Dengue fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever are acute febrile diseases caused by a virus transmitted by the bite of Aedes aegypti mosquito. This disease is otherwise known as break bone or dandy fever. The name break bone fever was given because of the contortions caused due to the intense joint and muscle pain. In this study, Quantitative approach was adopted to assess the effectiveness of Structured Teaching Programme on knowledge regarding causes and prevention of dengue fever among High School students in a selected School at Mavelikara taluk, Kerala. The level of significance for testing the hypothesis was 0.05. Findings of the study showed that the pretest knowledge score (8.5) of high school students prior to the structured teaching programme was not satisfactory. The structured teaching programme helped them to learn more about the causes and prevention of dengue fever. The mean post-test knowledge score (25.55) showed significant increase in the knowledge of high school students. There was significant association between the Pretest knowledge scores with the selected Sociodemographic variables. Hence, it could be concluded that Structured Teaching Programme was an effective strategy for providing information and in improving the knowledge of the respondents.

The importance regarding the gender dimension in processes for making decisions related to investment is highlighted in this abstract. It explores the potential influence of gender on investment behavior, risk tolerance, decision-making styles, and investment outcomes. Traditional gender stereotypes and societal expectations have shaped distinct gender-based investment patterns. Women have historically been underrepresented in investment-related fields and faced various societal barriers that may impact their investment choices. Research suggests that women tend to exhibit different investment behaviors than men, often displaying more risk-averse tendencies. Several key aspects merit consideration in studying the gender factor in investment decisions. Firstly, gender differences in risk tolerance and investment styles must be explored to better understand the potential impact on investment performance. Secondly, societal and cultural factors, such as access to financial education, career opportunities, and gender-based expectations, contribute to the gender investment gap. The abstract emphasises that recognizing the role of gender in investment decisions is vital for achieving gender equality and promoting inclusive economic growth.

Abstract: Adequate ventilation of enclosed parking areas is required to ensure the concentration of vehicle exhaust pollutants, especially CO so that the concentration do not reach the level, high enough to threaten the safety of the car park occupants. So an attempt has been made to observe the maximum amount of CO Ventilation for three different velocities of exhaust fans. The simulation of the whole setup is done using Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) via the software ANSYS. With the development of CFD tools, car park ventilation can be shifted from code-based approach to performance based approach, and then using CFD methods the authenticity of the proposed design is confirmed. The proposed underground parking is a trapezoidal type area with dimensions are of 35m and 25m non parallel sides, 35.35m parallel sides and height 4 m. Here in the model two inlets and two outlet is considered. The modeling shows the CO concentration variation considerably with no fans and different positions of jet fans. So using the results showing the level of CO dispersion for the 3 observed cases of jet fan positions, a comparative analysis is concluded for CO concentration within the parking area. A considerable improvement of CO concentration has been observed after using Jet fans in arrangement 3.

India had always been known as the land that portrayed cultural and traditional vibrancy through its conventional arts and crafts. Every region in India has its own style and folk art which are very ethnic and simple, and yet colorful and vibrant enough to speak volumes about the rich heritage. Folk art in India apparently has a great potential in the international market because of its traditional aesthetic sensibility and authenticity. The most famous folk painting is Warli art of Maharashtra. Traditionally these paintings were done by hand which is time consuming and laborious process, but with technological advancement, these designs can be created directly with the help of CAD and applied on textiles through Digital Printing. It is now possible with CAD and digital printing to go straight from an initial idea to visual representation of fabric showing these designs in combination of colors within minutes. The present study was an attempt to develop fusion designs from these folk paintings using CAD and adapt them on apparels using digital printing technique. It will be an effort to reveal the unexplored treasures to the world by introducing the newly developed fusion designs from the Plethora of these arts and to open new avenues for artisans to revolutionize the Fashion world and empower them.

One of the most pressing issues in multimedia analysis in the present day digital age is video summarizing (VS.). Many other deep learning-based VS. strategies have been proposed. To analyze, extract, and derive information from long videos in the quickest time feasible, they are ineffective. Extensive research and analysis of a wide range of deep learning methods were conducted to identify the root causes of problems that are connected with different deep learning strategies when it comes to identifying and summarizing the crucial events in such films. Several deep learning algorithms have been studied and investigated for their event detection and summarization capabilities. Selecting Intervals for Keyframes The detection of events, their categorization, and their aggregation are all tasks that fall under the purview of individual activities. Further, the limitations of each category are broken down very thoroughly. The use of a deep network to spot low activity on a wide range of publicly available information raises some concerns as well. It is suggested that practicable approaches be employed to assess and improve video summaries generated from such data. Also included is a list of apps that have been recommended by the literature. Several deep learning methods that might be implemented in future studies are also discussed. The lecture continues with a discussion of possible future directions for further research in video summarization leveraging deep learning approaches.

The research paper analyzes the allocation of funds for medical and public health expenditures as well as family welfare expenditures in India over a period of four decades. The findings reveal that revenue expenditure on medical and public health has consistently been higher than capital expenditure, with an overall increasing trend. This trend is particularly relevant to India's New Economic Policy, which was implemented in the early 1990s and focused on economic liberalization and privatization. The study highlights the stable nature of capital expenditure as a share of medical and public health expenditure, with a decreasing trend in recent years. Additionally, family welfare expenditure as a percentage of revenue has mostly remained stable, with capital expenditure as a share of family welfare increasing over time. The research further highlights the increasing percentage of health expenditures allocated to family welfare, while the percentage allocated to medical and public health has remained relatively stable. Given the consistent increase in medical and public health expenditures as a percentage of GDP and the decline in family welfare expenditures as a percentage of GDP, these findings have significant implications for healthcare policy making in India in light of the New Economic Policy.

