collection. Results revealed that private secondary school students differ significantly on Acceptance dimension of academic achievement while as on composite score both government and private secondary school students differ significantly. Further, private secondary school students showed secondary academic performance rather than government school students.

 Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a fast evolving paradigm where remotely identifiable physical objects form an active network, and are able to operate independently without external control. With these smart devices automatically connecting to each other and exchanging private and sensitive data, the potential for malicious attacks greatly increases. As a result, it is widely accepted that the most challenging aspect of IoT will be to ensure security and privacy. This paper proposes an important cryptographic primitive i.e. transition controlled random number generator, that shares overlapping properties and often have structural similarities with PUFs. The integrity of any secure system depends largely on the proper functioning of these units. True Random numbers are needed for encryption keys, nonces, padding bits and many more applications. Software approaches to generate random numbers, called Pseudo Random Number Generators (PRNG) are widely adopted and are suitable for most applications. However, they are susceptible to attacks as their outputs are deterministic functions of the seed, which carries all its entropy. Therefore, hardware-based mechanism to extract randomness from physical phenomena is required for cryptographic applications. As data privacy is one of the key requirements of IoT framework, it can benefit from high entropy TRNGs generating secure keys.

 Abstract

Abstract: The age old adage of delivering the right product in the right quantity with right cost to the right place at the right time of supply chain management perspectives is being increasingly challenged in todays world with the variability, com-plexity, market turbulence & the dynamic turmoil and chaos induced by un-predictable events like Covid -19 pandemic. There is no doubt that the traditional supply chain is changing from a rigid, linear flow to a rather flexible, agile value net-work designed to deliver instant choice, along with hyperpersonalization across a variety of fulfillment channels and an expanding range of digital enablers. The strategic choices made of fast, scalable, intelligent and cross knitted strategic threads enabling sustainable growth and value perspectives are required to solve current challenges and prepare for rapid and responsive consumer-driven supply chains in future. Shifting from a traditional supply chain to a new supply network matrix creates room for growth, optimizes operations and improves service while reducing costs and working capital for businesses. This new paradigm shift in the supply chain introduces greater levels of complexity as organizations has to manage the flow of materials, products, and data between and amongst a growing number of ecosystem partners, all of which must be coordinated to maintain stability in the network. Supply chain capabilities are demanded by business needs arising from unprecedented situations, and they should be able to meet shorter planning cycles and have an inbuilt ability to respond more quickly to changing demand and supply dy-namics. For this to happen, a successful supply network has to leverage data-driven intelligent automation sciences & ap-plications like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to enable ongoing planning capabilities and auto-mated responses to meet unchartered undetermined scenarios. This requires system training to be embedded in supply chains networks to distinguish between inconsequential shifts and situations that require pre-planning. The challenges and perspectives in the chaos induced by unpredictable business changes by the pandemic and plausible supply chain man-agement solutions constitute the preamble of this paper and a P5R5 Risk Management Model is postulated.

 Abstract

Financial statement analysis is the process of evaluating businesses, projects, budgets, and other finance-related transactions to determine their performance and suitability. Typically, financial analysis is used to analyze whether a unit is stable, solvent, liquid, or profitable enough to warrant a monetary investment. Preparation of the final accounts is not the end of the accounting process. It is followed by the analysis of these final accounts. The process of reviewing and analyzing a companys financial statements to make better economic decisions is called analysis of financial statements. In other words, the process of determining financial strengths and weaknesses of the entity by establishing the strategic relationship between the items of the balance sheet, profit and loss account, and other financial statements. The most common form of financial statement analysis is Ratio Analysis. Ratio analysis compares different financial statements of accounts. There are different types of ratios that we can use for the analysis of financial statements such as Liquidity Ratios, Profitability Ratios, Solvency Ratios, Turnover Ratios and Earning Ratios. Financial statement analysis is used by all investors and creditors to help assess the performance of a company and predict future performance for base financial decisions. The primary purpose of financial statement analysis is to understand and diagnose the information contained in the financial statement, in order to assess the profitability and financial soundness of the firm, and to make predictions about the future prospects of the firm. The purpose of the analysis depends on the person interested in such analysis and its object. The main objective of financial statement analysis is to provide information about a business enterprise to the decision makers so that they can use this information in decision-making. Users of financial statement information are the decision-makers who can either be internal or external concerned with evaluating the economic situation of the firm and predicting its future actions. This paper analyzes information and guidelines regarding various accounting ratios of SAIL-Steel Authority of India Limited.

