 Abstract

Abstract- when we look around us, we can see unused plastic that is accumulated through domestic and industries activities (e.g. Plastic bottles, bags and micro beads) Etc. This waste does not rot because it is non-bio degradable and therefore it remains in nature. In India public organization such as municipal corporations work to collect as well dispose of solid waste and dumped outside at open space far from city which causes air and soil pollution. To overcome this problem we have suggested using the plastic waste in cement concrete. The ingredients generally used for preparing cement concrete are cement and inert material .the inert material that is fine and coarse aggregate can be replaced by waste plastic. Waste plastic is an inorganic in nature so it does not alter the chemical properties and also it does not affect the consistency and quality of cement concrete. The waste plastic can be reduced to some extent from the environment as its used in cement concretes this is a new contribution for future and field of concrete technology. The use of waste plastic in cement concrete replaced 10% to 15 % by weight of inert material will reduced the cost and may increase the quality of concrete .

Perini (Preruni as per Bharat?r?ava treatise)! Now-a-days perini got popularity as perini Tandava. Is it a tandava (A mode of presentation)? Or L?sya(A mode of presentation)? But the word Preruni was primal explained by Nandikeshwara in his treatise Bharat?r?ava he elucidated in Sapta L?syas (Seven L?syas) as one of the L?syas. If we go through the treatise Bharat?r?ava then we get a clarity regarding what Perini is?

 Abstract

Social media has truly revolutionised the way in which students interact, communicate and socialise. It is an integral part of their everyday life and has become tool of staying in touch with friends and also facilitating schoolwork. As a result, the students have been found to spend a considerable amount of time on social media and are the largest users of this available technology. This descriptive study therefore aims at studying the social media usage among university students from Mumbai and its perceived impact on students social life and academic performance. For this purpose, an online web page survey via a Google form was circulated among students from various universities across Mumbai and data was collected from 155 students. The responses were analysed using descriptive statistical tools (mean, median and mode). The results indicated that the most commonly used social media platform was WhatsApp, and the sampled students spend at least 1 hour on social media on a daily basis. Majority of the students use social media for being in touch with friends and obtaining new information. Students not only consume fun content on social media (which includes memes and funny videos) but they also use social media for current affairs and politics. When it comes to social media addiction, nearly 50% of the students found themselves saying just a few more minutes and further results indicate that students are addicted to social media. This social media addiction has resulted into certain negative effects on students social life like changes in sleeping schedule, etc. Moreover, the study also revealed that students were of a neutral opinion about social media having any impact on their academic performance, but some facts revealed from the study indicate that students are unwilling to prioritise academic activities to social media usage. Hence it leaves a scope for higher level of research in this area in the future. In a nutshell, social media has both positive uses and a negative impact but productive use of social media is recommended to not only improve academic performance of students, but also in improving social interactions.

 Abstract

In recent time the construction industry need to be more efficient in terms of both designing and execution. The approach towards development must encompass that it should be economical, quick and maintain the quality. Concrete is one of the material that is used widely in all the type of construction. Due to its strength, availability and affordability it is the first choice of the material. The Precast concrete members are the solution for the construction material in industry due to its economic advantage in the rapidity of the construction. For the analytical, various methods are utilized to study the behavior of precast members where long mathematical calculations and experimental testing is performed. These methods are very much time consuming and use of material is very costly. The solution for this analysis and designing is the Finite Element method. In this study Finite element tool is utilized to analyse the prestressed member. The software utilized is Ansys where the model and analysis of the element is less time consuming and is very cost effective.

 Abstract

Play therapy represents a unique form of treatment that is not only geared toward adolescent children, but is translated into a language children can comprehend and utilizethe language of play. For the referring provider or practitioner, questions may remain regarding the nature, course, and efficacy of play therapy. This article reviews the theoretical underpinnings of play therapy, some practical considerations, and determinately a summary of the current state of research in regard to play therapy. The authors present the practicing psychiatrist with a road map for referring a patient to play therapy or initiating it in felicitous cases. Play therapy is of vital paramount for the salubrious development of children. From a developmental perspective, play offers ample physical, emotional, cognitive, and gregarious benefits. It sanctions children and adolescents to develop motor skills, experiment with their (gregarious) behavioural repertoire, simulate alternative scenarios, and address the sundry positive and negative consequences of their department in a safe and engaging context. Children with a chronic or life-threatening disease may face obstacles that negatively impact play and play development, possibly impeding developmental milestones, beyond the authentic illness itself. Currently, there is constrained understanding of the impact of (1) aberrant or suppressed play and (2) play-cognate interventions on the development of chronic diseased children. We argue that stimulating play compartment enhances the adaptability of a child to a (chronic) stressful condition and promotes cognitive, convivial, emotional and psychomotor functioning, thereby reinforcing the substructure for their future health. Systematic play research will avail to develop interventions for puerile patients, to better cope with the negative consequences of their illness and stimulate salubrious development.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT The concept of Green Investment is clear that it represents to the invest being made to an economy focusing to its environmental projects. India being a country with wide topographical and climatic conditions having an investment in the green sectors of hydropower, solar power, wind power, geo thermal energy, coal etc. even though India have many investing opportunities it mainly focuses on Coal, Solar Power, Wind power. Even though these sectors are viable the production of coal in India is running in a loss and this sector is facing severe problems. But when taking the case of the solar and wind power these sectors are viable and profitable for the economy. From the pandemic period it was very clear that the investment industries and other business are not viable as if when a nation wide lockdown is implemented these industries will be facing severe loss. But as the same is happened for the green sector the loss amount of this sector will be less as compared to the loss of other sectors. In such a way these sectors are considered as the best way to rebuild the Indian economy after Covid 19.

