 Abstract

Abstract Background Tennis leg usually results from a tear of the medial head of gastrocnemius muscle. Tennis leg is caused when partial tear of gastrocnemius muscle happens because of sudden stretching of knee simultaneously with forceful dorsiflexion resulting in disruption of the fibers in aponeurosis. The gastrocnemius muscle is the third most strained muscle among the sports person. Shearing pain and swelling in the calf, the pain aggravates as the foot is passively moved into dorsiflexion and sometimes the player complains of hearing a "pop" sound, Weight bearing is painful on the affected leg and tenderness on touching the calf. Tennis leg is mostly seen in people who are involved in racquet sport, running, skiing and jumping but it was first seen in tennis player in 1883 by Powell, hence the name tennis leg was given. Need for the study The need of this study is to find whether the myofascial release in the treatment of tennis leg represents an effective option in reducing pain, disability and increase range of motion. METHODS: Cochrane library, Google scholar and PubMed were searched. There were no restrictions on the data applied to review articles. Data were tabulated by study design, outcome measures and the results obtained were arranged in a chronological order. Results: - Of the 10 articles, 3 articles shows that the myofascial release is more beneficial than other treatments in increasing the range of motion. 1 article showed that there is mixed result in both quality and quantity.3 articles showed improvement in stiffness with foam roller. 3 articles showed that in tennis leg the medial gastrocnemius is more involved. Conclusion: - After, a detail review of literature it is been observed that myofascial release treatment, are commonly done in gastrocnemius stiffness.so, after reviewing the literature feels like further studies should be done to give accurate statement

 Abstract

In South Africa, Nadine Gordimer's The Lying Days is a coming-of-age novel. It is where characters of Gordimer come to existence and find out the sector around them. The tale is told with many nuanced strokes, and every minute thought is picked over. All threads of emotions are freed to depart every negation clear. The unconventional does deliver out rather magnificently, Gordimer's impressive sensing into the remarkable moments of numerous human interactions. The entire novel is subtly political, where the novelist exposes the horrors of apartheid. It is visible that the racial superstructure presents a simple contradiction to the concept of liberalism. The apartheid nation becomes capable of keeping the Black population in its grip. The whole work concentrates on the effect of apartheid on the lives of all South Africans. The novelist intimately diagnoses the Black conflict even in her personal existence. Her writing unveils preconceptions, tensions, traces of lifestyles and vitriolic results of the existing apartheid system. Regardless of several flaws and ambiguities in its motive, the radical nonetheless come s out as a cultured and ideological declaration. This article not only establishes Gordimer as a South African novelist, who delves deep into the politics of Black and White but how the novelist expresses her sense of belonging through personal exploration.

 Abstract

Technology like law is neutral it is what you make of it. AI Sentencing is the recent development which is taking place in the working of judiciary. Technology is making life easy and on other hand it can also infringe rights of public. Technology is something which has potential to risk equality among people. The implementation of AI in case of sentencing is infringing basic human rights. The human judgment was considered to be very beneficial for the judicial system. If the underlying data is prejudiced in any way, there is a chance that unjust biases and structural inequities would not only be duplicated but also magnified. AI is good for the economic growth and social good of the country. The Indian courts have started the pilot study related to the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the courts for the delivery of justice; there is a lot of pendency of cases in which requirement of technology like Artificial Intelligence is necessary. The usage of technology as always has something good in it but a lot of backdrop too. The decision made AI lacks in transparency it is black boxed algorithm this means that the access to it is only restricted to the owner. In this paper we will be talking about how Artificial Intelligence is being embedded in the judicial system and also we will discuss and criticize as to whether sentencing on basis of AI will be helpful for people or will it violate rights of public and may create chaos among society.

