 Abstract

Natural colors are being explored as an "eco-solution" to the problems posed by synthetic dyes. To pander to the environmentally conscious consumer, Indian textile exporters have embraced the use of natural dyes. The standardization of extraction and application techniques for natural color has emerged as an intriguing area of contemporary scientific research. Considering this propensity, it is vital to ensure that natural dyes are ecologically sound. Current work investigates the environmental friendliness of natural dyes encompassing walnut and pomegranate. To establish the eco-friendliness of natural dyes, the test results were compared to the set eco-parameters. In certain instances, the metal toxicity in wastewater effluent and eradication of the assessed toxicity employing a low-cost natural material (Azadirachta indica and Ocimum tenuiflorum) was additionally examined. It is worth noting that the usage of dried leaves of Azadirachta indica (Neem) and Ocimum tenuiflorum (Tulsi) in considerable quantities may substantially decrease Cu and Cr metal toxicity.

 Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) among employees, specifically focusing on online and offline workers. The sample consisted of 120 employees working in Delhi-NCR. Data was collected using the job satisfaction scale by Singh and Sharma and the organizational citizenship behaviour checklist by Suzy Fox and Paul E. Spector. The data analysis involved Pearson correlation and t-test. The findings revealed a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and OCB. Furthermore, there was no significant difference in job satisfaction between online and offline employees, while a significant difference was observed in OCB between the two modes of work. These results indicate that higher job satisfaction among employees is associated with increased OCB, which contributes to a positive organizational climate and culture.

 Abstract

Informed consent has become the primary paradigm for protecting the legal rights of patients and guiding the ethical practice of medicine. It may be used for legal, ethical or administrative purposes. Although legal and ethical debate persists, but it is agreed that it has implication on the decision-making and the physician should disclose sufficient details for the decision-maker to make an informed choice; the decision-maker should show his or her understanding of the disclosed information; and the decision-maker should freely authorize the treatment plan. A retrospective study of informed consent of 20 cases, operated for different neurosurgical diseases was carried out in department of Neurosurgery, SGPGIMS within 05 months in year 2022 (from January to May, 2022). Total 221 possible issues of complications & sequalae were covered in 20 cases. Out of 221 issues 18 were taken for recurrence of tumors, during fallow up, 15 complications occurred preoperatively out of 221expected complications covered in informed consent. In present study the informed consent of relatives /kin of the patient to be operated was taken in each case, however, patients who were fully conscious and oriented or having spinal pathologies were involved in an informed consent. Their signatures were also taken fallowing explaining the risks and benefits to each case depending on disease of individual case. The consents were recorded by resident doctor as the concerned resident always discussed the case with operating surgeon during rounds and a day prior to surgery. The points to be covered in consent of individual patients were also discussed with operating surgeon. Neurosurgeons have a duty to provide patients with all pertinent information related to disease and operation to be performed in particular case to allow them to make decisions about their case. The alternative and possible interventions available to improve an outcome of disease should be included informed consent. Emergency decisions on table can be taken by operating surgeon depending on severity of problem. Adequate consent offers enough safety to patients and surgeon both.

 Abstract

Due to its smaller key sizes and quicker computations when compared to conventional public key cryptography algorithms, ECC is a subset of public key cryptography that has grown in popularity. The paper investigates the foundations of ECC. The article also covers several popular ECC algorithms. With the help of the Elliptic Curve Cryptography algorithm, this work aims to provide security services like confidentiality for cloud services. Because of its benefits in terms of smaller key sizes, less CPU time, and less memory usage, it should be used for data encryption rather than the well-known and widely used RSA algorithm. This survey paper provides an overview of the key concepts and applications of (ECC).

 Abstract

This paper presents a garbage classification system that uses Python, YOLOv8, and OpenCV to detect whether garbage is wet, dry, metal, or plastic through a webcam. The model is trained on a dataset of labeled images and uses transfer learning to improve its accuracy. Additionally, the system includes a feature that allows users to take images of garbage and classify them using the model. The system also includes an Arduino Uno microcontroller and a servo motor that opens the appropriate bin based on the classification output. The level of garbage can also be detected, and the data is stored in a firebase. Flask App would give the option as to garbage should be classified via image or webcam. This system could be used in waste management systems and smart cities to improve garbage sorting and reduce environmental impact.

 Abstract

In petrochemical industry, accidental explosion can be produced, as it handles hydrocarbons and other fuels in the process plant. The occurrences of such incidents are minimum due to proper planning and design of process plants. In spite of such incidents are relatively rare, if they occur, consequences can be extremely severe, in terms of personnel casualty, financial loss and public safety. In the view of such type of fatalities, plant buildings are need to design, to withstand explosion effects, to protect people inside it, so that building could not pose an added hazards to its occupants. Most of the companies in the industry, consider blast resistance for critical buildings like Control Room, to minimize impact of explosion on plant operation, even if unoccupied. In this paper, dynamic analysis has been performed using single degree of freedom (SDOF) method for RC control room building, considering 200 mbar blast design pressure and 200 ms time duration.

