 Abstract

Three different floor post-tensioning floor systems have been considered for the present study are un-bonded and bonded post-tensioning for the geometry as flat slab with single and multiple span and flat slab with drop panel. Span of different length as -5mt, 6 mt, 7 mt, 8 mt, 9 mt, 10 mt. have been considered to evaluate different structural parameter. The panel of interior span is considered and model with equivalent frame method. Dead load due to self weight of the structure, live load and post-tensioned load are considered for the analysis. All analysis and design is done for the gravity load. The complete analysis and design of the floor systems have been done in the ADAPT-PT-6.0-an analysis and design programmed for reinforced and post-tensioned concrete structures. Different structural parameters like punching shear, deflection have been considered for different span of the slab. The code provision of ACI-318 have been used for analysis and design of post-tensioned members. For the comparison for bonded and unbounded post tensioning systems, parameters considered are amount of PT reinforcement, amount of non-prestressed reinforcement, slab thickness, stress developed in tendon at ultimate load.

 Abstract

Available encryption is a basic research region in circulated processing. In any case, most existing viable and solid cipher text look for plans rely upon catchphrases or shallow semantic parsing, which are not adequately keen to meet with clients' interest desire. Thusly, in this paper, we propose a substance careful chase plot, which can make semantic inquiry more splendid. At first, we introduce connected diagrams (CGs) as a data depiction instrument. By then, we show our two plan in light of CGs agreeing to various circumstances. Remembering the true objective to coordinate numerical estimation, we move one of a kind CGs into their straight casing with some change and diagram to numerical vectors. Second, we use the innovation of multi-catchphrase situated look for over encoded cloud information as the start against two hazard models and raise PRSCG and PRSCG-TF to decide the issue of insurance sparing shrewd semantic look in light of CGs. Finally, we pick a bona fide world informational index: CNN educational record to test our arrangement. We in like manner examine the security and capability of proposed plots in detail. The test occurs show that our proposed plans are capable.

 Abstract

FDI is an important source, a cradle of development and an essential component in the growth strategy of both developed and developing countries and hence the policies are designed and framed in such a mannerso as to stimulate inward FDI. It is a major source of finance from foreign countries which means that countries with meagre amounts of capital can attract finance influx from other wealthier countries. FDI has been one of the crucial player in China's exponential economic growth. It creates a lucrative/profitable situation for both - the host and the home countries. It promotes an open business climate, and helps in building advanced technologies and promotes advanced employee training programs, besides helping Government revenue to multiply. FDI inflow in the last two and a half decades, stimulated by globalization and liberalization of the Indian economy has played a complementary role in bridging the gap and filling the massive lag between domestic investments and saving. It is a preferred source of funds from foreign countries for the simple reason that they are not debt creating and are not volatile thus reducing the associated risk and their returns depend upon the projects financed by the investor, which means that the amount of return is in control of the investor to a certain degree.

 Abstract

With the expansion of Internet usage, E -banking has become one of the most revolutionized components of today's economic growth. E-banking is a powerful value-added tool to attract new customers and retain the existing ones. With the proliferation of internet and computer usage, the electronic delivery of e-banking service has become ideal for banks to meet customer's expectations (Poon, 2008). Besides, it helps in eliminating costly paper handling and teller interactions in the increasingly competitive banking environment. The development of e-banking has become a priority for core advantage. The potential competitive advantage of e-banking lies in the areas of cost reduction and satisfaction of consumer needs. There are an increasing number of the various types of new financial distribution channels due to the innovation of extensive technology and advancement in the telecommunications sector. Banks attempt to gain competitive advantage in today's dynamic environment, which must therefore meld technology into building relationship and marketing activities (Moriarty et al., 1983).

 Abstract

Today Businesses are an integral part of the communities. Michael Sabia, President and Chief Executive Officer of BCE Inc., has said, "Corporations are also social institutions. The role of business, according to this model, is to create value for its shareholders and also creates value for society, manifesting itself as a win-win proposition. Corporate success is highly based on continued good relations with a wide range of individuals, groups and institutions. Corporate Social Responsibility plays vital role in winning the customer confidence that will help growing the business. Many organizations conduct campaigns to create awareness among corporate, civic bodies, and government bodies about the importance of corporate social responsibility. The term corporate responsibility has been captioned under many names including corporate citizenship, social responsibility.CSR as described by Lord Holme and Richard Watts in ‘Making Good Business Sense’. Society began to expect business to voluntarily participate in solving societal problems whether they had caused those problems or not. Report on Business Magazine recently noted that "many business leaders now believe that doing good for others means doing good for shareholders as well." Corporate social responsibility is a process in which all companies come together as one and take part in the welfare of the society. It is often referred to as business responsibility and an organization’s action on environmental, ethical, social and economic issues. New legal mandates were imposed to ensure equal employment opportunities, product safety, worker safety, and environmental protection. Companies with high CSR standards are able to demonstrate their responsibilities to the stock holders, employees, customers, and the general public. As per United Nations and the European Commission, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) leads to triple bottom-line: profits, protection of environment and fight for social justice. Economist and philosopher Adam Smith suggested that the needs and desires of society could best be met by the free interaction of individuals and organizations in the marketplace. However, it is still in nascent stage in India. A recent survey reveals that 79 percent of Americans prefer to buy products of companies that actively engage in corporate social responsibility events. In this connection Indian business world should go beyond their economic and legal obligations to establish mutual trust and accept responsibilities related to the betterment of society. The papers discuss the role of corporate social responsibility. Paper also underlines the major issues/challenges faced by Indian firms, and suggests remedial measures for effective implementation of CSR initiatives

 Abstract

With recent and advanced technological development in agriculture hybrid seed production has become more complex so proper planning requires for successful operation, The hybrid seed production is systematically organized, carefully planned and cross- pollinated crops give higher yield, hence to improve crop productivity, produce quality of seed out of their resources. It is the deliberate and conscious effort on the part of seed grower to think about the seed programme in advance and adjust them according to new knowledge on technological development , changes in physical and economic situations, price structure, etc. To increase agricultural production, viability of quality seed is one of the pre requisite, Neither the poor quality seed of superior variety nor the higher quality seed of inferior variety can serve the former satisfaction, seeds are very vital and dynamic instrument for increasing agriculture production, A grain of corn is an example of single seeded fruit that is known as seed. It is a magnificent invention of nature, which are the basic and recurring sources of food production.

 Abstract

Tire retreading is of huge size business so from the safety point of view quality standards should be of great importance. Tire failures during running condition is a serious point to be studied. One of the reasons for failures is the growth of flaws in tire rubber. In this paper, we have studied the growth of crack due to tearing energy. A sample 15.0cm*2.5cm*0.3cm, of rubber, is taken between sidewall and belt edge of the retreaded tire. 2 mm crack at the center of the edge is cut by sharp razor along 15.0cm. Testing is done on the universal testing machine at a strain of 10%. A graph is plotted between stress v/s strain for different crack lengths for R =0 at uniaxial loading cycles with frequency 5 Hz. Strain energy density is calculated from the area under the curve. .A mathematical model is developed for crack growth and tearing energy.