 Abstract

The most prevalent chronic metabolic bone disease, osteoporosis is characterised by increasing bone fragility and is linked to several events, including menopause and ageing. Although it affects people of all ages, genders, and ethnicities, it is more prevalent in Caucasians (white people), the elderly, and females. Osteoporosis is spreading over the world at an alarming rate because to an ageing population and increased life expectancies. According to estimates, osteoporosis affects more than 200 million people worldwide at the moment. The International Osteoporosis Foundation has released statistics showing that 1 in 3 women over 50 and 1 in 5 men may have an osteoporotic fracture during their lifetimes. Every fracture is an indication of an upcoming one. until there are clinical signs of osteoporosis.

 Abstract

Abstract Mortal Resource Management( HRM) is the term used to describe formal systems cooked for the operation of people within an association. The liabilities of a mortal resource director fall into three major areas staffing, hand compensation and benefits, and defining designing work. Basically, the purpose of HRM is to maximize the productivity of an association by optimizing the effectiveness of its workers. This accreditation is doubtful to change in any abecedarian way, despite the ever- adding pace of change in the business world. As EdwardL. Gubman observed in the Journal of Business Strategy," the introductory charge of mortal coffers will always be to acquire, develop, and retain gift; align the pool with the business; and be an excellent contributor to the business. Those three challenges will noway change." Human Resource Management can be a challenge for small business especially, which generally don't have an HR department to calculate on. They may be limited to one HR person, or this responsibility may still belong to the CEO. Anyhow, small business possessors need to understand the challenges in order to face them so that they're set to attack HR issues as their company, and pool, grows. This paper aims at studying the challenges in HRM, to suggest measures to overcome the challenges and punctuate the arising challenges in HRM.

 Abstract

This work is completed to study the dielectric characteristics of blend of rice bran and sunflower oil. The unprocessed oil composition of 4:1 ratio of rice bran oil and sunflower oil is filtered using filter paper. The oil is heated to remove air bubbles and to remove impurities. Breakdown voltage test is conducted to check the breakdown voltage of the mixed oil using BDV kit. Tan delta test is performed by applying ac voltage to a test cell of known gap measuring the total current flow through the oil and separating and comparing the reactive and resistance portion of the current passing through the oil. The volume resistivity and dielectric constant of the oil is measured using Tan delta test. Dielectric test alone cannot determine the strength of the insulator oil hence an impulse test is performed to determine the ability of insulation to withstand transient voltages. In the AC breakdown study, RBO has the highest breakdown voltage for both test setups. PO is the second-best in AC breakdown voltage while MO shows the lowest breakdown voltage among oil samples. The percentage difference between using BAUR oil tester and BHT AC generator setup is between 4% and 10% at a 2.5 mm gap distance which is comparable for both types of equipment. For various gap distances studies, the breakdown voltage is increased with the increase of gap distance between the electrodes, for all oil samples. The Weibull distribution of MO, PO and RBO has well fitted with the fitting line of AC breakdown data. From the Weibull distribution, the empirical withstand voltages equations with gap distances of PO and RBO are derived.

 Abstract

Atropine, a naturally occurring alkaloid derived from plants of the nightshade family, is commonly used in the treatment of various conditions such as organophosphate poisoning, mydriasis induction, and pre-medication for anaesthesia. While atropine is generally safe, its administration can lead to rare allergic or toxic reactions. We present a case of atropine-induced psychosis in a 29-year-old male patient who accidentally consumed an organophosphate compound, allegedly due to dispute with his spouse. The patient presented with excessive salivation and altered sensorium, and subsequently experienced vomiting and altered consciousness. Immediate medical attention was sought, and the patient was intubated for respiratory support. In the intensive care unit, the patient received decontamination procedures and mechanical ventilation to manage respiratory distress. Laboratory tests revealed features consistent with organophosphate poisoning, including relative neurocytosis and increased serum cholinesterase levels. Supportive care was initiated with intravenous fluids and oxygen therapy, while continuous monitoring of vital signs, glucose levels, and symptoms of cholinergic excess (SLUDGE) was conducted. Atropine was administered at a rate of 5 ml/hour to maintain the pulse rate, and intravenous pralidoxime (PAM) was given as an antidote. On the following day, the patient developed symptoms of atropine-induced psychosis, including disorientation, agitation, dilated pupils, tachycardia, and decreased urination with blood contents, muscle twitches, jerks, and delirium. The patient's condition was managed by gradually tapering the atropine dose and discontinuing it after signs of complete atropinisation. Medications such as midazolam and vecuronium were administered to relieve agitation and anxiety, while haloperidol was given for managing psychiatric effects. Prophylactic treatment with antiulcerants and antibiotics was also administered. Atropine was completely stopped on the tenth day, and the patient was discharged in a stable condition. Atropine remains the mainstay for pharmacological management of organophosphate poisoning, with dosage adjustments made to maintain vital signs and prevent respiratory complications. Toxic reactions to atropine can occur due to its anticholinergic effects, leading to various peripheral and central manifestations. Adverse effects are dose-dependent and usually reversible upon discontinuation of therapy. Understanding the potential toxic effects and idiosyncratic reactions to atropine is crucial for appropriate management in cases of poisoning.  Abstract

