The research analyzes how mergers and acquisitions (M&A) affect labour rights in the Indian banking sector. The research explores legal challenges and issues that occur from complex transactions in the Indian banking sector transactions. The study examines the key legislative frameworks including the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, which specifies rules about transfer of employment and compensation; the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 which discusses implications for contract workers in M& A scenarios and the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 which highlights the challenges in safeguarding employee entitlements during mergers. Additionally, the paper evaluates, The Reserve Bank of India guidelines to demonstrate banking sector applications of regulatory requirements and employee protection. Through a comprehensive analysis of various M&A schemes within the banking sector, the efficacy of these frameworks is assessed, drawing on case laws that illustrate judicial interpretations and outcomes related to employees' rights during the mergers. The data collected from the employees regarding M&A effects is analysed to provide insights into the real world and practical implications of these legal provisions. The study focuses on key challenges, including job security, compensation disputes and the adequacy of existing labour laws in addressing these M&As in the Banking sector. By synthesizing legal analysis with these data, this paper aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of labour rights protection with respect to Banking mergers and acquisitions in India and gives recommendations for enhancing the legal framework to better safeguard employee interests during these transformative processes.

ABSTRACT: The fashion industry is the world's second-largest generators of textile waste, making it a significant contributor to global waste. The regular production of new textiles and the huge quantity of garbage that is regularly dumped in landfills are the main causes of this ongoing issue. The project, titled "Sustainable Apparel Development ", tries to address this issue by applying textile materials or discarded waste fabrics to make laptop bags that are both visually beautiful and useful. This project's main goal is to use upcycling as a means of promoting sustainability and trash reduction. by turning what are normally regarded as waste fabric remnants into useful goods. Gathering used textiles, carefully sifting and choosing appropriate pieces, and designing an inventive and useful bag are all steps in the project process. The upcycling project not only improves the environment but also promotes the value of social responsibility. The project supports the development and enhancement of pattern making--which are often digitalized in today's fast-paced, highly technological world--by working with care and creativity. This combination ensures that there is a second chance of life to the discarded scarps.

The categorization of sleep disorders has proven to be of main importance in the advancement of human quality of life, due to the fact that sleep apnea and other sleep disorders affect the general health of a person. Sleep stage analysis is inherently difficult and vulnerable to human errors, meaning that great need lies in the development of strong machine learning algorithms for an effective classification of sleep disorders. The paper discusses a comparative study of conventional machine learning algorithms with for classifying sleep disorders using the publicly available Sleep Health and Lifestyle Dataset that contains 400 rows and 13 columns representing various features related to sleep and daily activities. Several parameters of different MLAs are optimized in the paper using a genetic algorithm to improve classification performance. The performance of the k-nearest neighbors (KNN), support vector machine (SVM), decision tree (DT), random forest (RF), and logistic regression algorithms were tested alongside XGBoost for an all-around check on their correctness. Experimental results show that classification accuracy of with PCA showed 94.44%, 93.06%, 94.44%, 94.44%, 93.06%, and 94.44%, on applying PCA showed result 95.83%, 94.44%, 94.44%, 94.44%, 94.44%, and 94.44% respectively. The Logistic Regression achieved the highest classification accuracy of 95.83%, and its precision, recall and F1-score values on the testing data were 94.50%, 94.44% and 94.44%, respectively. The findings of the study increase the efficiency of the proposed algorithms in classifying sleep disorder. It contributes to the efforts that have been made in enhancing the accuracy of diagnostics. The concept of Indian identity as portrayed in Indian writing in English, explores the intricate ways in which Indian writers navigate cultural, historical, and social contexts to express a multifaceted sense of self. It examines how Indian authors use English as a medium to bridge the gap between traditional Indian values and the globalized world, while reflecting on the complexities of identity formation in post-colonial India. Through the works of prominent writers such as R. K. Narayan, Salman Rushdie, Arundhati Roy, and Vikram Seth, the article highlights the tension between indigenous culture and the influences of Westernization, colonial history, and modernization. The exploration covers themes such as the impact of colonialism on national consciousness, the search for cultural authenticity, and the negotiation of personal and collective identities in a rapidly changing society. The article also addresses the role of language in shaping Indian identity, acknowledging the challenges and opportunities that arise from using English, a language historically tied to colonialism, to express and redefine what it means to be Indian.

