speaking them the scholarship of Kaundinya and other four associate are occasionally met in course of deliberations of the Buddha as the tripitaka referred those five members were in touch of other contemporary eminent mendicants like Sanjaya Velatti putta, Purana Kashyapa, Maskari Goshayia, Niggantha Nathaputta, Keshakambali.(N.Datta-3) Those were known as Agrashr?vakas, foremost hearers to Buddha. They had been expert meditation practitioners and contemporary of Gautama Buddha before the awakened. Among the disciples of Buddha like Sari putra, Maudgalyana who had been the disciple of Sanjaya Velatti Putta became the Mah?shr?vaka by their merit. It suggests that his contemporary eminent teachers were non Buddhist. During the life time of Buddha there was a good back ground in mendicancy and scholarship in various the pre-Buddhist systems. Magadha was then an important resident of yati(s) mendicants of different order with scholarship.

 Abstract

Currently the most common form of cancer diagnosed in women all over the world is breast cancer. One of the leading causes of death for women, it arises in breast tissue. If this cancer is discovered in its early stages, it can be treated. There are two types of tumors that can occur in breast cancer patients: malignant and benign. Malignant tumors are deadly because its growth rate is much higher than the benign one. Therefore, early identification of tumor type is essential for adequate treatment of a patient with breast cancer. In this work, the Wisconsin breast cancer data set was used, which was collected from the UCI repository. The goal is to analyze the data set and evaluate the performance of various machine learning Breast cancer prediction algorithms, here support vector Machine, logistic regression, K-nearest neighbors, Gradient Boosting Classifier and Random Forest classifiers have been implemented to classify tumors into benign and malignant. To determine the most appropriate algorithm, the accuracy of each is calculated and compared. Accordingly, Logistic Regression classifier has the highest accuracy of 99.12%. These classifiers can be used to build an automatic diagnostic system for preliminary breast diagnosis cancer.

 Abstract

Introduction: Body image can greatly impact a person's daily life and health. This study investigates the influence of desired body image on the pattern of food consumption among female students in selected tertiary institutions in Ogun state. Methods: A multistage sampling technique was used to select one hundred and eighty-seven (187) students from the selected schools. A pre-tested, structured questionnaire was used to obtain information on socio-economic characteristics; a food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) to obtain the consumption pattern; and anthropometric measurements were taken using standard procedures. Data was analyzed using frequency counts, means, standard deviations, correlation, and Chi-Square. Results: It showed that 79.8% of the students wanted a thinner body, while 52.3% of the obese replied that they had tried dieting and 45.7% were afraid of becoming fat or even gaining a small amount of weight. However, 32.7% did engage in exercise to control weight, and 21.2% induced vomiting after meals. It also showed that 22.4% and 10.6% of the students were overweight and obese, respectively. The correlation revealed a significant relationship between socio-economic characteristics and BMI because age and lifestyle were significantly correlated with being overweight (r = 0.312) and obese (r = 0.201) respectively. Conclusion: According to the findings of this study, there is a significant relationship between body image and the student's lifestyle. Hence, the study recommended that public health advice should not only centre on weight loss but also promote broader health and lifestyle messages for all people, regardless of body size and weight.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT A study was conducted to determine the antibacterial effects of Ficus sycomorus on Shigella dysenteria, and Staphylococcus aureus, after determining the phytochemical composition. Disc diffusion plate method was employed in the antibacterial property determination. The phytochemical screening revealed the presence of alkanoids, flavonoids, tannins, reducing sugar, saponins and steroids. Both Aqueous and ethanolic extracts had the best activities at 15 mg/ml with 6.1, 6.0, 3.7 and 8.1, 7.0, 4.7+0.42 against S. aureus and S dyenteria respectively. The least effect was by 5 mg/ml treatments of both aqueous and ethnolic extracts with 2.5 and 3.3, respectively. The 10 mg/ml treatments had values close to those of the positive control. The results therefore indicate a positive antibacterial activity of F. sycomorus which lend a support to the usage in traditional herbal medicines, and can be included in further investigation with a view to treat diseases caused by these pathogenic bacteria.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT Rhizospheres of Watermelon and Spinach, in two suburbs of Sokoto (Kwalkwalawa and Ruggar liman), were studied. Nutrient agar was used in cultures while microscopy and biochemical characterization were carried out using the nutrient agar and saboraud dextrose agar for bacterial and fungal respective identification. Streak plate method was used for inoculation of serially diluted soil samples obtained from the respective sampling farm locations. The samples were collected in triplicates for each point. Forty strains belonging to six species including Pseudomonas syringae, P. fluorescence, Bacillus subtilis, and B. cereus were isolated. B. subtilis had eleven occurrences, P. syringae had eleven, P. fluorescence, B. cereus had nine and seven occurrences each, while E. coli occurred two times, only. The most common bacteria on the fields were B. subtilis, followed by Pseudomonas spp. The least occurring was E. coli. The bacterium was absent in sample sites of kwalkwalawa. However, all bacterial species were recorded in all sampling points of Ruggar Liman. Further research into the beneficial activity, or otherwise will help in enabling the farmers know the appropriate steps to take if control is required.