Agriculture is basis of Indian economy. There is lot of scope for research in the field of Rice and Wheat to increase production. This field faces problems such as how to minimize the losses, how to increase the productivity and how to minimize the cost of production. In India, two types of agricultural methods are used: manual method (conventional method) and mechanized type method. Mechanization involves the use of a hybrid device between the power source and the work. The main aim of the project is to design and develop multipurpose agricultural vehicle for performing major agricultural operations like ploughing and seeding. The modification includes fabricating a vehicle which is small and compact in size. It can be concluded that the designed chassis of the vehicle performed well during the operations in the field while taking into consideration the cost factor.

 Abstract

One of the most popular drug delivery methods is oral since it is less expensive, simpler to administer, and results in improved patient compliance. This delivery system's primary issue is incorrect medication absorption, which results in subpar efficacy. The drug's lower bioavailability is caused by its limited therapeutic absorption window, which prevents it from being absorbed at the absorption site for long enough. Intimate contact between the drug delivery system and the absorbing stomach mucosal membrane is provided by gastroretentive drug delivery systems, which enhances the therapeutic effectiveness of the drug and can extend the time between doses. The goal of the current work study was to create gastroretentive mucoadhesive amoxicillin microspheres using the spray drying method. These microspheres adhere to the gastric mucosa and release the medication over a longer period of time, reducing fluctuations in drug concentration and requiring lower doses and less frequent dosing. It can be said that Box-Behnken design was successfully used in the creation and improvement of mucoadhesive microspheres of amoxicillin. The carbopol 971P, HPMC K15M, and spray drying techniques were used to create the gastroretentive mucoadhesive microspheres of amoxicillin that can be administered in sachet packaging. With mucoadhesion of 82% up to 6 hours, the mucoadhesive microspheres created in the present investigations demonstrated consistent drug release over 8 hours.

 Abstract

Abstract: A country dependent on energy resources for its economic growth, with ambitions of becoming an energy superpower, Russia aims to move towards a sustainable future. However drunk with its past glory of having a superpower status, its unsolved geographical and historical disputes with the former Soviet Republics and the ideological tussle with the West, it becomes difficult for Russia to fulfil its sustainable economic development goals. On the one hand, Russia seeks to stabilize its economy through its energy resources, on the other hand however, the resources are scarce and there is a need for it to become an energy efficient country with sustainable development goals. To top it all, the Western sanctions on Russia due to its territorial ambitions involving the annexation of Crimea and the invasion of Ukraine, it is interesting to see how and whether Russia has tried to bridge the gap between its ambitions and the harsh reality, as climate change has been haunting Russia in unimaginable ways.