Often referred to as "thinking about thinking," metacognition is essential to self-directed learning (SDL), which is becoming more and more significant for college students navigating higher education. Metacognition in SDL refers to the capacity to keep an eye on and control one's own learning processes in order to enhance the caliber of learning experiences and results. Self-directed learning (SDL), which calls for students to take charge of their education, manage their learning, and track their progress independently, is a critical ability for success in higher education. Improving SDL requires metacognition or the awareness and management of one's own learning processes. Through a study of theoretical frameworks, empirical data, and implications for academic accomplishment, this paper investigates the relationship between metacognition and SDL among college students. Students can enhance learning outcomes, adjust to various circumstances, and develop into lifelong learners by cultivating metacognitive awareness. The article describes students' difficulties in developing metacognitive skills and offers techniques for doing so.

--Sign language serves as a crucial communication medium for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. This research presents a real-time sign language recognition system that enhances accessibility through intuitive gesture-based inter? actions. The system consists of three key components: 1. Text-to-Sign Conversion Transforms input text into corre? sponding sign language images. 2. Gesture Recognition Predicts and displays recognized hand signs as text and speech output. 3. Smart Assistant Enables users to control system settings such as brightness and volume and launch applications like YouTube using predefned gestures. Unlike traditional machine learning-based approaches, our system leverages convolutional neural networks (CNN) along with rule-based gesture mapping and computer vision techniques for accurate recognition and execution of commands. The model is trained on American Sign Language (ASL) fnger spelling gestures, where hand position and orientation are used for training and testing. The captured images are preprocessed using flters and passed through a classifer to predict gesture classes before being fed into the CNN model for further refnement. Experimental results demonstrate high accuracy and effciency, providing a seamless and interactive experience for individuals relying on sign language for communication and accessibility.

In the age of digital technology, there is a widespread use of mobile phones and other gadgets especially by adolescents. They are spending an average of 3-4 hours a day on messaging, chatting, gaming, watching videos etc. Due to the excessive use, adolescents are facing mental health issues. Though, the modern digital world brings a new height by making the communication smarter, quicker and full of knowledge among the adolescents, but at the same time it paves the ways towards its misuse and abuse. Thus, the digital world has both positive and negative effects on the young minds and their mental health. The present investigation focuses mainly on the analysis of findings of different studies conducted by the researchers. However, findings of literature reviews suggest a negative effects on the mental health of adolescents', but it differ basing on the type of use; procrastination and passive use are related to more negative effects, whereas, societal and active use are related to more positive effects. The use of digital technology has stronger effects on short-term markers of hedonic well-being (e.g. negative affect) than long-term measures of eudaimonic well-being (e.g. life satisfaction). The negative effect of it predisposes socio-emotional and psychological vulnerabilities, such as mental health disorders. Further, behavioural and emotional dysregulation and adverse experiences such as cyber bullying are also marked among them. Although adolescents are more vulnerable, effects are comparable for both adolescents and adults. It appears that both low and excessive use are related to decreased well-being, whereas moderate use is related to increased well-being. The current investigation still has many limitations: high-quality studies with large-scale samples, objective measures of digital technology use, and experience sampling of well-being are at the fore front for future research.

Financial inclusion is a key driver in the pursuit of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), serving as a catalyst for inclusive economic growth and poverty reduction. By expanding access to financial services such as banking, credit, insurance, and digital payments, financial inclusion empowers individuals and communities--particularly the underserved, women, and small enterprises--to participate more fully in the formal economy. This paper examines the multifaceted role of financial inclusion in promoting economic stability, reducing inequalities, and enhancing opportunities for education, health, and entrepreneurship. It also explores the alignment between inclusive financial systems and specific SDGs, including those related to poverty (SDG 1), gender equality (SDG 5), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), and reduced inequalities (SDG 10). Consumer behavior may be impacted by the growth of online advertising in several ways. First off, since online advertising is targeted, consumers may feel more individualized and likely to make a purchase. This could boost brand loyalty. Compared to generic marketing initiatives, consumers might be more responsive to advertising messages that are pertinent to their needs and interests. Second, because online advertising is so common, it may cause "banner blindness," a condition where people grow numb to the never-ending stream of promotional material. This could eventually reduce the efficacy of online advertising. Lastly, customers can be better equipped to make informed judgments about what to buy by having easy access to price and product information online. This could lead to heightened competition and price sensitivity.
