Purpose- The objective of this paper is to provide the detailed knowledge based on the empirical studies on Integrated Marketing Communications. This paper aims firstly, to cover the evolution of IMC including the definitions of IMC. Secondly, to identify the barriers while implementing the IMC by the organizations and advertising agencies over the three decades. Methodology - This paper is based on a review of literature, by taking the articles from different databases (EBSCO, Scopus,) over the last decades (1991-2020). Findings- The study has found that over the three decades (1991-2020) It has been observed that the IMC has been defined differently by diverse authors in the past three decades wherein, Don.E Schultz; Seric and Gill & Lucia Porcu have contributed significantly while defining the definitions in three phases respectively. The study has categories barriers into four groups namely- conceptual issues, turf wars, organizational culture and stiff organizational structure. Research limitations- This research is limited to secondary data and few papers. Future studies should review a greater number of studies to get represent able results. Originality: This paper has a novel contribution by filling the existing gap. Firstly, this paper covers definitions evolved over the time 1991 to 2020, as existing studies have neglected the evolving definitions of IMC from 2008 onwards. Moreover, the study helps to identify the obstacles faced by the agencies and organization while IMC implementation.

This research paper explores the use of five different materials, including Gray Cast Iron (FG 350), Malleable Cast Iron (Whiteheart), Bronze (Sand Cast), Steel (30C8), and Cast Steel (Grade-1) Hardened & Tempered, for designing spur gears based on strength and wear criteria. The study varied the number of teeth from 17 to 25 and drew graphs for beam strength, wear strength, and total weight of the pair with the material as the legend. The results show that increasing the number of teeth improves strength irrespective of the material. Steel exhibits the highest beam strength, while Malleable Cast Iron (Whiteheart) has the lowest. Gray Cast Iron provides the maximum wear strength, while Bronze has the least wear strength. Furthermore, the overall weight of the pair is highest for Bronze and lowest for Gray Cast Iron. These findings can assist engineers in selecting appropriate materials for spur gear design, optimizing their performance and weight characteristics.

Pain is a human response to illness; it is experienced by patients suffering from a broad spectrum of diseases. The International Association for the Study of Pain defines pain as "an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage, or described in terms of such damage". Convenient sampling technique was used to select 100 staff nurses working at selected hospitals of Udupi. Inventory used are Demographic Proforma and Structured knowledge Questionnaire Likert scale to assess the knowledge of nurses regarding benefits of therapeutic foot massage. Ethical clearance and administrative permission were obtained prior to the study. Overall assessment of knowledge score of nurses in that majority 66 (66%) staff nurses had poor knowledge level, 28 (28%) staff nurses had moderate knowledge, 6 (6%) staff nurses had good knowledge and none of them had excellent knowledge on therapeutic foot massage. Area-wise analysis of Knowledge of staff nurses regarding therapeutic foot massage shows that overall knowledge mean was 8.87 with standard deviation of 2.801 and mean percentage was 39.62. Further, there was no association of knowledge scores with selected demographic variables. The variables namely age, gender, educational qualification, years of experience, previous knowledge and source of information at 0.05 level of significance, do not show any significant association. The study concluded that majority of staff nurses had lack of knowledge regarding therapeutic foot massage. Hence there is a need to improve knowledge of the nurses regarding therapeutic foot massage.

