Mechanical ventilation associated with delirium is the most commonly reported repercussion in intensive care unit patients, characterized by hypoxia, inflammatory storm and sometimes due to sedatives. The most common types of delirium in this cohort patients are hypoactive and mixed-type of delirium which develops in 2-24 hours from admission. Delirium is known to develop due to an imbalance in the synthesis, release, and inactivation of some neurotransmitters, specifically by acetylcholine deficiency and dopamine activation. Delirium usually presents as a group of symptoms with an acute onset and a fluctuating course which have been categorized into cognitive and behavioral groups. This is a prospective observational cohort study conducted at Gleneagles Aware Global Hospitals, L.B Nagar, Hyderabad. for a study period of six months. 200 patients admitted with the hospitalization history of more than 24 hours in critical care units were enrolled as study population. Patient data collection form, contains the socio-demographic details of the patients and Observational study Informed Consent form was prepared for patients understanding for agreeing to participate in the study. In this study, out of the 200 study population 133 patients were not ventilated during the course of therapy in the ICU based on current disease state (66.5%) in which 25 developed mild, 22 developed moderate, 14 developed severe type of delirium and 72 were assessed to be non-delirious. Out of 67 ventilated patients based on current therapy in the ICU (33.5%), 8 developed mild, 13 developed moderate, 41 developed severe type of delirium and 5 were assessed to be non-delirious and from the P-value <0.0001, there is significant correlation between mechanical ventilation due to current disease status and development of delirium in ICU. Mechanically ventilated patients were assessed (92.5%) to be at greater risk of developing delirium compared to that are not ventilated. Ventilation is clinically significant (P-value <0.0001) when correlated to delirium, indicating ICU patients are at risk of developing delirium which is temporary within the ICU during the course of hospitalization (resolves with relevant patient orientated management).

The building industry has seen a shift towards energy efficiency in last few decades. This shift in combination with requirements of aesthetics, low cost, easy installation, and low maintenance have resulted in the use of claddings (such as ACP) and ventilated (rainscreen) faade system. It is evident from recent fire events globally that vertical spread of fire through these claddings and facades can be extremely rapid leading to insignificant time for evacuation, ultimately to loss of lives and property. There has been considerable research on the topic. However, the available knowledge is not being implemented and there is insignificant work regarding codes and regulations in many counties. Indian building industry has outgrown in last few decades with many high-rise buildings coming-up and Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) has become a popular material for cladding. Production and use of ACP is increasing in an unregulated manner. Furthermore, Indian climate has promoted the use of ventilated faade in many of its cities, which in combination with the ACP can intensify the rapid vertical spread of fire in high-rise buildings. All of these presents sufficient fire risks in near future, which must be considered. This paper examines the sufficiency of Indian building codes and regulations to tackle the issue and presents its comparative analysis with codes and standards of other countries (UK, UAE, Australia, and International Building Code) where regulatory changes and code modifications have been carried out regarding flammable facades and cladding. The paper ultimately presents a set of suggestive guidelines that can address the issue in India. The guidelines have been drafted on the basis opinion, comment and suggestion of experts from Bureau of Indian Standards, fire committee of National Building Code of India, fire safety service consultant, academic experts involved in similar research in the form of semi-structured interview. The guidelines also incorporate learnings taken from review of other codes.

The optimal allocation of resources to different project tasks involving different and usually conflicting objectives is one of the recurring challenges for a project manager. The main aim of this research is to optimize the time and cost of a project by analyzing their trade-off. Time cost optimization is one of the main obstacles in project scheduling. This paper proposes a new approach for time cost optimization with fuzzy logic in MATLAB. The project direct cost is altered by difference in resource utilization and Activity duration. The proposed model is formulated using fuzzy theory combining CPM computations, time-cost trade off analysis. By adopting the MATLAB software for ranking process, for each case facilitates obtaining the optimum result. Therefore, through this process now the decision-maker can quite precisely estimate the effect of the project deadline on a total project cost before the submission of a tender. The advantages of the proposed approach are demonstrated through an application example and with an example of the time-cost trade-off analysis.

The main aim of the project is to alleviate the water problems by using self-curing concrete. In this project the attempt has been made by the intention of developing the self-curing concrete by using Polyethylene glycol 400 & replace conventional steel by steel fiber. Because when we think about the use of conventional steel it requires more time for construction & skilled labor to apply reinforcement. Also, quantity of conventional steel required is more so, cost of construction of material also gets increases. Hence in order to reduce the labor cost we can replace conventional steel to steel fiber, because it is easy & quicker to apply so it can save time & cost of labor. This have a look at deals use of PEG-400 in concrete with 1% of metallic fiber by means of varying percent of 0%,0.5%,0.75%,1% and 1.25% by weight of cement for M30 mix. The concrete is examined to discover the mechanical properties for 7 days, 14 days & 28 days.