 Abstract

Exploring an original strategy for building deep networks, based on stacking layers of denoising autoencoders which are trained locally to denoise corrupted versions of their inputs. The resulting algorithm is a straightforward variation on the stacking of ordinary autoencoders. It is however shown on a benchmark of classification problems to yield significantly lower classification error, thus bridging the performance gap with deep belief networks (DBN), and in several cases surpassing it. Higher level representations learnt in this purely unsupervised fashion also help boost the performance of subsequent SVM classifiers. Qualitative experiments show that, contrary to ordinary autoencoders, denoising autoencoders are able to learn Gabor-like edge detectors from natural image patches and larger stroke detectors from digit images. This work clearly establishes the value of using a denoising criterion as a tractable unsupervised objective to guide the learning of useful higher level representations.

 Abstract

This paper is an effort to evaluate the quality of life of the women belonging to the scheduled caste. It also highlights the other major issues like underlying vulnerability, social exclusion, and inclusion of women belonging to the scheduled castes, especially in the rural taluk of Davanagere district. We have now begun to recognize the linkages between social exclusion and high levels of deprivation and poverty of social groups that have suffered such exclusion and differential treatment in different spheres. It has also been recognized that unfair exclusion or inclusion results in low access to income-earning assets, employment, social needs like education, health services, food, and housing; unequal access to civil, religious, cultural, and political rights; and unequal participation in governance, which ultimately cause high poverty and low human development among the excluded groups. This paper thus highlights the issues faced by the deprived among the deprived group, i.e., the women belonging to scheduled castes.

 Abstract

Abstract: Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) were clinically introduced more than 25 years ago and have since proven to be invaluable, safe, and effective agents for the management of a variety of acid-related disorders. Although all members in this class act in a similar fashion, inhibiting active parietal cell acid secretion, there are slight differences among PPIs relating to their pharmacokinetic properties, metabolism, and Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved clinical indications. Nevertheless, each is effective in managing gastroesophageal reflux disease and uncomplicated or complicated peptic ulcer disease. Despite their overall efficacy, PPIs do have some limitations related to their short plasma half-lives and requirement for meal-associated dosing, which can lead to breakthrough symptoms in some individuals, especially at night. Longer-acting PPIs and technology to prolong conventional PPI activity have been developed to specifically address these limitations and may improve clinical outcomes..

 Abstract

During the pandemic person to person contact was abundant risky for the specialist, medical employees and patient. Specialists ar ordinarily expected to figure at every medical clinic and crisis focus in each facet .Hence it's unfeasible for to attend every and each one , to be accessible at every spot at wished time. to help with this issue we tend to here have a Virtual Doctor mechanism that allows a specialist to basically move around any clinic area and have oral communication with patient. the use of such robots is to limit individual to-individual contact and to make sure support in clinical facilities. this may come through limiting the risk to clinical employees and plenty of peoples operating position within the organization of the pandemic. This mechanism offers a lot of advantages for specialists some like as: Doctors will move around in activity theatres. Specialists will see clinical reports remotely through video calls. Specialists will move around in several rooms. The specialist will use associate IOT based mostly board to regulate the mechanism. The management orders sent on-linear received by the mechanism controller. The mechanism controller works overWifi

 Abstract

Surveillance has become an important task in recent time mainly due to the increasing of crime rates. The existing research on surveillance for day time has achieved better performance by detecting and tracking objects using deep learning algorithms. However, it is difficult to achieve the same performance for night vision mainly due to low illumination and/or bad weather situation. One of the important tasks in surveillance is object detection which results in both class and location of the detected object with clear boundary of the objects from the image. We propose an efficient object detection module using fusion of thermal and visible images. Fusion module consists of encoder-decoder network in which encoder uses depthwise convolution to extracts efficient features from the given thermal and visible images. Then after, fused image is reconstructed using convolutional layers and final map is utilized in object detection algorithm (i.e., mask RCNN). The proposed method shows the effectiveness of utilization of pre-processing module i.e., fusion in object detection algorithm. Here, it is observed that the proposed method performs better for night vision when images are trained carefully with various features. Moreover, proposed method performs better on real time night vision images having no illumination condition.

