Road accidents are one of the most relevant causes of injuries and death. This is also one of the serious issues, which can possibly cause disabilities, injuries and even fatalities. There are many of reasons that contribute to accidents. Some of them are internal to the driver but many are external. For example, adverse weather conditions like rain, cloudy, and fog cause partial visibility and it may become difficult as well as risky to drive on such roads. This paper aims to provide an Overview of the area of the art in the prediction of road accidents through clustering techniques and machine learning algorithms.

Abstract: The present study was conducted to investigate the histological structures of the gill and liver of fresh water fish Cirrhina mrigala after long exposure (30 days) in sodium fluoride (46.75ppm). Several histological alternations were obtained in the selected tissues such as in the gills, the pathological alterations included proliferative, degenerative and necrotic changes in the epithelium of gill filament and secondary lamellae, edema in secondary lamellae, dilation and congestion in blood vessel of gill filaments and mucus cells proliferation. The liver showed vacuolar degeneration in the hepatocytes, focal areas of necrosis and fibrosis, aggregations of inflammatory cells between the hepatocytes, dilation and congestion in blood sinusoids and thrombosis formation in the central veins.

HRMS being the part of ERP, it totally reliable on management of HR software, which is completely united with HR business process which gives the Human Resource department employees to perform routine operation, some of which include employee personal information management, earning management, absentee management and evaluation of performance. All the features may be available in the primary HRMS or has to be added as a software module. In most of the organization, it is united with various different systems including accounts, administration, attendance, etc. The system when implemented in the organization, it would help to absorb promising new technologies, it also tends to simplify the workflow. The system also helps in improving exactness, creditability & stability of employee details. Major advantage which the system provides is simplifying the deployment and collection of data. The present study intends to understand the effectiveness of HRMS on employee performance. Regression analysis was conducted to analyze the influence of HRMS. It was found there was a strong influence on employee performance.

The fact that the signature is widely used as a means of personal verification emphasizes the need for an automatic verification system. Verification can be performed either Offline or Online based on the application. Online systems use dynamic information of a signature captured at the time the signature is made. Offline systems work on the scanned image of a signature. We have worked on the Offline Verification of signatures using a set of shape based geometric features. The features that are used are Baseline Slant Angle, Aspect Ratio, Normalized Area, Center of Gravity, number of edge points, number of cross points, and the Slope of the line joining the Centers of Gravity of two halves of a signature image. Before extracting the features, pre-processing of a scanned image is necessary to isolate the signature part and to remove any spurious noise present. The system is initially trained using a database of signatures obtained from those individuals whose signatures have to be authenticated by the system. For each subject a mean signature is obtained integrating the above features derived from a set of his/her genuine sample signatures. This mean signature acts as the template for verification against a claimed test signature. In this paper, we present how the problem has been handled in the past few decades, analyze the recent advancements in the field, and the potential directions for future research.

In modern age, Content Based Image Retrieval system is used for retrieving the images from web pages. In order to retrieve an image; three visual features may help, that are color, texture and shape. Image retrieval system is used to search images from database that are content fully same as that of query image. The substantial method that help in the retrieval of images from a large database is the Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) with SVM. In proposed scheme, CBIR approach along with Support Vector Machine algorithm is used for retrieval. Proposed method has been provided higher accuracy with the help of SVM classifier.

Investment is that the loss of certain present value for the uncertain future reward. Investment is always interesting, challenging and rewarding. It is interesting because the stock market is dynamic; there is never a dull moment. It is challenging because it is uncertain, the only certainty is its uncertainty, rewarding because it is risky. The increased needs of trade, commerce and the society in the past necessitated the establishment of large-scale enterprise. The present trend of commercial enterprises is to increase their size through expansion and diversification. Few years back, stock market investment was perceived very risky and was meant only for rich class. But recently stock market investment has witnessed a great change and all investors have started viewing it as a right channel of investment to beat the inflation. Hence there is an imperative need to undertake a study of this nature to identify the problems faced by the investors and his preference towards new issue market and offer suitable solutions to overcome the problems identified. The present study focuses mainly to assess the attitudes and behaviours of the various segments of the investors. The study is also concentrated on the preference and problems faced by the investors of Kanniyakumari District in Primary Market. The objectives of the study are to find out the investment preference of investors, to analyse factors influencing the investable surplus, to determine the problems faced by the investors while investing and to offer suggestion for the problems identified in the study.

This paper presents a significant of Z-transform. It concerns with the review of what z-transform plays in the analysis of discrete signal in accordance with Laplace transform plays in the analysis of continuous signal and here we also represent the Region of convergence & its examples, and describe inverse Z-transform. We have also given emphasis on the relationship of Z-transform and Laplace transform. This study lays stress on the properties of Z-transform and its real-life applications.

Present paper aims to study the emotional intelligence of adolescent students in relation to their adjustment. 100 senior secondary students were the sample of the present study selected through random sampling method from senior secondary schools of Gandhinagar Gujarat. The present study found; There exists significant correlation between emotional intelligence and adjustment, therefore hypothesis is rejected and calculated coefficient of correlation was more than standard table value at both level of significance so there exists positive correlation between Emotional Intelligence and Adjustment among adolescents. The school administration especially the teachers must realize the importance of relationship between emotional intelligence and adjustment of secondary school students. As these students are passing through their adolescence age, they are emotionally very sensitive. This emotional sensitivity has an impact on their personality also. Thus, a teacher must be aware of this relationship between emotional intelligence and adjustment, so that he/she can manage these students with more ease in the class.

The field evaluation for detection and characterization of off-types in commercially micropropagated banana cv. Grand Naine was undertaken in this study to assess the magnitude of the variations in the farmer fields and to analyze the consequence of such variations. Around 15 private tissue culture units are supplying the planting material to the farmers through micropropagation. Field survey was taken up to identify and characterize more significant variants in order to understand the magnitude of the problem. Fields growing in-vitro Grand Naine banana plants in Hesaraghatta, Anekal, Kanakapura, Kadur were surveyed at the time of flowering and fruiting. Candidate plants showing distinct somaclonal variations were identified and recorded in data sheets along with the photographs. Different somaclonal off-types were identified and compiled depending on the morphological and agronomical characters and also by comparing with the true to type normal plant in the field. Our field study findings delineated that the morphological studies of commercially propagated in vitro banana cv. Grand Naine (AAA) in the field has shown the enormity of the off-types generated through micropropagation. Through field study 25 types of variants were identified and molecular markers for such variants have been tried for Dwarf variants and bunch variants which were the most common types of off-types causing heavy loss to the farmers as detected by present study. Furthermore, this field study has revealed the higher frequency of off-types in various fields which are unacceptable and needs to be addressed by proper methods.

Cutaneous Aspergillosis is a rare disease. It may be either primary or secondary infection. Aspergillus species is the most ubiquitous fungi. Mostly occurs in immuno-compromised patients, diabetics and patients on corticosteroids, with very rare reports in the literature of primary cutaneous Aspergillosis in immunocompetent individuals.1,2 In this case report, we describe an unique case of primary cutaneous Aspergillosis in a non-covid, diabetic patient diagnosed by fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC). FNAC techniques are safer, cost-effective and give rapid results. Early diagnosis and awareness of multiple aetiologies for skin lesions will help in prompt and correct treatment.
