In the present experimental investigation, the parametric optimization method using Taguchi’s robust design is proposed for Plano milling machining of alloy steel SA387 & mild steel IS2062 with coated cemented tungsten carbide tip tool. In this paper, the effects of process parameters like cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut have been investigated to reveal their impact on material removal rate and surface roughness. The Plano Milling Machine is used to conduct experiments based on the Taguchi design of experiments (DOE) with orthogonal L9 array. The orthogonal array, signal-to- noise ratio (S/N) and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were employed to find the maximum material removal rate and minimum surface roughness. The experimental results showed that that the optimal combination of parameters for surface roughness are at cutting speed of 250 rpm, feed rate of 1.42 mm/rev, depth of cut of 1.5 mm while for material removal rate are at cutting speed of 400 rpm, feed rate of 1.42 mm/rev, depth of cut of 1.5 mm for material SA-387. The Optimum value of the surface roughness (Ra) comes out to be 2.31 μm. While the optimum value of the material removal rate (MRR) comes out to be 18.8x10 -6 mm 3 /min for alloy steel A387.

Ideal utilization of bandwidth, storage room and simple transmission over correspondence channel are vital and testing undertakings in late sight and sound world. One conceivable answer for conquer this components is picture compression, which will be utilized to diminish the capacity limit of pictures furthermore to transmit a picture with restricted bandwidth. It assumes an imperative part to use the bandwidth in a significant way and conservative by reducing the span of picture without debasing the perceptual visual nature of a picture. Here in this proposition we investigated the execution and examination of adaptive wavelet with level dependent thresholding (AW-LDT) based compression techniques for MRT pictures. Experimental analysis has been analyzed using image quality (IQ) metrics such as Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), Compression Ratio (CR) and Mean Square Error (MSE).

Abstract The present study is to know about the customer opinion on CSR practices. It is treated as a long term strategy for value appreciation rather than service motto. We have undertaken a survey to analyze whether customers are believing in CSR practices . we have obtained astonishing results. Most of the respondents felt that companies really do not want to implement CSR with an intention to serve the people but they are doing it to gain the publicity and increase their brand value. Moreover companies are receiving tax incentives for conducting CRM programme .Most of the respondents felt that there may be number of reasons for practicing CSR by the corporate but ultimately it is the people who are benefited by CSR. So it is sure that social welfare is result of CSR activities. It is certain that brand value is certain to increase by practicing CSR. The main reason behind this is companies gain goodwill reputation and positive word of mouth through CSR. In the past companies launch CSR programmes as a part of good intention i.e. to serve the society. But now companies are launching it to increase TRP, GRP which in turn increases profitability and growth. Most of them are of opinion that both the society and companies are benefited by CSR. Society is benefited by their welfare programmes through CSR.

In the present modern wireless communication world, OFDM technique plays an important role in the transmission of multiple signals simultaneously over a single transmission path. OFDM is the good choice for multipath propagation systems. But, this multi carrier modulation technique is suffering with a PAPR problem due to the addition of number of narrow orthogonal sub-carries at OFDM transmitter. This PAPR problem leads to power inefficiency in RF section of the transmitter. To reduce this PAPR in OFDM system, numbers of techniques are proposed and implemented. In this paper we done analysis of different PAPR reduction techniques of OFDM systems and compared their PAPR values through simulation results.

In a ZVS single full bridge inverter with dynamic load with THI PWM is employed. The THIPWM (Third Harmonic injection Pulse Width Modulation) generates more voltage as compared to traditional SPWM. The ZVS THIPWM is evolved from the double-frequency THIPWM by adding gate drive to the auxiliary switch. The ZVS condition is analyzed and the circulation loss of the resonant branch is optimized by adjusting the energy storage in the resonant inductor. The reverse recovery of the body-diode of MOSFET is relieved and ZVS is realized for both main and auxiliary switches. The filter inductors are significantly reduced with higher switching frequency. The design guideline of resonant parameters and the implementation of ZVS THIPWM with dynamic load in MATLAB software are given with graphical representation and reports.

Franchising is an arrangement where one party (franchiser) grants another party (franchisee) the right to use its trademark or trade-name as well as certain business systems and processes, to produce and market a good or service according to certain specifications. The franchisee usually pays a one-time franchise fee plus a percentage of sales revenue as royalty, and gains immediate name recognition, tried and tested products, standard building design and decor, detailed techniques in running and promoting the business, training of employees and ongoing help in promoting and upgrading of the products. For examples some of the largest franchise in the world which are deemed as supersized franchise brands are McDonald’s, 7-Eleven, KFC, Subway, Burger Kind, Hertz, Ace Hardware and Circle K. Until now, research on franchising has been lacking in India. However, India was one of the first Asian countries to develop numerous franchise units. Previous franchising research indicates that qualitative studies are not sufficiently used in this field. Therefore, it was decided to interview franchisees in order to better understand how and why people choose franchise rather than other forms of business. The purpose of this exploratory/descriptive quantitative study is to examine the viability of various franchisee models prevailing in the market. For this research the researcher has selected a sample size in the city of Chennai.