Abstract: An exploratory study was conducted to investigate the prevalence of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) and self-reported discomfort among fishermen residing in the Koliwada communities of Mumbai. MSDs are recognized as significant occupational health issues affecting the muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, joints, and surrounding soft tissues of the body. These conditions often manifest as pain, discomfort, and limitations in mobility. Fishermen, in particular, face an elevated risk of developing MSDs due to the repetitive and physically demanding nature of their work, as well as the prolonged periods spent in awkward postures. The study revealed that the most commonly affected areas among fishermen are the back, neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. Symptoms associated with MSDs can range from mild discomfort to severe pain, significantly impacting the fishermen's ability to perform their work tasks and engage in daily activities. It is crucial to adopt a multifaceted approach to prevent MSDs among fishermen, encompassing ergonomic interventions aimed at improving work practices and reducing physical strain. Additionally, education and training on proper lifting techniques and body mechanics play a vital role in preventing these disorders. Early recognition and timely treatment of MSDs are also essential to prevent long-term disability and chronic pain among fishermen. By addressing these occupational health challenges, the overall well-being and productivity of fishermen can be enhanced, contributing to the sustainability of the fishing industry. The findings of this study underscore the importance of implementing preventive measures and providing necessary support to mitigate the impact of MSDs on the occupational health of fishermen in Mumbai Koliwadas

Bridge design is a difficult subject, with the most significant aspect being the study of loads and their distribution on structural members. A basic T-beam bridge was investigated utilizing IRC loadings and the program STAAD Pro V8i. The major goal of this study is to analyze the bridge's T-beam and compute the values of bending moment, shear force, and deflection for different span ranges and compare the findings with the program STAAD Pro V8i. Carbon's approach and other methods were utilized in this article to investigate the load distribution on the girder. The distribution of the live loads among the longitudinal girders must be calculated in order to compute the bending moment due to live load in a girder and slab bridge. There are several ways for estimating load distribution.

In India, women make up roughly 50% of the population. In addition to their significance in the survival of the human race, women have played a crucial role in social structure by substantially contributing to socioeconomic advancement. Despite this, women had to face discrimination as a result of gender bias in social attitudes and behaviours that deny them equal status and opportunity in the social, economic, and political realms. The present research is done on the "Women Participation in Panchayati Raj Institution with special reference to Jamni Panchayat". Local Self-Governance is not a new concept in India. It has existed since the ancient period. Although it may vary in form and structure during different eras. Participation of women in Panchayati Raj Institution is not new. Women have participated in local self-governing institutions since ancient times. They have equal participation in these institutions, that is Sabha and Samiti. Women representatives are called Sabhavati. The condition of women in the Vedic period is very good. They are independent and also have the right to get an education. No evil customs are present at that time but in the later Vedic period the situation of women gets worsened and they are deprived of their rights. Now they have no rights and their participation in the political sphere decreases. Many evil customs against women have started the Sati system, veil system, child marriage, and polygamy. These evils further decline their role in the political field. Although some women from the elite class took part in the decision-making. But many social reformers work for the upliftment of women. Now again women have started to take participation in the political sphere. To increase women's participation in the political sphere Himachal Pradesh Government has given 50% reservation for women in Panchayati Raj Institution.

It is common knowledge that the principles of civil engineering have been disseminated around the globe. In addition, it has been rapidly spreading over the past few years. The idea of civil engineering is front and center in India's development efforts at the moment. As Civil Engineers, one of our responsibilities is to be able to study and design different components of buildings, such as beams, columns, slabs, and so on. Within the scope of this term project, STAAD. Pro is utilised for the research and design of a G+8 commercial building. STAAD. Pro and Pro are the two most well-known pieces of design software now on the market, and a large number of design companies make extensive use of them. The findings that were obtained via the process of designing a building utilizing the software are going to be presented as the primary emphasis of this study. As part of the design phase, you will need to calculate the load (including live load, dead load, and wild load), as well as examine the complete structure. Limit State Designs, which are in accordance with the Indian Standard Code of Practise, are the design methods that are applied while using both of these software packages. The basic objective of a structural engineer is to make use of available technology to build a structure that is not only secure but also economical, with the end goal of gaining the confidence to design structures that are progressively larger and more complicated. STAAD. Pro software comes equipped with a variety of capabilities, including a contemporary user interface, visualization tools, and more.

Jerrod Carmichael is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and filmmaker. He is most well known for co-creating and starring in the semi autobiographical NBC sitcom The Carmichael Show (2015-17) and for the three stand-up specials he has created for HBO - Love at the Store (2014), 8 (2017), and Rothaniel (2022). The Primetime Emmy Award winning Rothaniel serves as another entry into an era of stand-up comedy that acts as a vulnerable and brutally honest look into the comedian's psyche - with Bo Burnham's Inside (2021) and Hannah Gadsby's Nanette (2018) being other notable works of the said era. Rothaniel sees Carmichael drenched in the lights of an intimate setting in the legendary Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City, as he lets the audience indulge in the many secrets of his being - including a revelation about his own sexuality. This paper attempts to analyse the employment of the medium of stand-up comedy in the vulnerable expression of one's own identity and gender, examining Carmichael's anecdotes as a black homosexual man in America with reference to other works from contemporary cinema, music and comedy that discusses a similar zeitgeist.
