 Abstract

Climate crisis has given rise to eco-anxiety among people and has a lot of adverse effects on mental health and wellbeing in general. A demonstration of resilience in the face of such environmental difficulties might help manage eco-anxiety and maintain meaning in life. The current study was conducted to study the relationship between eco-anxiety, resilience and meaning in life among young adults. For the study, 150 participants (75 female, 75 male) between the age range of 18-24 years from different colleges of Delhi NCR who responded to the Hogg's Eco-anxiety scale (HEAS-13), Connor Davidson resilience scale (CD-RISC) and Meaning in Life questionnaire (MLQ). The results showed that there were no significant gender differences in the levels of eco-anxiety, resilience, and meaning in life among young adults. The results also found that there was a weak negative relationship between eco-anxiety and resilience; no significant correlation between eco-anxiety and meaning in life and a significant positive relationship between resilience and meaning in life among young adults. Regression analysis showed that resilience significantly predicted meaning in life. The study also proposed various possible factors for explanation of the result and ways to deal with eco anxiety, build resilience and maintain meaning in life. The relationship between the variables was discussed.

 Abstract

Radio and Television (TV) has been the most common medium of entertainment. It provides a wide variety of entertainment programs of various genres to entertain audiences throughout the world. Education has emerged as the key source of development for any individual or country. The literacy rate in almost all developed nations is more than the literacy rate of developing nations. This proves the significance of education in the development of any individual or nation. As these mediums of entertainment have a widespread reach among the masses, these mediums can be used as an important education medium as well. Keeping this in mind, these media are being used as mediums for imparting education in various countries. This fact is not unique to India. In India, these entertainment mediums are also broadcasting various educational programs. Due to their widespread reach as mentioned above, underprivileged children living in remote areas where online learning is not possible can be approached for educational purposes. The paper discusses various educational programs aired on TV and Radio, especially by Government-Owned Channels. The data collected for the purpose is secondary in nature.  Abstract

Dental caries occurs as a result of the localised disintegration of the hard tissues of teeth, which is predominantly brought on by acids, due to the presence of bacteria in the biofilm (dental plaque) on the surface of teeth. Dental caries is the term for these "cavities". The disadvantages of commercially available liquid mouthwashes containing artificial active ingredients include tooth discolouration, a greater alcohol content, odd tastes, xerostomia, and stability issues. creating the oral hygiene solid preparation (US6428770B1) in the form of herbal effervescent mouthwash tablets (CN106619318A, US8728446B2) using Azadirachta indica and Curcumin, which have antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiplaque, and anti-inflammatory activities. To conduct the optimisation research for effervescent granules, a 33 factorial design was employed. A total of 27 early experimental batches with various ratios of citric acid, tartaric acid, and sodium bicarbonate were produced using the fusion procedure. Scanning electron microscopy was used to further examine the combination made up of curcumin and hydroxypropyl cyclodextrin. The manufactured tablets' pre- and post-compression characteristics were evaluated. An in vitro antibacterial study employing the Agar well diffusion technique was conducted on S. mutans. Each experimental batch of effervescent granules had its pH, effervescent duration, and CO2 content measured. The final tablet formulation was created using six more batches. The considerable pre-compression parameter findings showed excellent flow characteristics and post-compression parameters.

 Abstract

The cost of urbanization and development in today's globalized world has led to an unforeseen depletion of conventional energy resources. The demand for these energy sources has reached its peak, but due to limited land resources, urban areas have transformed into concrete jungles with towering buildings. These densely populated urban centers heavily rely on traditional electricity sources, thereby significantly altering the natural environment. The combination of high population density and the rapid consumption of conventional electricity sources has resulted in alarmingly rising energy prices. Addressing this issue requires tackling the mounting pollution levels and exploring alternative energy sources such as solar electricity, which holds great potential for benefiting humanity. In this article, we will delve into the field of solar electricity technology, specifically focusing on photovoltaic cells and the utilization of PVsyst, an automated software, for evaluating its effectiveness post-installation.The power output, calculations, losses, and various parameters associated with solar electricity are meticulously calculated after installing the system on the south-east wall of APCOER building in Parvati, Pune, Maharashtra, India. This comprehensive evaluation aims to shed light on the performance and efficiency of solar electricity technology in a real-world setting.

 Abstract

In this study, medicines and their metabolites are often quantified in plasma matrices using bioanalytical techniques. These techniques should be applied to investigations in both nonhuman and human clinical research fields. A critical component of calculation and interpretation of bioequivalence, pharmacokinetic, and toxicokinetic research is the employment of the bioanalytical method for the quantitative assessment of medicines and their metabolites in biological medium. Method creation, method validation, and sample analysis are the three main responsibilities of bioanalysis. It is important to consider how environment, matrix, and procedural factors may affect the estimation of analyte in the matrix at each stage of the procedure, from setup to analysis. Each instrument has unique benefits and drawbacks. For the bioanalysis of small/large compounds, gas chromatography and HPLC have primarily been utilized, along with LC/MS/MS. In this review paper, it is advised that we add a few information on the development and validation of bioanalytical methods. We will be able to identify the medicine, its concentration, and its metabolite using these specifics, which will aid in quality control.

