Due to environmental changes and poor quality of construction materials, cracks may develop in the walls of the building which is critical for maintenance as well as the continuous exposure will cause the severe damage to the environment. One of the initial signs of the degradation of a concrete surface or a material is cracks. Manual inspection has many drawbacks like invisibility of the crack, time consuming and it completely depends upon specialists knowledge and experience. So automatic image-based crack detection is used as replacement for manual inspection which reduces the cost when compared to the manual approach. The proposed algorithm has been tested against various concrete crack images to study how effectively the algorithm is working, and how effectively it is overcoming the drawbacks of the present manual approach. The algorithm is projected to serve the purpose of various people by estimating the parameters of the crack so the bricklayer can take the necessary actions from the degradation of concrete structures.

The online education market currently in India stands at USD 247 Million and is expected to grow by 5x. While we can see the development of the industry, we can likewise observe that a large portion of the students/learners is currently enhancing their primary and secondary education, test/entrance exams, reskilling, and accreditations through online methods. This shows there is a fair number of people who presently acknowledge the framework. While tuitions and learning at a school were the systematic framework, the change has been driven by online educational platforms. As indicated by the examination that I have led over the market, the pattern recommends that the number of individuals opting for the web instruction are just expanding at an extremely high rate. With the introduction of online educational platforms like Byjus, Jaro, Vedantu, Simplilearn, and so forth, there are many supplements to oblige both students and parents to the needs of students. It very well may be summarized that online instruction has endured and has been acknowledged; this is setting down deep roots and development. To pick up the trust and unwavering factor among the customers, different methodologies, such as freemium model and free trials, are being advanced by the players in the market to empower online learning among students and working experts. And so forth, a considerable number of students and guardians are moving toward them, and they can oblige their requirements. The situation of lockdown due to pandemic (Covid19) had posed a challenge to the online education system if they are capable of managing such a high need. One needs to really applaud the way online platforms tackled such a problem and made this convenient for the students. This shows the real capability that this online platform on the whole has. With the introduction of virtual classrooms and webinars, individuals have accepted it as a partial alternative to the traditional approach.

Soil moisture information plays an important role in environmental monitoring, agricultural production and hydrological studies. Particularly, agricultural yield depends on several growing parameters like temperature, humidity, soil moisture and pH of the soil, etc. In this paper, we have designed and developed a system for measuring and monitoring soil moisture, humidity and temperature by interfacing low-cost soil moisture sensor FC-28, temperature and humidity sensor: DHT11, and using Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud computing and Mobile computing technologies. We have also implemented an online cloud computing system to keep check over soil parameters. Various methods, both laboratory and field including remote sensing are available to measure soil moisture content, but the quickest and better one is with the use of soil moisture sensor electronic devices. For successful irrigation, it is necessary to monitor soil moisture, its temperature and humidity content continuously in the irrigation fields. The soil moisture sensors are used intensively at present because it gives real time readings. Their usage helps growers with irrigation scheduling by providing information about when to water the crops. Efficient irrigation watering helps in saving water, getting better plant yields, reducing dependency on fertilizers and improving crop quality. This research has a real potential to deliver a more productive and sustainable form of agricultural production, based on a more precise and resource-efficient approach. It also promises to reduce the ecological footprint of farming, make farming profitable and boost customer acceptance.

We introduce an effective technique to enhance the images captured underwater and degraded due to the medium scattering and absorption. Our method is a single image approach that does not require specialized hardware or knowledge about the underwater conditions or scene structure. It builds on the blending of two images that are directly derived from a color-compensated and white balanced version of the original degraded image. The two images to fusion, as well as their associated weight maps, are defined to promote the transfer of edges and color contrast to the output image. To avoid that the sharp weight map transitions create artifacts in the low frequency components of the reconstructed image, we also adapt a multi scale fusion strategy. Our extensive qualitative and quantitative evaluation reveals that our enhanced images and videos are characterized by better exposedness of the dark regions, improved global contrast, and edges sharpness. Our validation also proves that our algorithm is reasonably independent of the camera settings, and improves the accuracy of several image processing applications, such as image segmentation and key-point matching.

The digital world we live in demands a high application of digital signal processing, neural networking, computer automation. Multiplier is one of the essential operators for these applications. The demand for power efficiency and higher speed introduces errors into these applications. These demands give birth to a new field known as Approximate computing. In the paper approximate multiplier is designed with a huge range of dynamic selection. One of the main advantages of the design is the error introduced during a computation, which cancels with previous computation instead of summing up. An approximate DRUM multiplier is designed using Verilog. Register Transfer Level (RTL) is retrieved. The computation of error metrics is done in MATLAB. This design is scalable and so it can be used according to the required application. The propagation delay of the multiplier is reduced in this design which makes it faster. Error analysis is done based on various parameters and it is observed the error introduced is least among all the approximate multipliers. Since multiplier consumes more power in the processor, this multiplier is designed with power efficiency as one of the major constrain. As designed the multiplier when used in a processor saves power to 58 %. The design outperforms various other approximate multipliers which was analyzed during the literature survey. After analyzing the DRUM multiplier a modification is done in the design to improve the accuracy. This optimized design is termed as Optimized DRUM multiplier and it is analyzed and the comparative study between both the multipliers is made in terms of accuracy.

Inability to speak is considered to be true disability. People with this disability use different modes to communicate with others, there are many number of methods available for their communication one such common method of communication is sign language. Sign language allows people to communicate with human body language, each word has a set of human actions representing a particular expression. The motive of the paper is to convert the human sign language to Voice with human gesture understanding. This is achieved with the help of Raspberry pi web camera and speaker. There are a few systems available for sign language to speech conversion but none of them provide portable user interface. For consideration if a person who has a disability to speak can stand and perform in front of the system and the system converts the human gestures as speech and plays it loud so that the person could actually communicate to a mass crowd gathering. Also the system helps visually and speech impaired people to communicate with each other.

The study was conducted to examine the determinants of online consumer reviews as electronic word of mouth has become more and more popular to help make buying decisions. The web provides a wide range of customer reviews, but all reviews can be difficult to read in order to properly evaluate a product or service. A text processing framework that summarizes reviews, therefore, would be desirable. The subtask presented by such a framework is to find a range of commonalities in the review sentences, for which this paper presents two methods. Unlike most existing methods, the first method introduced is an unsafe method that applies association rules mining on co-frequency data obtained from the corpus to find a range of these aspects.

Abstract: A leader may attract you or put you off. A leader is a life line of democracy. We cant imagine the political system without a leader because he is a central to any political system. Youth and knowledgeable society wants new leader who can confront a reality based knowledge so the people wants the leadership, which influence the fundamental attitudes and assumption of an organization members creating a common mentality to achieve the goals. The paper aim at analyzing that what type of leadership should be in contemporary India or what are the emerging trends in democratic leadership. Introduction: India in its 70th years of independence. In simple words we can say that Leadership means people are guided by one person (i.e.whom people have appointed as their leader) People are guided. Even if they carried out mass protests, strikes by people. Whether they are a revolutionary movement. Good leadership in each field results in good leadership, even if it is a playground where the captain leads a team. Regardless of the politics in which the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister and other ministers are properly guided in different areas of the government
