Abstract: Applied linguistics deals with the practical issues of language use. Stylistics is a branch of applied linguistics. Linguistic aspects of meaning making is the concern of all the subfields of stylistics. Stylistics, an interdisciplinary field, systematically explores the linguistic frameworks and set of features embedded in spoken and written texts. Stylistic analysis is of paramount importance for understanding how the communication is effected by the stylistic devices. Language is a game changer in the field of law. It establishes social control. Language as a tool helps legal professionals to control the thoughts and make their interpretations strong. Language is a means for achieving objects for them by convincing. Legal language is unique and frames a battleground for achieving justice and persuasive effect through normative and performative functions. Supreme Court judgments, which are the final products of court proceedings, are one of the legal texts. As in any stylistic analysis the description precedes an interpretation i.e. meaning precedes an effect, in this paper the lexical and syntactic choices made by the judges in the selected Supreme Court judgment are described, investigated and analyzed by using the frameworks provided by Randolph Quirk and Greenbaum, De Beaugrande and Dressler and Eugene O Winter with respect to their semanticity and communicative style. It explores how the stylistic devices have attributes of argumentative devices and persuasive tone. It also unfolds the compact and complex nature of legal writing.

Guidance based placement preparation process for the students is to provide all the necessary features or factors which are required for the preparation of a placement drive like aptitude questions of different topics, coding tests and various logical and verbal reasoning questions in one place. Candidates can simply log in to this platform and practice aptitude questions of various topics and also enhance their coding skills by using the online compilers of different programming languages available on this platform. This is a basic web-App which can be accessed through Computer or laptops and obviously with mobile phones. The required hardware and software are freely available and easy to work with. Placement Preparation Platform, as described above, will lead to error-free, secure, reliable and easy to manage system for the preparation of the placement drives. It will assist the users or candidates to focus on their preparation and progress rather than focusing on switching to different platforms for every other thing. Thus, it will help organization in better utilization of resources. The organization can put various questions and update the questions accordingly. The aim is to provide rather user-friendly platform where candidates can complete all the preparations regarding placement and also organizations can train their students without worrying about switching platforms and faculties can focus more on the study-material they provide. This proposed project will provide the platform where faculties can train their students for placement drives by setting questions according to their strategy and conducting various tests. Faculties can also set aptitude questions and also coding questions along with various testcases to test the efficacy of the code. Key feature of the proposed platform is that candidates can take tests and practice coding at any time in the duration set by the faculty.

The inequalities between the poor and the rich and the variant attitudes of social disparity result in great injustice across the world. The book, Injustice: Why Social Inequality Still Persists by Daniel Dorling looks at the phenomena driving these inequalities in the society and functions as a critical contribution to the current and on-going debate on growing social inequality and injustice. It perceives a set of beliefs of the powerful, such as, ‘elitism is efficient’, ‘exclusion is necessary’, ‘prejudice is natural’, ‘greed is good’ and ‘despair is inevitable’ that causes injustice. Through this review article, the reader critically analyses the last tenet of Dorling - ‘Despair is inevitable’ - and perceives the progress of the argument how inequality and injustice related to this belief. It is a critical involvement and engagement in the enduring debate on mounting social inequality.

ABSTRACT Legislative commitment has been an important factor in ensuring the success of Civil Service and its reform initiatives in several countries during the last seven decades. Legislative support provides not only a legal framework for Civil Service reform but ensures the continuity of these reforms. Such legislation plays a pivotal role in describing and establishing the core principles which Civil Servants should imbibe. It also provide a clear unified framework within which the Civil Servants can perform their roles and discharge their responsibilities. A new law is often needed to create and empower institutions which would ensure that the Civil Servants discharge their duties while upholding the principles enshrined in the Constitution. A Civil Service law can also provide the basis for bringing about necessary reform in the Civil Service. In this context, an Administrative Law serves three important purposes. First, it provides the necessary explanations for the proposed reform initiatives. When the Bill is introduced in the legislature, there is extensive debate as a result of which issues are clarified and doubts are set at rest. Second, when the reforms are given legislative cover, there is political support and the political parties become committed to the changes. Third, Civil Servants normally take notice of legislation and in this case the Civil Service legislation sends down the important message to the Civil Servants that the reforms are permanent in nature.