Abstract : Parkway snag location is one of the most testing task continuously for self-sufficient vehicle route System. In India the majority of the individuals are died in street mishaps as opposed to by illnesses. As indicated by an overview close about 45% of people are kicked the bucket in street mishaps in a year. Vehicle crash shirking and snag location framework is one in all the chief basic factors inside the car drove. Inside the present, the greater part of the vehicles empower a ready framework which goes about as a security include for the travelers. During this work, propelled the route framework distinguishes and demonstrates the thing is utilized in self-governing vehicles to sufficiently explore through the path in haze. This method distinguishes the hindrance before of the vehicle, cautions the framework. The camera is utilized to distinguish moving or fixed articles. The LIDAR is encased with this method to registering the space of constant moving and thusly the fixed article. The most work adds to the discovery of obstructions sooner than the vehicle. The caution is given to the framework inside the vehicle with respect to the obstruction before all together that the framework helps in impact evasion. During this work, the space between the vehicle and hindrance is estimated by the LIDAR and article identification is finished by the camera. By melding both these sensor esteems the snag is identified and subsequently the separation is furthermore precisely estimated.

Now a days, everyone is familiar with smartphones including farmers. Mobile phones play indispensable role in daily life of people. Use of traditional methods in farming results slow progress. People can see the advantages of using better approaches to cultivate the crops with the tools and technologies that supports farming are yet to move into agricultural field. Farmers are mainly not aware about the technical advancements in farming and also they are unable to know the rates of the crops and their products they sell. There are also many schemes for farmers which are not known to them. With the emergence of mobile phones and Internet, there is a high potential for giving essential information via this means. Hence, an Android application-AGRIO APP is designed to provide a solution to these problems. We are creating a platform for users which is considered either as a farmer or a customer who uses a smartphone through which they can get the updated rates of crops so that they can buy and sell their products at a rates. This application will have features such as, all the farming related information from the experts and necessary information about different schemes. It also provides a platform to sell crops on profits without marketing, finding the current market rate of crops, identifying the climate conditions, understanding the new methods and showing latest news and information from agricultural authority.

Traditional analog hearing aids is same as simple radio. They can be calibrated and adjusted for volume, bass and treble. But hearing loss is not just a technical loss of volume. Rather, hearing scantiness can intensify sensitivity and reduce tolerance to certain sounds while diminishing sensitivity to others. For instance, digital technology can tell the difference between speech and background noise, permitting one in while filtering out the other. More or less 10% of the world's population suffers from some type of hearing loss, yet only a small percentage of this statistic use a hearing aid. The stigma connected with wearing a hearing aid, customer disappointment with hearing aid performance, and the cost related with a high-performance solution are all causes of low market penetration. Through the use of digital signal processing, digital hearing aid now gives what the analog hearing aid cannot give. It suggests the possibility of performing signal-to noises strengthen, pliable gain-processing, digital feedback reduction, etc. In this paper, the simulation of simple digital hearing aid was developed using MATLAB programming language. The implementation of this configurable digital hearing aid system includes the noise reduction filter, frequency shaper function, and amplitude compacting function. This digital hearing aid system is design to adapt for mild and moderate hearing loss patient since different gain can be set to map different levels of hearing loss.

This project includes the designing of 16-Bit RISC processor and modeling of its components using Verilog HDL. The processor is based on Harvard architecture. The instruction set adopted here is extremely simple that gives an insight into the kind of hardware which should be able to execute the set of instructions properly. Along with sequential and combinational building blocks of a processor such as adders and registers more complex blocks such as ALU and memories have been designed and simulated. The modeling of ALU which has been done in this project is fully structural starting from half adders. At the end the semi-custom layout has been developed for ALU. Complex blocks such as memories have been modeled using behavioral approach, whereas simple blocks such as adders have been done through structural approach. The tools which have been used throughout the project work are ModelSim and Intel Quartus prime 18.1. For synthesis purpose the targeted FPGA device technology is ALTERA.

Identity is the recognition of a person, of his work and his presence by his beliefs, personality, looks and expressions. Everyone knowingly or unknowingly posses these qualities and define them. Most humans are the replica of someone else opinion, thoughts and ideas, failing to recognize their own self. This condition is apparent in many women though knowledgeable and multifaceted, hesitate to express their inner self due to lack of confidence and fear the society. Its high time to concede their need, talent and believe they are the better half of the family as well as the society. Competing and co-working with men in all field has become mandatory for todays women, she must learn to face the challenging roles with gracefulness, confidence and respect her own identity, which is mandatory in the present Era.

Detecting and tracking objects are among the most prevalent and challenging tasks that a surveillance system has to accomplish in order to determine meaningful events and suspicious activities, and automatically annotate and retrieve video content. Detection can be achieved by building a representation of the scene, frame difference is the method we use for background subtraction ,frame differencing is the intensity dissimilarity between two frames assuming that intensity change of a pixel apparently indicate something changing in the image, that is a moving object. It simply subtracts the current image from the previous or a reference image. After the detection, it is then the trackers task to perform find its correspondence in the following frames while constructing objects trajectory. Here we use kalman filter to do the tracking of the objects. Thus in this way we can be able to detect and track the movable objects in a video.