ABSTRACT In the recent years, scientific and technological advancements have been made in the research and development of novel drug delivery systems by overcoming physiological troubles such as short gastric residence times and unpredictable gastric emptying times. Gastro retentive drug delivery systems are the systems which are retained in the stomach for a longer period of time and thereby improve the bioavailability of drugs. Floating drug delivery system is one of the several techniques currently used to formulate a successful gastro retentive drug delivery system. Floating drug delivery systems (FDDS) have a bulk density less than gastric fluids and so remain buoyant in the stomach without affecting the gastric emptying rate for a prolonged period of time. While the system is floating on the gastric contents the drug is released slowly at the desired rate from the system. After release of drug, the residual system is emptied from the stomach. This results in an increased GRT and a better control of the fluctuations in plasma drug concentration. In the present research we have studied pea nut husk powder as a floating agent. Floating tablets were prepared by direct compression method using Atenolol and in various concentrations of the polymers HPMC K100M and Peanut Husk powder. Among three formulations F1 has shown a drug release of 94.2% after 12hrs and F1 has shown a floating lag time of 1.07mins.Based on in vitro dissolution studies and floating studies, increased concentration of peanut husk powder improves the floating nature but drug release is retarded due to increase in concentration of HPMC K100M. The optimized formulation followed Higuchi kinetics. It can be concluded that peanut husk powder can be a promising low density material in the formulation of gastro retentive floating drug delivery systems in combination with synthetic polymer HPMC K100M.

This research paper aims to investigate the level of awareness and understanding among investors about mutual funds and hedge funds. The study involved conducting a survey of 101 investors using a structured questionnaire to collect data. The results showed that most respondents had heard of mutual funds, but few had knowledge of hedge funds. In addition, the study found that investors who were knowledgeable about hedge funds had higher levels of financial literacy and investment experience. The study also found that financial advisors, family and friends, and online sources were the main sources of information about mutual funds and hedge funds. The findings suggest that more education and awareness about hedge funds is needed, especially among investors who are less financially literate or inexperienced in investing. The research paper concludes that educating investors about mutual funds and hedge funds will help them make informed investment decisions and achieve their financial goals.

This research focused on India's shrimp culturing system, which is no less essential than shrimp culturing in other nations. India ranks second in aquaculture farming, however there has been a significant fall in shrimp production from 2019-21. Andra Pradesh is India's top shrimp-producing state. The shrimp causes various illnesses, which prevents production from reaching its height in India. Climate, location, land, water parameters, correct feed, probiotics, and environmental characteristics are just a few of the aspects that shrimp growers must consider. Furthermore, illness outbreaks are a serious impediment. Litopenaeus vannamei, a white shrimp farmed in the Bhal area near Bhavnagar, was heavily affected with blackish spot infections despite the use of probiotics and strict adherence to environmental criteria that promote shrimp growth. In this investigation, samples were collected, and white shrimp from infected and healthy shrimps were isolated and compared. After homological, phylogenetic, and morphological analysis, the organism identified from diseased shrimp was Acinetobacter indicus CIP 110367 strain A648 and Bacillus subtilis strain NCDO 1769 from healthy shrimp gut flora.

Corporate Governance at moment the conception of Corporate Governance has taken a new dimension due to globalization and liberalization. With the opening up of frugality and to be in line with WTO conditions, if the Indian corporate has to survive and succeed amidst adding competition encyclopedically, it can only be through translucency in operations. Excellence in terms of client satisfaction, return, product and service, return to promoters and social liabilities towards society and people cannot be achieved without rehearsing good commercial governance. The main objective of Corporate Governance is to enhance the long-term shareholder value while guarding the interests of other stakeholders, maximizing long-term shareholder value legally and ethically, ensuring fairness, courtesy and quality in all deals within and outside the bank with guests, workers, investors, partners, competitors, the government and the society. The system of corporate governance is important for banks in India because the majority of the banks is in the public sector, where they aren't only competing with one another but with other players in the banking system as well as in the financial services system including Financial Institutions, collective finances and other financial intermediaries Further, with restrictive support available from the govt. for further capitalization of banks, numerous banks may have to go for public issues, leading to the transformation of power. This paper focuses on corporate governance in the banking sector and how they cleave to Corporate Governance practices. It further indicates the part and relationship of corporate governance with the Indian Banking Sector. Both private and public sector banks are clinging to obligatory conditions of corporate Governance attributes as a result it is bringing further transparency and minimizing the chances of fraud and malpractices
