 Abstract

The present research paper deals with in vitro screening of antifungal activity in leaf and stem of Eleagnus latifolia L. in methanol extract .The extract was prepared in methanol solvent using Soxhlet's apparatus .The activity measured by well diffusion method , using test fungi such an Aspergillus niger, Colletotrichum sp., Dreschler avenaceum, Fusarium oxysporium and Trichoderma viride. These test fungi were found to be sensitive to crude extract of leaf and stem of Elaeagnus latifolia L. as compared to control methanol solvent. A maximum zone of inhibition was recorded against Fusarium oxysporium and Colletotrichum sp., in methanol leaf extract, where as Fusarium oxysporium and Dreschler avenaceum recorded maximum zone of inhibition in methanol stem extract. This indicates methanol extract of leaf and stem possess a good amount of antifungal properties.

 Abstract

Every day, women, young girls, mothers and women from all walks of life are struggling to be safe and protect themselves from the roving gaze of horribly insensitive men who molest, assault and violate the dignity of women on a daily basis. The streets, public transport, public places in particular have become the domain of the hunters. Due to these atrocities that women are subjected to in the present scenario. A smart security device for women based on the internet of things is proposed. In this project, an Embedded Real time video monitoring system is designed, in which the embedded chip and the programming techniques are used. The central monitor which adopts Raspberry pi is the core of the whole system. Real time video transmission is widely used in surveillance, conferencing, media broadcasting and applications that include remote assistance. First, USB camera video data are collected by the embedded Linux system. All data are processed, compressed and transferred by the processing chip. Then, video data is uploaded to the cloud by wireless network. The live video streaming is performed using the web camera and live location is achieved by GPS module. This embedded monitoring system overcomes the weak points of the traditional video surveillance systems, such as complex structure, poor stability, and expensive cost. It can be widely used in many fields, and also used for long distance transmission. The next generation of surveillance will be able to annotate video and coordinate the tracking of objects with multiplexing hundreds of video streams. Video surveillance has evolved over the years and is a vital tool for safety. It was initially dominated by the camera with coaxial cable and they connected using coax cables. There is a digital type of switching and IP based data delivery. They can capture a wide area so, the camera here we are using an Omni directional camera or mobile camera can also be used. Raspberry Pi used for core control, camera for capturing the video, GPS to track the live location and user phone or laptop connected to Wi-Fi to receive the live streaming videos.

Barium Y-type hexaferrite BaAl2Fe12O22 powders have been synthesized by using chemical co-precipitation method calcinated at temperatures 1000? and 1100? for 4 hrs and 6 hrs. The samples were characterized by XRD and SEM to analyze its morphology, its electrical behavior and VSM characterization has been done to study the magnetic properties. Experimental result shows that calcination temperatures ranging from 1000? and 1100? for 4 hrs and 6 hrs will not affect significantly on change in the phase formation. Slight modifications in the values of lattice parameter, electrical behavior and magnetic properties have been observed. DC conductivity and electrical permittivity has been observed decreasing trend with the decrease in temperature which shows phase reversal of hexaferrites at particular temperature of Ba-Y-type hexaferrite. Curie temperature increases with different calcination temperature for 4 hrs and 6 hrs due to strong superexchange interaction. The change in magnetic parameters results in possible use of substituted ferrite for recording media, permanent magnets etc.Barium Y-type hexaferrite BaAl2Fe12O22 powders have been synthesized by using chemical co-precipitation method calcinated at temperatures 1000? and 1100? for 4 hrs and 6 hrs.  Abstract

This comparative study examines the characterization of the iconic fairy tale character Snow White in three selected film adaptations: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Snow White and the Huntsman, and Mirror Mirror. Through a close analysis of these adaptations, the study explores how each film portrays Snow White's character, highlighting how her representation has evolved. Employing a feminist lens, this research examines the depiction of Snow White in each film through the framework of gender representation, agency, and empowerment. It explores how the adaptations challenge or reinforce traditional gender roles and stereotypes, and investigates the extent to which Snow White is presented as a multifaceted and independent character. The findings of this study contribute to the existing body of research on fairy tale adaptations and feminist readings of female characters in the film. By analyzing these particular adaptations of Snow White, the research sheds light on the changing cultural attitudes towards gender and women's roles, providing insights into the complex interplay between popular media and societal norms. Overall, this comparative study aims to deepen our understanding of the portrayal of Snow White in film, revealing the nuances and variations in her characterization and offering a critical analysis from a feminist perspective.