 Abstract

Solid waste processing is a major concern with respect to various developing countries. India as a developing country has changing consumption patterns and rapid economic growth. In Urban India 62 million tones of municipal solid waste are generated each year, it is predicted that urban municipal solid waste will be increased to 165 million tons in 2030.[10] The waste management process should be effectively planned to reduce waste dumping in landfills. To manage the waste in a developing country like India it is important to plan the process of collection, transportation, and segregation of waste from the ground level. This paper reviews various technological developments and methods that are implemented to manage the solid waste management process. It also discusses the existing processes and government plans and programs towards efficient waste management. This paper proposes a methodology that can be implemented to manage solid waste processing; an application is developed in order to manage the day-to-day operations of waste management. The data collected from the application can be used for further processing and analysis to get insights about the ineffective activities in the process. By the implementation of this application, the process of collection and transportation of waste management can be systematically managed.

 Abstract

Toothpaste is a gel or paste formulation product and is use to clean and maintain oral hygiene with the aid of toothbrush. The majority of the cleaning is performed by the mechanical utilization of the toothbrush with the help of excipients used in toothpaste. The aim of this investigation is to evaluate herbal toothpaste formulations. Several chemicals, preventive agents have beneficial effects in the control of plaque and to reduce or prevent oral disease. But some of these substances show undesirable side effects such as tooth staining and altered taste. The objective of the present research work to formulate herbal toothpaste containing natural ingredients like clove fruit, Neem leaves, Honey and Acacia powder etc. which were traditionally used for tooth cleaning. The formulated toothpaste was evaluated for its organoleptic and physical properties as per standards specified by Bureau of Indian Standards and compare with marketed toothpaste formulations. Lab made herbal toothpaste was formulated by suitable ingredients to get formulation more stable. Evaluation and comparison of results with commercial Herbal toothpaste are demonstrated that Lab made toothpaste is having Equal patronizing and engrossing passion over the marketed formulations (Dantkranti, Himalaya, Babool and Colgate). This preliminary in vitro study demonstrated that Labmade Herbal toothpaste was equally efficacious as three commercially popular toothpastes in terms of all evaluation properties of toothpaste. Hence, by the evidence of in vitro studies, it is concluded that Lab made Herbal toothpaste formulated in a laboratory was found to be of good quality.

Improbable quantities of data is being produced by various organizations like hospitals, banks, e-commerce, retail and supply chain, etc. by virtue of digital technology. Not only individuals but machines also subsidize to data in the form of closed circuit television streaming, web site logs, etc. Tons of data is produced every minute by social media and smart phones. Big data is a word used for very large data sets that have more diverse and composite structure. These features usually correlate with additional problems in storing, analyzing and applying further procedures or mining results. This paper covers uses of privacy by taking existing methods such as k-anonymity, T-closeness and L-diversity and its implementation in business. There have been a various privacy-preserving mechanisms developed for privacy protection at different stages. Although data analytics is useful in decision making, it will lead to serious privacy apprehensions. Hence privacy preserving data analytics became very important. The goal of this paper is to deliver a major review of the privacy preservation mechanisms in big data and present the challenges for existing mechanisms and paper also examines various privacy threats with their limitations in unstructured data.

 Abstract

Media works as a bridge between government and society. Media have been recognized as robust power to form how we experience this world. Whether a viewer or a reader, we just close our mind and open our eyes. In this crisis, media played a very significant role in making people aware about the situation, calm the junta and encourage them to do positive action. The different kind of media like digital media and print media with their impact have been presented in this paper. There are many challenges at ground level in spreading information to the people across the nation, some have been discussed in the latter part of this research article.

 Abstract

A Clutch is a one of necessary machine member which is use to connect the driving shaft to a driven shaft, in order that the driven shaft should also be started or stopped at will, without any change in the driving shaft. A clutch consequently provides an interruptible connection between two rotating shafts. The present used material for friction disc is with different cloth and aluminum alloys. In this thesis evaluation is carried out the usage of composite materials. The composite materials are considered thanks to their excessive energy to weight ratio. In this thesis material E Glass Epoxy and Aluminum Metal Matrix Composite are taken. One plate clutch is supposed and modeled the use of CATIA software. Static evaluation and Dynamic analysis is completed on the clutch to work out stresses and deformations using substances Grey forged iron, Aluminum alloy 7075, Glass Epoxy and Aluminum Metal Matrix Composite. Analysis is accomplished in ANSYS15.

 Abstract

Fossil fuels have been creating critical conditions that affect the society by causing various problems such as greenhouse gases emissions, by causing global climate change and release of various toxic gases into the atmosphere. As a result the public health is affected making it difficult for the living organisms to sustain on the earth, it is necessary to find out other possible solution. In this review we would like to focus on the algae which are rich in lipid biomass and can develop a sustainable energy source that serves as alternative to the usage of fossil fuels. In recent developments, microalgae have been cultivated for the production of biofuel. This approach is said be a solution which employees the environmental sustainable technology. The photosynthetic rate of carbon fixation in microalgae reduces the release of greenhouse gases. Microalgae are vast and they have the ability to feed on various waste water systems making them efficient for water purification and producing the bio fuels & various bio fertilizers by generating biomass. The Current review focuses on different methods of bio fuel production using micro algal biomass.