In order to obtain a good quality weld and control weld The selection of improper FCAW process parameter increases the power consumption, material consumption, man power and cost of the product decreasing the weld quality. distortion, it is therefore, necessary to control the input welding parameters. In this experimental work, experiments has to be carried out on EN 8 & SS 304 steel of 6 mm thick using FCAW process. Bimetallic joints of medium carbon alloy steel and stainless steel are widely used in high temperature corrosive environments. In the present Experiments, has to be conducted on specimens of single butt joint having different amps, volts & gas flow rate. The strength of the welded joint has to be verified through tensile testing machine/Bead geometry and the results will be evaluated along with Rockwell Hardness Test. The input parameter selected through Taguchi design.

Malicious websites largely promote the expansion of Internet criminal activities and constrain the event of Web services. As a result, there has been strong motivation to develop systemic solution to stopping the user from visiting such Websites. We propose a learning based approach to classifying websites into 3 classes: Benign, Spam and Malicious. Our mechanism only analyses the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) itself without accessing the content of websites. Thus, it eliminates the run-time latency then likelihood of exposing users to the browser based vulnerabilities. By employing learning algorithms, our scheme achieves better performance on generality and coverage compared with blacklisting service.

The purpose of this article is to analyze peasant strategies, in particular those of agro-pastoralists in the sylvopastoral zone, in a context of high rainfall variability, climate vulnerability and a great trend in environmental conditions deterioration Abstract: The purpose of this article is to analyze peasant strategies, in particular those of agro-pastoralists in the sylvopastoral zone, in a context of high rainfall variability, climatic vulnerability and a great trend of deterioration in environmental conditions. It is based on the study of adaptation strategies and the responses and requirements of maintaining production systems. In fact, in a context of deteriorating living conditions for rural populations, the profitability of agricultural activity has diminished considerably and has led producers to a process of seeking financing alternatives through a multitude of initiatives. local which generate dynamics within society (Association, Farmer groups, tontines, microfinance institution). However, the successes and the potential for action remain limited in view of the scale of the needs, and, in this context, the vulnerable situation of farms, in the face of upheavals or climatic shocks, remains a major problem in an area where The living conditions of the populations, in particular those of the farmers, continue to deteriorate. If they are not amplified by outdated or ill-suited farming methods, public funding intended for the agricultural sector is often directed towards productions less exposed to climatic hazards and less mobilizing labor (rice, market gardening, etc) who enroll fewer workers in the rural world. This is the framework for analyzing household strategies and survival. But rather than a paradigm, this approach relies on a conceptual field of choice and real freedom or capability. More specifically, the article discusses, on the one hand, the capacity of households to produce risk reduction approaches (ex-ante), and on the other hand, the implementation of effective strategies (ex-post) in period of shock harmful to living conditions. These strategies have taken place to varying degrees in varying forms and depending on the specificity of households. It is particularly a question of being part of a process of understanding the alternatives developed to cope with the acute living conditions in a region where the frequent recourse to credit access strategies seems to be gaining a foothold and even intensifying. . Thus, the article aims, among other things, to shed light on this issue of adaptation to climate change through the sylvopastoral zone (ZSP), an area par excellence of pastoralism affected by strong climatic instability, but also, like other regions of the country subject to policies of economic liberalism.

Specific pathogens have been implicated in acute and chronic gastrointestinal disease due to compositional changes in intestinal microbiota, and lack of immunity leads puppies and adult dogs susceptible to pathogens causing severe gastroenteritis. Gastroenteritis is an inflammation of stomach and intestine and rupture of epithelial cells leading severe bloody diarrhea. The most significant opportunistic pathogens of gastrointestinal tract are parasites, protozoans, viral agents like Canine Parvovirus, Canine Coronavirus, Canine Distemper virus, Rota virus with bacterial co-infection by Salmonella spp, E. coli, Clostridium, Campylobacter that causes severe gastroenteritis in dogs. Canine parvovirus 2 (CPV-2) infection is highly contagious viral disease in dogs, which is prevalent all over the world and they are highly fatal. Second most contagious intestinal disease in dogs is canine coronavirus infection. The main mode of transmission is by ingestion of infected fecal contaminated material. Salmonellosis caused by Salmonella typhimurium is the most common infectious disease in dogs transmitted by fecal matter contamination in foods such as raw meat, chicken, and also occurs more frequently in latent forms. They also cause secondary infection with viral gastroenteritis.
