 Abstract

CV/Resumes taken from different professions use different formats, fonts, styling and structuring and vocabulary. We are focusing the concept of Automated Recruitment process and the mail logic behind it is to provide ease to Recruitment Process with the help of Technology. In this paper we are using concept to Text-Mining, Pdf-Mining, tokenization, parts of speech and many other steps which would require to build algorithm for our thesis. Tokenization is a key step in the process of information extraction from the given input CVs, the tokenizer module of natural language processing libraries are compared with regard to per- formance, throughput and applicability. At the later stages the dissertation will look into the inner workings of open-source parsers, measures their precision and recall, comparing the result to the previous CVs. The performance of three commercial resume parsers were also evaluated. Lastly the steps of an iterative development are discussed, by which a new resume parser was developed, where the emphasis was on using the resumes structural and visual information, rather than relying only on its raw text.We will evaluate the performance of newly developed resume parser is measured, and compare its output to another set of pre-annotated resumes. Each step of the parsing process will be examined closely and recommendations will made for future researches.

 Abstract

In todays world it is believed that women can do anything they want but still sometimes they face gender discrimination in the form of inequality, favouritism and their voice is supressed by man. This project work summarizes the need for the upliftment and empowerment of women in the Indian society, where for a long time women have been considered to be the inferior gender and are not provided equal opportunities and working conditions as compared to that provided to man. In this report emphasis has been laid towards the women of the North-eastern states of India and how these women have not only been empowered but also there voice has been amplified in this region from past few years with the help of government and NGOs that run for the betterment of women. The study reveals that in some parts of northeast India still activities like polygamy, substance abuse, violence against women at home etc. are practised and women are constrained to their homes though in other parts of the northeast women are much independent and are considered to be the head of the family and decision makers, have their say in the society and are free to work for themselves and their families wellbeing. Further there has been use of secondary data from reliable and authorised sights in support of this research work.

 Abstract

When companies post jobs to their sites or other sites then hundreds of applications are received. Reading these CVs and recruiting the right candidates is a work that will include higher workforce to getting the result manually. Parsing Resume and scanning the same is an old process and estimating his proficiency in certain areas are practiced earlier. If we see currently there are no open-source CV parsers are available to extract knowledge from CV with expected results and therefore the purpose of the dissertation is to remove the shortcoming in the current Recruitment Systems which are used for extracting information from available CV thatwas available with the organization. With this research dissertation we are trying to generate solution to problem and provides accuracy in results and does the work faster.CV/Resumestakenfromdifferentprofessions use different formats, fonts, styling and structuring and vocabulary.  Abstract

As we know that changes in the society can be brought only through education and both teachers and textbooks are the major components of formal education. In present time, we observe laxity of moral values in the society. Now a days, it is noticed that news of misconduct or wrong doings in the newspaper by students has become commonplace. All these negative aspects raise the question in front of us that what our textbooks are not imparting or inculcating values to the learners ? and if it exists, then why these values are not reflected in the behavior of the learners ? It is a big issue which draws attention of the researcher. Hence, this study tries to find out the moral values imbibed in Hindi textbook of class 8th named Vasant Bhaag-3 prescribed by NCERT and also teachers role in addressing these values in the classroom discourse.

 Abstract

In December 2019, A nCoV has been identified as a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans. On February 11, 2020, WHO renamed the COVID-19 from formerly named the 2019- nCoV. This phenomenon has resulted in a massive public reaction; the media has been reporting on a regular basis across borders to keep everyone informed about the pandemic situation. All these things are creating a lot of concern for people leading to increased levels of anxiety. Pandemics can result in increased levels of stress; Anxiety is a common rejoinder to any stressful situation. This study attempted to assess the awareness about prevention strategies against COVID-19 infection and stress level among adult Indian population during the Lockdown period of COVID-19 pandemic. An online survey was conducted using a semi-structured questionnaire. A total of 100 responses were received. The responders had a moderate level of anxiety levels identified in the study. More than 95% of the people were aware about the prevention strategies and were reported to take preventive actions to prevent themselves from COVID-19 infection. There is a need to intensify the awareness and address the mental health issues of people during this COVID-19 pandemic, which might result in mental stress among the population of India.

 Abstract

Education is the process of facilitating learning or acquisition of knowledge, skills, values and beliefs. Inclusive and equitable quality education is the basic human right of every individual and is a crucial goal of sustainable development. However, disparities exist within the educational system in India which has now further increased because of the new pandemic. Children are deprived of regular learning opportunities because of school closure. In this article, a modest attempt has been made to review the literature on the impact of COVID-19 on the learning processes of children. The aim of this literature review is to identify empirical studies focusing on the impact of Covid-19 on Education of Children and to propose solutions, which should be introduced to mitigate the immediate impact of school closures on the education of children. Secondary sources have been used to describe and summarize the content. The findings suggest that there is a need for an exhaustive change in the education sector at the national level. The study concludes that a detailed comprehensive guideline and a contingency plan is required before the schools reopen. Further, a training programme is required to prepare teachers and students for online classes.