 Abstract

Currency is a medium of exchange that serves as a useful store of value and is used as a token of exchange for purchasing products and services. Currency identification and authentication are some of the most challenging parts in the current time because the currency has its diverse forms like paper, coins, etc. As there are different forms there are different techniques to validate the currencies. Among them, image processing is one of the important techniques for currency identification. In the era of Data Science and Bigdata, a huge amount of data is being processed every day. In this research paper, we explored various currencies and their forms by extracting and analyzing their features in-depth using deep learning. Our system recommends an algorithm to detect forged notes/coins which helps people worldwide to prevent personal monetary damages.

 Abstract

Healthcare supply chains are complex structures spanning across multiple organizational and geographical boundaries, providing critical backbone to services vital for everyday life. The inherent complexity of such systems can introduce impurities including inaccurate information, lack of transparency and limited data provenance. Counterfeit drugs is one consequence of such limitations within existing supply chains which not only has serious adverse impact on human health but also causes severe economic loss to the healthcare industry. Consequently, existing studies have emphasized the need for a robust, end-to-end track and trace system for pharmaceutical supply chains. Therein, an end-to- end product tracking system across the pharmaceutical supply chain is paramount to ensuring product safety and eliminating counterfeits. Most existing track and trace systems are centralized leading to data privacy, transparency and authenticity issues in healthcare supply chains. In this article, we present an Ethereum blockchain-based approach leveraging smart contracts and decentralized off-chain storage for efficient product traceability in the healthcare supply chain. The smart contract guarantees data provenance, eliminates the need for intermediaries and provides a secure, immutable history of transactions to all stakeholders. We present the system architecture and detailed algorithms that govern the working principles of our proposed solution. We perform testing and validation, and present cost and security analysis of the system to evaluate its effectiveness to enhance traceability within pharmaceutical supply chains

 Abstract

ABSTRACT: Water is a natural resource that is required for the survival of all living things and metabolic processes on the planet. Lakes, being precious natural resources, have always been of tremendous value to humans. They have always been a source of water for domestic, industrial, and irrigation reasons since ancient times. Nundkol Lake is an oligotrophic alpine lake in Jammu and Kashmir's Kashmir Valley, in the Ganderbal district. This lake is located at the base of Mount Haramukh (5,142 metres). Gangbal Lake, which is larger and higher in height, is 1.5 kilometres to the north of the lake. During the summer, the shores of Nundkol Lake, surrounded by lush green meadows, serve as a camping location. Naranag is the closest settlement and serves as the starting point for the trip to the lake. The capacity and quality of lake water are deteriorating as a result of expanding urbanisation, industrialisation, and other development activities. As a result, the current study has been done to analyse the quality of lake water and to investigate its potential environmental implications. Taking these aspects and the need into account, this paper conducted a review of the existing literature.

 Abstract

The transgender person represents a challenge to the notion of sex and sexuality as the problems to gendered and heterosexual subjectivities continue to persist. A number of judicial pronouncements particularly in U.S, Australia and New Zealand abandoned chromosomes and birth as the governing factor in determining sex. Instead, preferred to articulate the test of psychological and anatomical harmony which gave prominence to sex reassignment surgery. Judicial anxiety over the homosexual body proves to be a consistent and central feature of transgender jurisprudence. Although, there has been a gradual shift in the outlook of gender identity, Foucault has rightly argued that the function of law as a judicial entity has greatly diminished and focused more on regulations governing norms. This has been exemplified by the U.S. Supreme Court in Bowers v. Hardwick and by the House of Lords in the infamous case of R v. Brown2 how, the structural mindset of normative gender construct lead the way for stigmatization, discrimination, marginalization and violation of their rights exposes the transgender people to extreme vulnerabilities. Prior to 19th C the idea of recognizing deviant sexual actions were not prominent and social mindset was confined to cultural assumptions. In 1849, Claude Francois Michea, a French physician, for the first time formulated a theory that sexual desire between men is an inborn phenomenon.4 Despite having existed throughout the history of human civilization, a large number of literature related to biological aetiology, failure to consolidate consensus as well as psychological accounts have tended to receive prominence in accessing and categorizing transgender persons.