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone is an aircraft without a human pilot aboard. Wing bracket plays a major role in the transferring of loads from the wing structure to the fuselage. Bracket members secured respectively to the end of the wing at a forward or aft location, and to the aircraft fuselage form with a clevis pin a clevis connection with the clevis pin projecting through the bracket members. Especially in the UAV wing bracket need to transfer a high load, since the wing span of the aircraft is very high compared to the other. Here wing bracket is designed using CATIA software and then it is analyzed by using NASTRAN &PATRAN software. By analyzing, deflection and stress effects for the load acting on the wing-fuselage bracket can be determined easily. In this analysis piecewise approximation method is been used and for meshing tetra mesh is used.

Image watermarking deals with content authentication and proof of ownership. It has been used in our research as a part of application in telemedicine of health care field. Implementation has been carried out to authorize any medical image report being supervised by particular medical supervisor as a sign of a valid treatment and therapy. In case of image watermarking, two images are overlapped in such a way that one act as a cover image and the other one as a watermark itself. A number of transformations are utilized for implementation of image watermarking like wavelet transform, curvelet transform, Contourlet transform, Ridgelet transform etc. The method is chosen as per its own characteristics and advantages. Here, in this paper, we have implemented the watermarking of the medical images using Curvelet Transform and the results are compared with those obtained by Wavelet Transformation implementation on to the same images. Also, the results of software implementation carried out on MATLAB computation platforms are discussed.

Water is vital for sustaining all forms of life on earth. Treatment of domestic wastewater before its disposal into the environment was not given much importance until the recent past. This was due to increased contamination rates of surface and ground water sources. Domestic wastewater treatment is becoming even more critical due to diminishing water resources and resulting water scarcity especially during summer in many parts of the country. Aeration is one of the methods which help in the removal of various contaminants present in domestic wastewater. During the past decade, pond aeration systems have been developed which will sustain large quantities of fish and invertebrate biomass. Dissolved Oxygen (DO) is considered to be among the most important water quality parameters in fish culture. Fishponds in aquaculture farms are usually located in remote areas where grid lines are at far distance. Aeration of ponds is required to prevent mortality and to intensify production, especially when feeding is practical, and in warm regions. To increase pond production it is necessary to control dissolved oxygen. Artificial intelligence (AI) techniques are becoming useful as alternate approaches to conventional techniques or as components of integrated systems. They have been used to solve complicated practical problems in various areas and are becoming more and more popular nowadays. This project presents a new design of diffused aeration system using fuel cell as a power source. Also fuzzy logic control Technique (FLC) is used for controlling the speed of air flow rate from the blower to air piping connected to the pond by adjusting blower speed. matlab simulink results show high performance of fuzzy logic control (FLC).

The main aim of project is to reduce the power quality problems in distribution system by using active filter. In this project PV Connected active type power filter is implemented. An active power filter consists of dc link capacitor, grid interfacing voltage source inverter, and filter. The dc voltage is supplied by photovoltaic system which is stored in capacitor. In this project we are using four leg voltage source inverter which converts DC to AC voltage. And the harmonics are eliminated by filter. Predictive controlling scheme use to operate or control the switches of voltage source inverter. All of these functions may be accomplished either individually or simultaneously. And we observed the simulation results by using MATLAB/SIMULINK

The economic growth and development of a nation depend on sound banking system and practices. The banking sector in Indian accounts for a main share of financial intermediation and recognized as key vehicle for Indian monetary policy indicators, manage payment systems and credit channel. Indian banking industry is life line for continues progress of economy of our country. A strong and effective banking system is very necessary for economic growth and development of our country. Today NPAs became one of the best indicators for Indian banking. NPAs have a direct impact on the liquidity, profitability and solvency position of the banking system. These days everyone consider directly if bank has higher NPA this means the banking system is inefficiency and lower NPA means better management and performance of funds. For profitability and effective banking it is very necessary to reduce and control NPA. Our banking system stressed with increasing NPA and it badly impact on Indian economy and there is need to accept numerous actions to controlled NPAs.

Relay selection is the process of investigating the best partner/s to achieve the goal within given constraint. Goal and constraint are depending on the type of the wireless network. Wireless networks have variety of architectures from cellular to sensor and infrastructure based to infrastructure less, from high profile devices to low cost low power tiny nodes. Different applications have different constraints like for sensor network, power is most important while for cellular voice communication has real time constraint and for data networks, throughput is of main concern. Infrastructure based networks are centrally controlled while ad-hoc networks have distributed control. Considering variety of wireless networks, there cannot be a single technique of relay selection. Vast variety of techniques in literature for relay selection in WSN for IOT has been highlighted in this paper. Analysis and comparisons of the techniques and algorithms have been discussed.

Various areas related to design of fixture are very well described by renowned authors, but there is an urgent need to couple and apply all these research works to an industrial application. This paper satisfies this urgency by designing a fixture for a real industrial component - adaptor of gas equipment with an aim to reduce cycle time and increase productivity using time study and work study principles of Industrial Engineering. A fixture is designed to perform slotting operation. The salient fatures of the present volume of this research is that a slot on both walls of the component can be produced in a single set up using a designed fixture by providing a special ratchet screw attachment, which can turn a part after performing an operation on one side of wall. As fixture is not only designed but manufactured also, it sets the classical example of design for manufacturing.