 Abstract

The social awakening movement and the introduction of various new facilities to the specific class, caste groups, communities by the colonial Government inspired them to launch socio-religious movement which took the shape of caste consolidation movement during the late nineteenth and first half of the twentieth century. In this movement there was a significant role of Sri Sri Hari Chand Thakur and Sri Sri Guru Chand Thakur for the overall development of the depressed and downtrodden people in the society, especially for the upliftment of the Namasudras. Sri Sri Hari Chand Thakurs principle aim was to unite the untouchables and the oppressed for a common cause of collective thought, and that is where the key to the liberation of spirituality lies. He wanted to establish a classless, casteless society. Sri Sri Guru Chand Thakur believed that he could not save his community unless he worked for all other social groups, especially for the depressed and untouchables. He also said that, All human beings living this world will be considered by me as belonging to one. He also realized that in order to be socially developed, the Namasudras must have adopted education. This is education which brings wealth and without wealth no caste can move up in the society.

 Abstract

When a disease reaches to pandemic level leading to severe disaster situation, it spontaneously alerts the health-care workers and hospitals for protecting the health of the citizens of the country. This requires adoption of quickly acting health protecting systems with immediate and distant vision, which are to be continued even for the longer period. This is an essential task since the disease in its pandemic form, spreads over mass population with a faster pace and persists for a longer period. This certainly leads to damage of the health system of mass population at one end and at other end it badly affects the economy of a country. Such pandemic also overburdens the health-care facilities. As we are having limited resources in health sector, we need to work with less and need to give the more. To enhance the capabilities of our hospitals and various health-care organizations, digital technology can play a major role in early detection of the disease as well as limiting the spread of the disease. This paper provides possible solutions for the application of digital technologies which can further help in overcoming the pandemic situation, highlighting the successful ways like pandemic planning, contact tracing and surveillance, increased testing and many others in order to achieve the controllable position in the current outbreak.

Menstruation and menstrual practices still face many social, cultural, and religious restrictions which are a big barrier in the path of menstrual hygiene management. In many parts of the country especially in rural areas girls are not prepared and aware about menstruation so they face many difficulties and challenges at home, schools, and work places. A number of programmes have recently been launched to popularise the use of sanitary pads among poor women in progressing countries. In this light, we review the prevailing menstrual practices in different contexts across the Kolhapur, as well as the initiatives undertaken to improve sanitary care. We also report findings from a study amongst women in Kolhapur. We draw upon these results to comment on better sanitary care for women slum dwellers in a rapidly urbanising context.

 Abstract

In Kerala the popular development experience is challenged and criticized by various marginalized sections on the basis of exclusion faced by them. (D.Shyjan 2009).There exist gaps in the development of these sections when compared to the mainstream. The TSP was introduced in 1974. It is to channelize the flow of outlays and benefits from general development sectors to these sub plans at least in proportion to their population for the betterment of STs. The general economic planning actually failed to trickle down the benefits of development to the poor and marginalized people and to bring down the continuing socio-economic disparities in the society that seriously affect them. So, it is valid to raise some relevant questions related to the execution of TSP in Kerala. They are; why they fall behind the other social groups in many development indicators, even after the three decades of specific targeted TSP for them?. How far these programmes were successful in solving the problems faced by scheduled tribes?. Is there any failure in the policy and programme formulation and implementation?. In this context we focusing TSP that aimed at the empowerment and development of STs and also looks at the allocation and utilization of TSP in Kerala and identifies reasons for the flaws in its implementation and its inability to solve many problem faced by them. . The study concludes that a large share of TSP is underutilized and also the funds are used for some other purpose. So there should be a reorientation of the TSP programme.

 Abstract

The physiological characteristics of human life depends upon the intake, metabolism and excretion of stable elements from food, water and air. The physiological behaviour of varies by gender, recent activities, food and fluid consumption, time of day, and in women the stages of menstrual cycle. These values also vary with countries and the continent. The physiological parameters, such as heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, serum levels of various stress hormones (e.g. cortisol ) and immunological functions (e.g. suppression of lymphocyte activity) can be used to assess the welfare.

 Abstract

The development of good information now triggers the use of very broad and very easy to use technology. In its development this technology is known as Information Technology (IT), where IT is a good tool in connecting the giver and recipient of information. An example of the application of IT that can measure the level of user satisfaction with the system is by using sentiment analysis. Measuring the level of satisfaction by using this sentiment analysis can also be applied in the field of learning. Previous research has been conducted to measure the level of student satisfaction with the learning process assisted by laboratory assistants based on questionnaires. However, the assessment of student satisfaction in previous studies is said to fail if only limited to questionnaires. We propose using sentiment analysis to evaluate the learning process for students assisted by laboratory assistants. In conducting research using the concept of sentiment analysis we use logistic regression (LR) and nave Bayes (NB) methods. As for several stages such as: first, collecting data about opinions or reviews from students whose learning process is assisted by laboratory assistants. Second, we will conduct training data with both methods. Third, we will make conclusions, what methods are best used in measuring the evaluation of learning carried out by laboratory assistants. The results of this study will provide results that NB is a good algorithm in evaluating student opinion levels with an accuracy value of 80.32%.