 Abstract

The key changes took place in the operation of banks in India after liberalization, privatization and globalization. Economic reform in India started in early 90s, but their results are visible now. Non-performing assets mirror of the performance of banks. A high level of Non-performing assets suggests high chance of a large number of credit defaults that affect the profitability and net-worth of banks and reduce the value of the assets. NPAs affect the liquidity and profitability, in addition to create threat on value of assets and survival of banks. To boost the efficiency and profitability, the NPAs have to be organized. Various steps have been taken by authority to reduce the Non-performing assets. An attempt is made in this paper that what is Non-performing assets? In this analysis an effort has been made to evaluate the functioning performance of the selected public sector bank & Private bank in India and also study how efficiently Public and Private sector banks can manage NPA

 Abstract

This article talks about the theme of Understanding the Identity and deconstructing it of the low-caste women characters and their portrayal that is significant in the framework developed by upper-caste men in the novel, which engages with the issues of caste and gender in terms of the conflict between tradition and modernity. The paper attempts to discuss how Brahmanic structures are constructive to the identities and sexualities of the lower caste woman, and also reveal how the female body is constructed by the Brahmin patriarchy, and how the low caste women as objects of sexuality are being approached by the upper caste men, by questioning their identity as Other, which society looks from polluted minds. It is a work that defines the cultural aspects of Brahmanism that is being polluted by violating its norms, and tradition in the shade of other caste cultural practices. The main focus of the work that is being highlighted is how the strong cultural roots that Brahmanism follow is affected by the low-caste women's existence. The development that it takes, makes us understand that Brahmin patriarchy ideologies are hindered by the practices that make their culture, and tradition pave the path toward modernity.

 Abstract

A method to find and examine the fluorescence in the sample is fluorescence spectroscopy, fluorimetry, or spectrofluorimetry. An energy shift from a higher to a lower state that is accompanied by radiation is known as fluorescence. When an electron transitions from an excited state to the electronic ground state and releasesits excess energy as a photon, the process is known as luminescence, which is the emission of light by a substance. Fluorescence spectroscopy is a rapid and accurate method for understanding the molecular environment and events in materials. Because of its remarkable sensitivity, high specificity, simplicityof use, and low cost fluorometry is favored over other analytical techniques. It is a reliable technique that is frequently applied in the field of medical diagnosis for a variety of environmental applications. This review portrays a concise account of the introduction to spectrofluorimetry, its principle, factors affecting and its variousapplications in organic, inorganic, agricultural, chemical, industrial, pharmaceutical, biosciences, environmental and specific applications are also includedin this article.

 Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of style of learning and thinking on divergent production abilities among adolescents, as well as to compare these variables between males and females. Given the lack of exploration around here, the motivation behind this paper was the assessment of the connection amongst both the variables. A sample of approximately 100 adolescents, 50 of whom were female and 50 of whom were male were selected for the study. They were selected from Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) in India and ranged in age from 15-19 years purposively; they did not have any mental or physical disabilities, were regular school or college going adolescents, had nearly identical socioeconomic backgrounds. Descriptive-regression methodology was employed, utilizing quantitative data collection and analysis techniques. The data was gathered using the "Style of Learning and Thinking" and "Divergent Production Abilities" scales, along with a demographic form. The results of regression analysis revealed that there was no significant impact of style of learning and thinking on divergent production abilities among adolescents. Furthermore, gender differences were examined in relation to both style of learning and thinking and divergent production abilities. The findings indicated that there were no significant gender differences in style of learning and thinking, as well as in divergent production abilities, among male and female adolescents. The study suggests that style of learning and thinking may not be a significant predictor of divergent production abilities in this population.

 Abstract

Finding hostel and good food for a student in new city is a time-consuming process, even hostels have a hard time finding hostilities. It is quite complicated to access all accommodation facilities individually. That's where our website comes in. It is capable of acting as an interface between the owners and the users. In this project, we are going to develop an online website which aims at providing accommodation along with additional facilities available like mess gyms. In our website students can even give feedback and ratings related to their respective mess.

 Abstract

Intimate partner violence refers to abusive behaviour patterns towards the partner or among them. IPV has been a plague in our society ever since it can be recalled. In theoretical terms, intimate partner violence is behavior that aims to gain control and power over one's partner. This involves physical, psychological, sexual or financial abuse and threats that aim to harm or control another person. There is less awareness about intimate partner violence or domestic violence in India which makes it a bigger problem as it leads to the normalization of violence against women in the community. Hence, it becomes important to understand the perceptions of Individuals about IPV in India, where rates of gender inequality, income imbalance and IPV are extremely high. The following review sheds light on intimate partner violence in India and the perceptions about it.