 Abstract

The performance of Yolo V8 when compared to traditional approaches such as infrared imaging has been thoroughly studied and documented. Studies have found that the algorithm is more accurate in detecting fires before they become too severe or spread too far, allowing for quicker response times from firefighting units. For solving this problem, we developed a detection model called upgraded-YOLO based on the state-of-the-art object detection method of YOLOv8. The proposed model is able to perform real-time object detection. Firstly, the data will be collected and data labelling is performed. Unlike other objects detection models that divide image into multiple regions and perform object detection on multiple regions, YOLOv8 performs object detection on entire image in one forward pass through the network. This makes it fast and efficient for real time applications. A comparative study with several contemporary object detectors proved that the Upgraded-YOLO performed better. Therefore, the proposed detection technology can be deployed in a monitoring center in order to protect a strategic installation even in low-visibility conditions.

 Abstract

CaudaEquina Syndrome (CES) is a rare emergency disease when the ends of the spinal cord, namely the lumbar and sacral spinal nerves, get compressed, typically as a result of disc herniation or trauma. Bowel incontinence, bladder incontinence leading to UTI, high grade ulcers in the gluteal area, and saddle anaesthesia are some of the notable CES complications. One of the most uncommon neurosurgical crises is this one. A surgical operation termed a lumbar laminectomy, which decongests the lumbar spinal nerves, is the only cure for Caudaequina syndrome. In this case study, we will talk about and assess the long-term effects of caudaequina syndrome, which affect a variety of spheres of life. In this study, the relative Quality of Life (QoL) of patients is compared to the long-term complications of caudaequina syndrome.

 Abstract

Obesity and Overweight is a common and severe disease in most of adults and children, which refers to abnormal or excessive accumulation of fat that causes serious health problems. In a study in 2019 around 38.2 million children under the age of 5 were obese or overweight. There is a rise in the number of overweight children under the age of 5 in Africa by nearly 24% since 2000. Nearly half of the children under the age of 5 in Asia were overweight or obese in 2019. The best way to treat obesity is to follow a reduced-calorie diet. Manually tracking the food and calories in our food is a tedious task. There are Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models such as InceptionV3 and InceptionV4 to recognize the food items. But the existing CNN-based models are less accurate, computationally expensive and require high computational power. Here we are proposing a Convolutional Neural Network algorithm called YOLOV8, which is mostly used for object detection, to detect food items. This paper aims to develop a model that recognizes the food item and estimates its calorie values. This system provides a platform where users can estimate the number of calories in a food item by just providing pictures or videos of the food item and hence they can track the number of calories in their diet.

 Abstract

Today, the parking industry is being transformed by new technologies that are allowing cities to reduce rates of congestion significantly. This paper describes an Internet of Things (IoT) based parking sensing System that deploys a robust outdoor vehicle localization and recognition methodologies. Although parking occupancy monitoring systems have made a considerable progress, smart parking payment is rarely studied in smart parking research. This paper proposes a new low-cost sensor system allowing real-time parking occupancy monitoring along with parking payment without requiring any user/driver interaction. The proposed on-board by using JETSON NANO DEVELOPER KIT. It has benefits in terms of detection and payment reliability, and reduced expense by reducing the system complexity, infrastructure investment and battery replacement expense. In this that kit will record the vehicle entry and show the parking slots available. Later It will note down parking entry time and exit time and generate bill automatically. In this multiple areas parking slots data will be displayed by person in a single place. Camera will capture the input and bill will be displayed by machine . Total work is done by using JETSON NANO KIT and operated through 5v of DC voltage to the kit.

 Abstract

Postpartum depression (PPD) is among the most prevalent complications following childbirth, underscoring the importance of identifying effective treatments to promote optimal outcomes for mothers, infants, and families. When determining appropriate treatment for PPD, factors such as the severity of depression, whether the mother is breastfeeding, and the mother's preferences should be taken into account. Around 40% of new mothers experiencing various types of postpartum mood disorders, including symptoms of depression, before and during pregnancy. Maternal postpartum depression (PPD) is a common and debilitating complication of childbirth, often underdiagnosed and undertreated. The strongest risk factor for postpartum depression is a history of mood or anxiety disorders, particularly if the symptoms are active during pregnancy.Early detection and intervention are crucial in the treatment of postpartum depression due to the heightened vulnerability of infants in the early weeks of life. This article will provide a brief outline on PPD and helps in early detection and management.