 Abstract

Pilomatrixoma is a benign neoplasm. It originates from the matrix cells of hair follicles. It is also called as pilomatricoma or calcifying epithelioma of Malherbe. It is typically found in the upper extremities and head and neck region. It is rarely occurs elsewhere in the body. Nearly 60% of tumours are found in individuals who are less than 20 years of age. In literature the largest case series was done with 346 pilomatricomas of which 15.3 percent were observed in the upper extremity. It is rare to find pilomatricomas over the abdomen, and we present one such case.

 Abstract

Considering a nation where agriculture is still a dominant occupation and traditional farming methods are still in practice, thereby giving limited crop yields to the farmer which ultimately is less beneficial to the farmers compared to the inputs given by them. Hence, in order to maximize the yields of crops for given input, we are showcasing dif erent methods which will be useful to develop a recommendation system for smart farming. The proposed system of IoT and ML is enabled for soil testing using the sensors, is based on measuring and observing soil parameters. This system lowers the probability of soil degradation and helps maintain crop health. Present-day recommendations are based on farmers' communication between farmers, experts and various experts have a variety of recommendations. Recommendation can be provided to farmers who use past agricultural activities data. The application provides recommendations to farmers to determine the appropriate fertilizer and crop. This application can be used to increase crop yield and also recommend suitable crops.

 Abstract

This study has been undertaken to enhance the existing documentation of Mashru weaving by identifying the existing bottlenecks that are associated with the craft practiced by the weavers in Patan, Gujarat. Due to the lack of a proper value chain system and market channels, the artisans struggle to reach their end customers. The declining incentives and the communal nature of the craft have led to a shortage of skilled labor. This study aims to address these issues and provide relevant suggestions to overcome these challenges. Primary Research is conducted by visiting the cluster. Business frame work is studied by understanding the current Business Model followed by the artisans. A road map is made by proposing a better Business Model. Furthermore, all the objectives explained in detail by proposing a strategy for each objective. The Mashru craft entails great potential which if harnessed properly can yield great results taking the Indian craft story to a higher platform.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are injuries that affect the musculoskeletal system of the human body. The purpose of this review was to review the literature on musculoskeletal disorders and analyze the results of autogenic inhibition techniques in various musculoskeletal disorders from published articles. Online search engines such as Pub Med, Google Scholar, Science Direct, and PEDro were searched. There were no restrictions on the data applied to review articles. Thirty-four papers were selected for the term autogenic inhibition technique used. Data were tabulated by study type, number of study participants, disease treated, treatment administered, outcome measure, and outcome. This literature review resulted in mixed responses to the results of autogenic inhibition techniques. These contrasting results demonstrate the need for future research. This will help researchers to conduct randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of autonomic suppression and further develop protocols to improve the need for better interpretation and evidence-based information.

 Abstract

Abstract: Biological variations exist among human individuals as well as among groups of individuals at various levels. The existence of genetic variations in populations leads to evolution because there is natural selection favouring organisms that are best adapted to the environment. The present investigation was planned on Meos and Sunni Muslims of Haryana because instances of close inbreeding were observed among them. Individuals were studied for Colour-blindness trait by using Ishihara chart (1960). Five colour blind individuals were encountered during the study. No colour blind female was observed in both the endogamous groups. Chi-square values of homogeneity with respect to intercaste differences between Meos and Sunni Muslims were found to be non-significant.

 Abstract

The diagnosis of autoimmune diseases faces various obstacles at present. The diverse nature of autoimmune disorders and the overlap of symptoms create difficulties in identifying a specific condition. Furthermore, the absence of distinct biomarkers that are unique to each disease adds complexity to the diagnostic procedure, resulting in delays and potential misclassification. While considering the diagnosis challenge, Polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based methods have emerged as powerful tools in the diagnosis and monitoring of autoimmune diseases. This review aims to outline the recent advancements in PCR-based techniques and their applications in autoimmune disease diagnosis and monitoring. By leveraging PCR, researchers and clinicians have made substantial progress in improving the understanding, early detection, and differentiation of autoimmune disorders, thereby enhancing patient care and outcomes. PCR-based approaches have revolutionized the diagnosis and monitoring of autoimmune diseases, providing valuable insights into disease pathogenesis, patient stratification, and treatment efficacy. Continued advancements in PCR technologies hold great promise for improving the accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility of autoimmune disease diagnostics, ultimately leading to personalized and targeted therapeutic interventions.

 Abstract

This paper analyzes the A.C.T.I.V.E. Matrix, a community-led product management system. The A.C.T.I.V.E. Matrix emphasizes Aligning Goals, Co-creation, Transparent Communication, Inclusive Collaboration, Value-driven Decision Making, and Empowering Ownership. A comprehensive literature study shows that standard product management strategies typically overlook user communities' value. The A.C.T.I.V.E. Matrix is a paradigm change in community insights, co-creation, and inclusive collaboration. The paper uses a rigorous literature assessment and thematic analysis of existing research on the A.C.T.I.V.E. Matrix and similar frameworks. The Matrix may alter interaction and co-creation, promote diversity and inclusivity, and align with community needs, as discussed. However, issues including product and consumer segment applicability and organizational culture change are highlighted. The A.C.T.I.V.E. Matrix helps organizations exploit user communities despite these challenges. It makes product management more engaging, value-driven, and inclusive, resulting in products that truly resonate with users.