 Abstract

Abstract: Traditional games are the games and movements that are traditional to our cultures and societies. They exist in every society and people used to play those games from generation to generation for centuries. Traditional games imbibed cultural meanings and significance within them in each society. Like any other folklore traditions i.e. songs, dances, tales, folk games are also a part of such folk lore traditions. Traditional games are not just games they were designed in such a way that one can develop lot of skills like logical thinking, building strategies, concentration, basic mathematics, aiming, physical fitness and lot more. Traditional games act as learning aids. Like all other communities and tribes, Karbis has a great tradition of folk games which not only for children but also for the adults too. But due to the advancement of technologies and video games these folk games are in verge of extinction. So, in this paper an attempt will be made to explore different types of traditional games of the Karbis and their procedures. It will try to study its cultural importance to the Karbi society.

 Abstract

Over a period of time histopathological approaches in study of disorder or drug interaction has been reported to face applicable conclusion i.e limitations involving assumptions. Stereology is an optimal tool for quantitative assessment of mass or tissue morphology. Malaria constitute of the devastating pandemics of African countries and the world at large where the risk group are mostly pregnant women and children under five years thus this was conducted as curative study to investigate the histological changes of ELVA in cerebral cortex of young mice inoculated with Plasmodium berghei (Pb) NK- 65 strain using some stereological tools. Twenty-five (25) young mice, mixed sex, aged 2-3 weeks, weighing between 5-7g, were acquired from the Animal Facility, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria and divided into group of five with five mice per group. Group 1 was administered distilled water, Group 2 was inoculated with P. berghei parasite, Group 3 (Pb + ELVA 250mg/kg), Group 4 (Pb + ELVA 125mg/kg) and Group 5 Pb + 10mg/kg of Chloroquine. Parasitemia level was examined 48 hours and followed by appropriate design protocol. 72 hours (D2) after innoculation parasite quantification was carried follow by treatment which lasted five days (D4). On the 7th day animals were sacrificed, brain tissues removed and fixed in Bouins fluid, processed for histopathology observation using Haematoxyline and Eosin (H and E), and Cresyl Echt Violet stains. Stereological estimation includes neuronal count and volume estimate using physical fractionator and cavalier principle. Results shows that ELVA is dose dependent on the parasite quantification. We observed histo-pathological changes in treated group in a dose related pattern, obtained estimates of affected cell numbers, volume and correlate the relationship with observable indicators. The affected cells justify the potency of the extract and highlight the recovery stage of the treated group which could be a measure for the integrity of the cell. In conclusion Stereological tool has shown some level of proficiency in drawing a correlation between the variables and minimize assumptions in estimating level of disorder or interactions.

 Abstract

Some lanthanum (III) dithiocarbamates of the bipyridyl adducts LaL3. (bipy) Where L dimethyldithiocarbamate (Me2DTC), piperidine dithiocarbamate (PipDTC), morpholine dithiocarbamate (MorphDTC) (bipy 2,2 bipyridyl) have been synthezied and charecterized by elemental analysis and various physico chemical technique. Molar conductance measurements show the non ionic behaviour of the complexes. Thermo gravimetric analysis of the complexes starts to decompose on further heating to a mass of lanthanum sulfide (La2S3). Infrared spectra suggest mono anionic bidentate mode of bonding of the ligands.
