 Abstract

Considering the current water scarcity and environmental issues linked with waste water, research into current treatment technologies is critical. Metals, being a highly poisonous substance with suffocating properties, are regarded as one of the environmental pollutants in a wide spectrum of industrial effluents. The current work sought to investigate metal adsorption utilizing TiO2 and ZnO nano absorbent. Two sets of tests are planned to assess metal adsorption performance. Metals are absorbed by TiO2 in the first experimental setup and ZnO in the second. These experiments take place in a batch reactor. The metal removal effectiveness of TiO2 and ZnO is investigated in batch studies utilizing the Response Surface Methodology (RSM). In this study the maximum % reduction of iron is 50.41% at pH 6, contact time 30 min and dosage is 0.04 gm of ZnO nano absorbent. Similarly for chromium it is 36.56 % reduction occurred at pH 6 and contact time 90 min and dosage of 0.08 gm of ZnO absorbent. The ZnO Absorption is effective for metal reduction in batch adsorption process

 Abstract

ABSTRACT Horticultural crops play a unique role in Indian economy by improving the income of the rural people. India, with its diversified soil and climate comprising several agro- ecological regions, provides the opportunity to cultivate different crops and varieties of horticultural crops. The Cauliflower has been recognized as an important food article due to its palatable taste and rich supply of minerals, vitamins, protein, carbohydrates and gives more profit also. With this view a study was conducted in Latur district of Maharashtra on effect of integrated nutrient on cauliflower production to know the cost of cultivation and profitability of the crop in the selected area. In order to investigate, an experiment was conducted using Randomized Block Design with three replications. The experiment comprised of 14 different treatment combinations comprising of three different sources of nutrients including inorganic, organic and bio-fertilizers. The study revealed that the highest net monetary returns (Rs. 1,18,033 ha-1) and gross monetary returns (Rs. 1,80,040 ha-1) were recorded in treatment of 75 % RDF + FYM + Azotobacter + Azospirillum (T6) followed by T2. The benefit: cost ratio was maximum (2.97) in treatment of 100 % RDF + Azotobacter + Azospirillum (T3) followed by T6 (2.90). The minimum net returns (Rs. 31,763 ha-1) and gross monetary returns (Rs. 64,000 ha-1) recorded in treatment control (T14) with low B: C ratio (1.93). From the studies it can be inferred that the application of 75 % RDF + FYM @ 5 t/ha along with Azospirillum and Azotobacter was found to be the most effective treatment combination for getting enhanced post harvested parameters in cauliflower with saving of 25 per cent chemical fertilizers.

 Abstract

Women are integral part of society, they are essential for the existence of the world. Despite being an integral part and necessary for the existence of world their condition is not good since ancient times. It was assumed that they are inferior. They are still considered a weaker sex. They were discriminated in every sphere which is still continue. In order to improve their condition, a term empowerment was needed. Government made various provisions to empower them, 73rd amendment is one of the good steps taken by government of India to politically empower women. By this they will not only politically empowered but it will result into overall empowerment of women. This provide them 33% reservation at local level, by this Amendment women have come forward to join politics in a huge scale. The present study focused on political empowerment of women in Panchayati Raj Institutions in Haryana state of India. This describes the political representation of women in Haryana. Women in Haryana have crossed the limit of 33 % reservation and they have empowered but still there is a long way to go.

 Abstract

Millions of devices with sensors and actuators connected via wired or wireless channels for data transmission make up the Internet of Things (IoT). By 2020, it is anticipated that over 25 billion devices will be connected, reflecting the IoT's tremendous growth over the last ten years. In the upcoming years, the amount of data released from these devices will multiply many-fold. In addition to producing more data overall, IoT devices also produce a lot of data in a variety of different modalities, with variable degrees of data quality determined by the speed of time and position dependency. In such a setting, machine learning algorithms can be crucial in assuring biotechnology-based security and authorisation as well as anomaly detection to enhance IoT systems. However, hackers frequently use learning algorithms to attack the flaws in IoT-based smart systems. In this study, we suggest employing machine learning to detect spam in order to secure IoT devices. Spam Detection in IoT utilising a Machine Learning framework is suggested to accomplish this goal. In this approach, a huge number of input feature sets are used to evaluate five machine learning models using a variety of criteria. Each model uses the enhanced input attributes to calculate a spam score. This rating shows how trustworthy Internet of Things (IoT) devices are based on several factors. The proposed technique is validated using the REFIT Smart Home dataset. In comparison to other current systems, the findings collected demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

