The British colonial government was leading the large-scale deforestation of forests for commercial purposes for expansion of their empire. Exploiting the forest wealth while denying the natural rights of the tribal people. Any earlier attempt towards conservation was intended to meet the future requirements of the imperial power. The timber requirements for Royal Navy and Railway lines, the Colonial government strategically expanded forest cover under their jurisdiction. They started forest conservancy by implementing forest laws over the years of their administration for extraction of fine wood. The Indian Forest Act 1865 was enacted by the British to create a state monopoly in the forests and to ensure proper forest management. During the last two decades of the nineteenth century, most of the forest areas of the country were constituted either into reserved forests or protected forests. It effects on Traditional Methods of Forest Management like shifting cultivation, collection of minor forest products, fire wood and grazing. Due to this reason many tribes were revolt against British Administration.

In today's era, with the dominance of technology, there are many methodologies for physically challenged people. The most difficulty faced by physically challenged people is that they have to depend on others for their movement. This paper presents a survey on the modern methodologies for physically disabled people. This survey compares traditional methodologies and modern methodologies. From this survey, we can clearly understand that modern methodologies are the best in the current era. It contains the secondary data of existing modern methodologies and the merits and demerits are distinguished.

The roles undertaken by women and men in society are determined by factors such as culture, values, laws, religion, personal and private relationships between men and women in the society. Women are assumed to have a passive role in society whereas men assume active roles. Although men and women with disabilities experience devaluation, marginalisation, isolation and discrimination, but the two stigmatized statuses converge in the lives of women with disabilities which further diminishes their already devalued gender status. Violence against women and girls is rooted in gender-based discrimination, social norms and gender stereotypes which perpetuate violence. Women with disabilities around the world experience much higher levels of physical, sexual, and psychological violence, for longer periods of time and with worse physical and mental outcome as a consequence of violence than women without disabilities. Disabled women are at a higher risk of suffering physical, verbal or sexual abuse such as rape, molestation, sexual harassment as well as physical torture, isolation, beating etc. Women with mental disabilities, mental illness and hearing impairments are most vulnerable as they find it difficult to identify and speak up against the perpetrators at home and outside. For the present paper 30 working women with disabilities were interviewed in Jammu city. Thus the present paper will focus disabled women and the on the violence faced by disabled women.

Eryngium foetidum commonly known as Culantro has been used in traditional medicine and also an edible food. It is cultivated worldwide being grown as an annual plant in temperate climates. In the present study phytochemical, antioxidant and cytoprotective studies of the whole plant of E. foetidum has been concentrated. Both qualitative and quantitative phytochemical analysis was evaluated for the plant. Antioxidant studies of the plant was carried out using DPPH and ABTS assays respectively. Cytotoxic activity of the plant was analysed against breast cancer cell line (MCF-7) using MTT assay. The qualitative phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, polyphenols and tannins. The quantitative analysis of the methanolic extract revealed the presence of tannins in high amount followed by polyphenols and glycosides. Antioxidant studies of methanolic extract of the plant revealed IC50 values of 62.27mg/L and 53.33mg/L for DPPH and ABTS assays respectively. The results revealed that the plant has significant antioxidant activities. The study also revealed the cytotoxic activity of E. foetidum against the breast cancer cell line (MCF-7). Thus the present study reported that E. foetidum is rich in phytochemicals which is the reason for its antioxidants and its cytotoxic activity.

This paper with the design model and analysis of modern aircraft electrical power system (AEPS) using fuzzy logic control (FLC) technique with implemented proportional integral derivative (PID) control. In order to meet the standards of the of the aircraft, the behaviours of the aircraft electrical power system (AEPS) during load switching is controlled using PID -FLC technique. This technique is mainly suitable for the control of generator control unit, Ac-Dc controlled rectifier. In this proposed paper, the simulation of power MOSFET based Dc-Dc converter forward buck converter has been done in the MATLAB/SIMULINK and their corresponding voltage and current waveform are plotted obtained. To achieve high power factor and to have high efficiency, the advantage of forward buck converter is contained to form a novel forward buck converter. It is capable of operating in forward buck converter. Hance the lesser are highly reduced and the current near the zero crossing of input side is reduced using the balancing capacitor. The variable reactive load is employed to demonstrate the value of hormonic reduced at various value of voltage and current in the system.

