The situation in the labour market is such that one of the genders is dominating a given professional category. The phenomenon known as occupational segregation (by sex) is a persistent feature of labor markets all around the world. The present study seeks to look into the effect of this labour market heterogeneity (segregation) in terms of levels of living (well-being). It is observed that there is a negative relationship between segregation and levels of well-being. The higher is the intensity of segregation (i.e., the higher the asymmetry in the labour force), the higher is the deprivation in the levels of well-being (i.e., the higher the incidence of poverty).

The Nazis constructed Auschwitz by the end of 1943. Originally designed as an extermination camp, the leadership's decision to utilise all human resources available, including Jews, transformed it into a labour camp. The camps classified the detainees encompassed all ages, conditions, origins, languages, cultures, and traditions. Deported from various European countries, these detainees spoke up to forty different languages, creating an extraordinarily polyglot society. However, the official language, or a wide range of sociolinguistic terms, was German. The detainees struggled with the German language as all the signs were in German, which they didn't know or understand. This presented numerous challenges for them. They were required to complete everything in German exclusively. When they tried to communicate in their native language, they faced physical abuse and humiliation. The SS guards often used interpreters to translate their orders to detainees. These interpreters played an important part in the concentration camps' linguistic confusion. This paper seeks to highlight the circumstances of interpreters in a multilingual concentration camp, emphasizing the similarity of their fate to that of other detainees through an account from Primo Levi's masterpiece literary work If This is a Man.

In recent years, the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) has had a significant impact on the Indian economy. The GST is a comprehensive indirect tax levied on the supply of goods and services across India, and it has replaced a complex web of indirect taxes that were levied at both the state and central levels. To further simplify the compliance process and enhance the user experience, the government of India has developed a mobile application for GST. Here we are creating a GST mobile application that is a user-friendly and convenient tool for taxpayers, which provides a host of features and services related to GST. The app offers a variety of services, including registration for GST, filing returns, and tracking the status of refund claims. It also provides information related to GST rates, which can be accessed through its user-friendly interface. One of the most useful features of the GST mobile application is the GST calculator. The calculator is a simple and efficient tool that allows taxpayers to calculate the GST payable on their transactions. It can be used for both intra-state and inter-state transactions, and it takes into account the applicable GST rates and input tax credits. Another useful feature of the GST mobile application is the GST calendar, which provides important dates related to GST compliance, such as the due date for filing returns and making payments. The app has a user-friendly interface, offers a variety of services, and provides important information related to GST. Its features such as the GST calculator and GST calendar make it a must-have tool for all GST registered taxpayers. Overall, the GST mobile application is a significant step towards more efficient and transparent taxpayers in India.

Mosquito-borne illnesses are still a concern to world health, particularly in tropical and subtropical areas. An efficient defense against mosquito bites and the spread of these diseases is the use of mosquito repellents. Chemical-based mosquito repellents can be harmful to human health, especially to children and pregnant women. The use of natural plant-based components is a potential approach in the development of sustainable and eco-friendly mosquito repellents, which has gained popularity in recent years. In this study, we prepared a mosquito repellent dhoop using orange peels, as orange peels are a rich source of essential oils including limonene, which has been found to have mosquito-repelling qualities. This research article describes how orange peels can be used to make mosquito-repelling dhoop (incense) which is used to ward off mosquito. The orange peels are dried and ground into a powder, then they are combined with various ingredients like charcoal, camphor, turmeric and essential oils to make dough. After shaping the dough into cones or sticks, it is allowed to dry. It has been demonstrated that the resulting dhoop has substantial anti-mosquito capabilities and can offer protection for up to two hours. There are many benefits to using orange peels as a raw material for mosquito repellent dhoop, including its availability, affordability and environmental friendliness. Additionally, using organic materials from plants lessens exposure to synthetic chemicals and their possible health risks. Overall, our study demonstrates the potential of orange peels as a natural source of mosquito repellent and provides a simple and effective method for preparing a mosquito repellent dhoop.

A significant target of Mahatma Gandhi Public Provincial Business Assurance Program (MGNREGP) is to check rustic out-relocation. This paper based on a miniature level field examination needs to explore the viability of this program to decrease the power of movement of the provincial unfortunate families to urban regions. The overview region is a mono-editing region however work in the private non-ranch work in the territory is accessible modestly. In addition, the small distances between the surveyed villages and the nearby urban or semi-urban areas indicate that daily migration is inexpensive. Moreover, all of the migrants in our sample villages migrate on a daily basis. The neighborhood ranch, normal private non-ranch wage and the typical compensation rate in the close by metropolitan casual area is more than MGNREGP piece-rate. Subsequently, looking for work here through MGNREGP isn't exogenous yet endogenous in nature. In this research article, it is demonstrated that 'inspiration' is a component which impacts the neighborhood MGNREGP work card holders to get more individual long stretches of work through MGNREGP and the families who could get more individual long stretches of work through MGNREGP are less inclined to relocate from their local town.

Osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) are two major forms of arthritis associated with severe joint pain and reduced quality of life. Various pharmacological interventions may be utilized for arthritis treatment when non-pharmacological therapy is insufficient. Herbal remedies offer a promising alternative to synthetic drugs due to their natural origin and minimal side effects. This research focuses on the formulation and in vitro characterization of an herbal pain balm designed to alleviate arthritis symptoms. The formulated herbal pain balm demonstrated significant antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties in vitro. The stability studies confirmed its efficacy over time. These findings suggest that the balm could be a viable alternative or complementary treatment for arthritis. Though these herbs have shown promise for OA and RA treatment, more studies and clinical trials are required for determining safety and efficacy, bioactivity, and optimal bioavailability.

Finance which holds a significant place in the economy is accountable for the societal development as well as economic development for any nation in the world. To achieve this there is a need for a very solid and well-defined financial system. Financial Inclusion helps in achieving unbiased and comprehensive advancement of a nation. Financial accessibility has become a significant priority for policymakers in recent times. Ensuring equal access to the financial system for all individuals, irrespective of their financial situation, has become an important objective for the government. Financial Inclusion means making financial and banking services available at nominal prices to individuals irrespective of their economic status. Its prime focus is to give financial aid to the impoverished sections of society. The objective is to empower the disadvantaged and underprivileged to manage their finances effectively and acquire financial knowledge. Advancements in financial technology and digital payment platforms have enabled more startups to make financial inclusion more accessible and attainable. This paper examines several government efforts, their implementation challenges, and the important role that financial inclusion plays in the Indian economy.