 Abstract

Air quality is important to our health and environment, but sources of contamination are often difficult to monitor. GIS technology manages statistical and spatial data to provide a tool that shows the relationship between poor air quality and occurrences of deficient human and environmental health. In this way, a GIS aids in monitoring pollutant emissions. A GIS can be used to track the EPA regulated pollutant emissions by delineating the effects of ozone, smog, dust, and other harmful airborne pollutants on plant and human life. By monitoring those relationships, a GIS becomes a tool conservationists can use to ensure that no further ambient dust occurs. The main aim of study is to analyse variability of pollutants selected industrial area of Gujarat and correlated with occupational health hazard indicator

 Abstract

The holes on planets are conceivable scene bets for top precision transport docking and vagabond course tasks. As required, it is fundamental to authoritatively confine the cavities. Studies alluded to generally think around colossal degree depressions, while restricted scope holes are similarly basic for arranging reason. Pit counting started with hand counting hundreds, thousands, or even incredible numerous cavities to choose the time of geological units on planetary collections of the planetary gathering. Electronic opening area estimations have tried to speed up this cycle. Past investigation has used PC vision systems with hand customized components, for instance, light and shadow plans, circle finding, or edge acknowledgment. In extraction of restricted scope depressions, three issues become central: (1) One ground cavity can be changed fundamentally in different pictures. (2) A pit could without an entirely momentous stretch be separated over a drawn-out period and, shockingly, be disappear into the surface. (3) The significance of cavities expands earnestly as the decline of opening size

 Abstract

Communication is the act of passing ideas from one group to another using mutually recognized signs, symbols and semiotic rules. It is the only medium through which people can exchange their thoughts or convey messages. Deaf and mute people have their own set of signs. Hand gestures are a form of non-verbal communication used by deaf and mute people to communicate with each other and with the outside world. However, the problem with the current world is that most people are not knowledgeable enough to interpret hand gestures or translate them into a language that normal people can understand. Thus, to bridge the communication gap between deaf-mute and normal people, it is important to develop a system that can help them translate gestures into text and/or speech. Creating a robust communication system for the deaf community will help them become more independent and confident. Robust hand gesture recognition has played a significant role in the field of human-computer interaction for a long time, but it is still full of challenges due to many acceptances such as blurred background and hand self-occlusion. With the help of depth information, depth-based methods perform better, but depth cameras are not as widely used and affordable as color cameras. Therefore, we propose two-stage deep convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture for accurate color-based hand gesture recognition. The first phase performs the generation of pseudo-depth hand images from color images, and the second phase recognizes hand gesture classes using the color image and its pseudo-depth hand image. The architecture of the generation phase is based on a picture-to-picture translation network. In the recognition stage, a two-stream CNN architecture with a color image and its pseudo-depth image is proposed to improve the performance of color image-based recognition. Experiments show that our approach significantly improves hand gesture recognition performance in RGB only. The proposed system is user-friendly as it is easy to use and able to create effective and efficient human-computer interaction. A gestural type of communication called sign language that is observed among deaf groups around the world. We designed a deaf-mute verbal exchange device that translates hand gestures into sound massage as an interpreter.

The study is to evaluate the several risks to the farming activities and their mitigations. To evaluate the present scheme and impacts, to study the history and evolutions atdifferent social and economic systems which is greatly needed? The evolution of the CI scheme is based on the experiences made at different social /economic/political/ governance situations.Every society in all social systems irrespective of the political arrangements tried to protect the income of the farmers because that is basic need of sustenance. The study founded the basics of risk, variation in risk and remedies via CI. The result approves the present scheme named Pradhan Mantri Fasal Beema Yojna and its implementation as best ever effort to take our farmers towards minimum risk with certain social and financial challenges. The study found the existing scheme suitable and appropriate to de-risk the farmers by better coordination of all stake holders.

 Abstract

Gender-related workplace issues and wages disparities in Indian society Author: Sachin Gupta, Department of Economics, Assistant Professor at Delhi University. (E-mail- sachinstudy1201@gmail.com) Abstract This study examines the disparities in workers' motivation to compete in a cognitive task by examining workplace gender issues and wage fragmentation in Indian society. It has been determined that one significant component in explaining gender inequalities in labour markets and inside organisations is gender variations in the willingness to compare to look into the causes of this gender discrepancy, we offer investigations in Indian society males are more prone than girls to compete beginning in kindergarten, and that this difference persists throughout adolescence. We demonstrate these gender disparities in organizations and society. Gender inequality as a result has just lately been found. This has been accomplished by highlighting the innovative research directions arising from the study on discrimination and by detailing the practical repercussions of putting gender equality laws in Indian society. Thus the study examines how unionisation has impacted employment in an era of labour market liberalisation and increased worker autonomy. It also focuses on estimating inter-industry wage differentials in India's organised manufacturing sector and identifying the causes of these differences, with particular emphasis on the impact of worker casualization and increased female participation. Women had to labour in emerging nations like India due to the changing economic and social conditions, regardless of their religion, class, or social rank.