 Abstract

The menopausal transition marks a time of great variability in reproductive hormones, and this variability can be responsible for specific symptoms, such as hot flashes and mood disturbances. Once a woman who is more than 45 years old has gone for 12 months without a menstrual period, she is considered to be menopausal and has consistently low circulating estradiol and elevated gonadotropins. Estrogen is the most efficacious therapy for bothersome vasomotor symptoms. Although estrogen exerts clear-cut protective effects on the cardiovascular system in premenopausal women, medical evidence does not support its use for the prevention of cardiovascular disease soy protein and isoflavones contained in soy foods can improve muscle and bone density quality and reduce body weight. It is considered a breakthrough in preventing osteosarcopenia and obesity that may occur after menopause. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is an oxidative state resulting in ovarian dysfunction. Licorice is one of the natural antioxidants used for the treatment of infertility. Present review of the plants showed a wide range of pharmacological activity in anxiolytic relax the clinical disease, such as anti-inflammatory, anxiety and antioxidant. In addition, Passiflora incarnata L. affects menopause symptoms such as vasomotor symptoms, insomnia, and depression The researchers concluded sesame ingestion benefits postmenopausal women by improving blood lipids, antioxidant status, and possibly sex hormone status Fenugreek seeds (which are rich in phytoestrogens) may be the alternative strategy to treat the above mentioned menopause induced deficits. This study was designed to evaluate the role of Fenugreek seed extract on menopause induced impaired memory and hippocampal damage using ovariectomized rat model.

 Abstract

Ritu means season in Sanskrit, while Sandhi denotes the meeting of two things. This means that Ritusandhi is the meeting point of two Ritu. The first goal of Ayurveda is "Swasthyarakshan," or health maintenance. To achieve this goal, the great Trio provides regimens for different seasons as well as day-to-day living. There are separate chapters on Dincharya and Ritucharya. Ritu is a season. The year is divided into two halves in Ayurveda literature: Uttarayana and Dakshinayana. Each Ayana is further subdivided into three Ritu. As a result, there are a total of six Rituare in one year. Different foods and practises are recommended for each Ritu. Vagbhatta describes Ritusandhi towards the end of Ritucharya. Ritu Sandhi is a moment when the seasons collide. Ritusandhi lasts one week in the previous season and one week in the next season. This review article discusses the significance of Ritu and Ritusandhi in today's world. This is a review of Samhitokta Ritu and Ritusandhi. This review essay discusses the significance of Ritu and Ritusandhi in the current context. References and pertinent information are obtained from Ayurveda literature, the internet and research publications. distinct Ritu have distinct environmental circumstances. These diseases have an immediate impact on the human body.

Several transdermal therapeutic methods have been developed for topical application onto the intact skin surface to manage drug distribution and its subsequent penetration through the skin tissue in order to offer continuous medication infusion via an intact skin. A viable alternative to systemic medication delivery is transdermal method. The ethanolic phospholipid vesicles known as "ethosomes" are employed mostly for transdermal medication administration. Since ethosomes penetrate the skin more quickly than liposomes do, they can often be utilised in place of liposomes. Due to their enhanced skin penetration, improved drug delivery, greater drug entrapment efficiency, etc., ethosomes have attracted researchers' attention.

 Abstract

Tulsi drop preparations containing extracts of various Ocimum species are available in the market. These are extensively used for their immunomodulatory properties. Eugenol is one of the active biomarkers of Ocimum species. In the current study content of eugenol in three marketed Tulsi drop preparations was determined using a simple UV spectrophotometric method. The linear regression equation y = 0.0235x + 0.0065 was used to determine the amount of eugenol at 282 nm. Different Tulsi drop preparations were found to have variable content of eugenol.

 Abstract

Aquaculture faces tremendous problems because water quality changes because of variation in environmental conditions. Estimate water characteristics such as pH, humidity, temperature and others, as fluctuations in these values are critical for aquatic life. At present, water parameters are detected by a chemical tester at the laboratories. As a result, it is a time-consuming manual method with a tiresome process. The quality of water should be monitored in real-time for that purpose Arduino based water quality monitoring has been proposed. The measured values from the sensors are processed by a microcontroller and various control signals are given to maintain the best water parameters for the fish life. Then the measured values are given to the user's mobile app through the cloud. This system ensures there is perfect living qualities in water for fishes and maintains it by controlling the water parameters.

 Abstract

An AUV is a robot designed specifically to operate in water without the need for human intervention. AUVs are a subset of the wider category of underwater devices known as UUVs. High hydrostatic pressures can cause the buckling collapse of an autonomous underwater vehicle's (AUV) typically cylindrical shell construction before yield stress failure. Welded stiffeners boost buckling resistance in larger submarines but lower internal volume and generate residual strains in smaller AUVs. By proposing the use of sliding stiffeners as part of the frame used to house the electronics inside the vessel, this study aims to offer a novel approach for the structural design of an AUV pressure vessel. The pressure vessel for an AUV was designed in catia and analyzed in Ansys; the material used was sand-which beams.Four total cases were used in this study. CASE 1: 2mm Steel + 2mm Rubber +2mm Steel. CASE 2: 2.5mm Steel + 1mm Rubber +2.5mm Steel.CASE 3 :2mm Ti64Al + 2mm Rubber +2mm Ti64Al.CASE 4 : 2.5mm Ti64Al + 1mm Rubber +2.5mm Ti64Al.The results of the static study of the stresses, strains, deformations, and shear stresses in a pressure vessel led to the following conclusion: Find the modes in modal analysis by looking at Deformation as a Function of Frequency