In automotive technology, an intake manifold is the component of an engine that transports the air-fuel mixture to the engine cylinders. The main purpose of the intake manifold is to evenly distribute the combustion mixture to each intake port of the engine cylinder and to create the air-fuel mixture unless the engine has direct injection. This review paper mainly focuses on the Design of the Intake Manifold for better efficiency. With the Change of the existing model with the proposed design and by changing the Material to show less Heat transfer to get better Fuel Burning and directly resulting in the greater efficiency of the Car. In this paper, I have studied some papers and also gone through the basics of my topic from various books to understand the phenomena.

Employments of nanotechnology in gadgets and electrical merchandise that do give rise straightforwardly to natural and human wellbeing concern. This is the utilization of artificially created nanoparticles in 'nanomaterials' to make electronic segments or surface coatings for electrical merchandise. Nanomaterials are usually characterized as materials planned and created to have underlying highlights within any one component of 100 nanometers or less. In hardware, various distinctive nanomaterials are now being utilized economically or are being utilized for innovative work purposes. Probably the most regularly utilized nanomaterials for electronic and electrical hardware are carbon nanotubes and quantum dots nanomaterials are being utilized as surface coatings in certain electrical products, principally in the light of the fact that they have against microbial properties. Items previously showcased as having 'hostile to microbial' nanomaterial coatings incorporate fridges, vacuum cleaners, clothes washers, cell phones and PC mice

The traditional method of recruitment of hiring the potential attests to the organisation has witnessed lots of changes due to an increase in the use of the internet. Gone were the days where the employer had the power during the job search, but now the candidates have more power during the job search. From few decades the potential candidates are treated as customers rather than employees. This dramatic change is due to the phenomena of changing in the recruitment process.

Abstract: Plants have some phytochemicals which have capacity to kill pests like mealybug, mites, flies etc. so homemade insecticides made up of plant material are beneficial to farmers and environment because they are cheaper in price and no any environment related threats are found. In present study, the work was carried out related removing mealybug population from 12 infected Hibiscus rosa plants by using different plant based homemade insecticides sprays like: Neem (Azadirachta indica), Aakdo (Calotropis procera), Lal Karen (Nerium oleander), Periwinkle (Winca rosea), Datura (Datura stramonium), Garlic (Allium sativum), Lemon (Citrus Limon), Orange (Citrus sinensis), Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) and Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum). Different plant parts are used in the preparation of these insecticides like flower, leaf, seed, fruit and their parts. During this experiment highest percentage mortality was found in garlic, winca and nerium flower based insecticides treated plants, mostly 3rd instar and full growth female mealybugs were killed by using these. Medium percentage mortality (75%-60%) was found in lemon, clove, calotropis, neem and cinnamon based insecticides. Lowest percentage mortality was found in orange peel and nerium leaf based insecticides treated plants. These obtained results might be helpful in getting safe and good control against cotton mealybug.

In the present generation, social media have emerged as an increasingly popular means for communication, information transfer, gathering and making new connections. The social life of everyone has become associated with online social networks. Day by day the number of users using social media is increasing drastically. Researchers have been studying these online social networks to see the impact they make on the people. These sites have made a drastic change the way we pursue our social life. But all this have provided a way for cyber-attacks such as fake identity, false information, etc. Therefore in this paper, we came up with an idea to build a fake classifier which we have been divided into three different modules in which first module detects the fake profiles that are made on social networking sites, second module detects fake news that is being spread by these particular accounts and third module consists of detecting the fake images posted by these accounts which are being photo shopped. Our related work includes various algorithms that are being implemented in this project in broader aspects and we have used various machine learning algorithms to detect these accounts, news and images. The rapid growth in image generation and manipulation has now reached a point where it is raising questions about the consequences faced by the public. This not only undermines confidence in digital media content but also spreads false information and news. This paper investigates the reality of edited image content, false information and fake profiles as well as how hard it is to find them and how effective strategies can be used to do so.
