In Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANET), a group of wireless mobile nodes, dynamically constructed without the use of any existing network infrastructure. In such a network, it is quite a challenging task to route a packet efficiently from a source to destination and so various routing protocols have been developed, viz., Ad-Hoc on Demand Distance Vector Routing (AODV), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), and Destination Sequenced Distance-Vector Routing (DSDV). In this paper, these popular protocols have first been simulated in NS2 Simulator and the results are compared on the basis of some performance metrics such as End to End Delay, Throughput and Packet loss so as to suggest the best routing protocol could establish an best suited effective path from source to the destination. To improve the path establishment in a protocol, a hybrid technique has also been proposed.

With the advancement in technology, there has been an increasing use of sheet metal components and press tools serve as one of the widely used tool for operations on sheet metals. As the name itself suggests, it is used to produce sheet metal components of different sizes and shapes with a predetermined force. Press tools are used for continuous mass production of components. This leads to the requirement for the use of a tool material that possesses high strength which would be able to withstand repeated heavy loads. Improper selection of tool material and design procedure could incur heavy loss, distorted parts, production risk etc. Prior modeling and analysis of the complete press tool in CAD and CAE software would provide and effective tool to overcome these uncertainties. As far as this project is concerned; a progressive die is designed and modeled using CATIA for manufacturing a handle bracket component. Several operations can be performed in series in a progressive tool as the stock registers at different workstations during each stroke leading to the development of the final component. The corresponding operations to produce a handle bracket include blanking and punching followed by bending operations respectively. In this work, D3 steel is chosen as the punch and the die material for the progressive press tool and finally static analysis is performed using ANSYS software to check the safety of the design.

Abstract : anthropogenic activities on static water bodies deteriorate the water quality and leads to the accumulation of toxic chemicals and sediments and also to the shrinkage of catchment area. Pollution includes point sources such as emission, effluence and solid discharge and non-point sources such as soluble salt (natural and artificial), use of insecticides pesticides and municipal waste in agriculture. Phytoremediation is an efficient, environment friendly and low cost technology which uses plants or trees to clean up soil and water, contaminated with heavy metals or organic contaminants such as solvents, crude oil and other toxic compounds from contaminated environments. This technology is useful for soil and water remediation. It has gained increasing attention since last decade as emerging cheaper technology. This natural ability of phytoplants can be exploited as the alternative for the conventional chemical methods of purification. It is attractive due to its low cost and versatility. This technology uses special type of plants to decontaminate soil or water by inactivating metals in the rhizosphere or translocating them in the aerial plants. Water samples from different static bodies which shows variation in degree of pollution are initially tested in laboratory for the analysis of physical chemical and biological contaminants .Few varieties of phytoplants are grown in buoyant tubes placed on the water surface so that they act as sponges to clean , desalinate and mitigate the chemicals .After a certain period of time again the water samples are taken and tested .The result shows effective declination in the degree of contamination. Finally, issues with the disposal of the toxic material inside the plant still remain. To start with some of the absorbed waste will naturally decompose with the plants. However chemicals, radioactive isotopes and heavy metals will require special treatment when the plants die. A new method of handling this plant waste is to use mushroom spores. Mushrooms produce a thin thread like network of roots called mycelium which produces enzymes which breakdown a great many contaminants. So in essence we use a plant to clean a plant. Researches have been conducted on phytoremediation property of plants one of which is by Muhammad Aqeel Ashraf etal(2011) deals with the removal of heavy metals and contaminants from soil and water. We thought this to be the suitable alternative for present purification methods of still water

Abstract: Education is regarded as an important instrument to bring about social change. It is essential for the mental, physical, emotional and intellectual development of the human beings. It is a weapon for boosting the social and economic development of the nation. Education helps us to have better opportunity for development. Women education is very important for giving them the rights and privileges for uplifting them self from the traditional bondage of the society. Both men and women are the two wheels of the society. Economic development of a country depends primarily on both the shoulders of human beings. Women were the major producers of food, clothing, crafts and many different tools through most of the human history. Women participate in innumerable activities for the survival of their families. Entrepreneurship is the dynamic process of creating incremental wealth. Entrepreneurship happens to be one of the best ways towards self sufficiency and poverty alleviation for women. The involvement of women in entrepreneurial activities would ensure effective utilization of labour, generation of income and hence improvement in quality of life. Economic empowerment of women by entrepreneurial activities led to the empowerment of women in many things such as socio-economic opportunity, property rights, political representation, social equality, personal right, family development, community development and at last the nation development. In this paper an attempt has been made to study how education of women led to the women entrepreneurs in Kokrajhar district.

Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) is a control system architecture which makes use of computers, networked data communications and graphical user interfaces for high level process supervisory management, also uses other peripheral devices such as programmable logic controllers and discrete PID controllers to interface to the process plant or machinery. The operator interfaces which enables monitoring and the issuing of process commands, such as controller set point changes, are handled though the SCADA computer system. However the real time control logic or controller calculations are performed by networked modules which are connected to the field sensors and actuators. The proposed review paper provides an insight of SCADA systems for electrical and power systems. The review also provides a comparative analysis of various research methodologies that have been accomplished in the said area.

Cloud computing is a generic term used for the delivery of hosted services over the Internet. It provides an infrastructure for resource sharing, software hosting and service delivering in a pay as you go model which makes it easy and economical. It is a challenge in cloud computing to distribute work load among all incoming requests and balance those requests. To resolve this Load balancing technique is used which uses multiple nodes and distributes dynamic workload among the nodes so that no single node is under loaded or over loaded. Load balancing allows the resources to be used aptly which enhance the performance of the system. This paper compares the performance of Round robin, ESCE and Throttled load balancing algorithms along with different service broker policies i.e. Closest datacenter, Optimize Response time and Reconfigure dynamically with load. A Cloud Analyst simulator is used to simulate the scenarios and results will specify finest possible combination on the basis of Overall Response Time and Data Processing Time.

Water is the basic need for the existence of life on earth. In spite of 70% water on earth majority of water is not suitable for drinking purpose. There is a huge demand of clean water as it is used for a variety of purpose such as drinking, bathing, cleaning, cooking etc. Impurities present in water can cause serious health issues that can damage the life of human beings. The chief function of the automatic drainage system is to collect, transport, as well as dispose the solid waste in the waste bucket by the help of claws. Solid waste in drainage water contains garbage, sludge empty, bottles, plastic carry bags, papers etc. these Impurities in drainage water can lead to blockage of the drainage system. This project automatically cleans the water in the drainage system each time any impurity comes near the drainage system claws grasping the solid waste which is driven by the chain sprocket and throwing into the waste bucket to keep away from blockage. It even reduces the cost of manual labour as well as reduces the threat to human life. In the proposed concept is to replace the manual work in drainage cleaning by automated system. Drainage pipes are using for the disposal but in some cases due to clotting or blocking of waste need to clean the pipes of drainage every time To overcome this problem and to save human life. The device is placed across drain so that only water flow through lower grids. Waste like bottle, etc. Floating waste in drain is lifted by teeth which are connected to chain. This chain of the sprocket is connected by gears driven by motor. The energy provided to motor by solar panel in which photovoltaic cell connected to motor. When motor runs the chain starts to circulate making teeth to lift up. The waste materials are lifted by teeth lies on the bucket and are stored in waste storage tank.
