ABSTRACT: Digital preservation has become indispensable in safeguarding the accessibility and longevity of digital content amidst rapid technological evolution. This article examines the multifaceted challenges confronting digital curators, particularly within library contexts, and explores the transformative impact of advanced 3D scanning technologies. Libraries, crucial repositories of digital materials, face significant hurdles in transitioning from traditional to digital formats, necessitating robust preservation strategies to mitigate risks associated with media failures, technological obsolescence, and the impermanence of web content. The proliferation of web-based information sources further accentuates the need for libraries to adapt policies and practices effectively. Recent advancements in 3D scanning technologies offer promising solutions, empowering users to create accurate digital replicas of cultural artifacts and architectural wonders with unprecedented ease and precision. Key technologies such as Microsoft Kinect, Scanify Fuel 3D, Google Project Tango, and Artec Eva and Spider are explored in detail, highlighting their capabilities and applications in digital preservation efforts. Despite these innovations, challenges persist, including limited implementation and regulatory obstacles. Initiatives aimed at promoting the adoption of digital preservation technologies are essential to safeguard invaluable cultural heritage and knowledge resources. Achieving a balance between centralized information management structures and harnessing the internet's potential for communication and engagement remains a pivotal challenge for internet governance. Through comprehensive preservation strategies and cutting-edge technologies, libraries can continue their vital role as custodians of knowledge in the digital age.

The real and imaginary parts of dielectric constant (?? and ??) of artificially contaminated dry and moist soil (contaminated with crude oil) are determined, percentage concentration of crude oil varying 0.0% to 10.0% gravimetrically. ?? and ?? of soil are determined at 34.50C temperature and at a single microwave frequency 9.78 GHz by wave guide cell method. It was observed that ?? and ?? increases as percentage concentration of crude oil in the soil increase but the effect of crude oil mixing on dielectric properties is more significant for moist soils. ?? of moist soil is strongly correlated with contamination level of soil. The parameter "tangent loss" related to the microwave heating of soil is also measured regarding reclamation of soil.

"People with disabilities are vulnerable because of the many barriers we face: attitudinal, physical, and financial. Addressing these barriers is within our reach and we have a moral duty to do so...... But most important, addressing these barriers will unlock the potential of so many people with so much to contribute to the world. Governments everywhere can no longer overlook the hundreds of millions of people with disabilities who are denied access to health, rehabilitation, support, education, and employment--and never get the chance to shine".

The concept of emotional intelligence implies humans are both rational and emotional. Coping abilities in life are dependent on the integrative functioning of both rational and emotional capacities. Emotional is the unique repertoire of emotional skills that a person uses to navigate the everyday challenges of life. The educational system and programs must make efforts for traning the emotions of both the students and teachers. There are different popular model of emotional quotient were given by Goleman, Reuven Bar-on, Cooper etc. were used even today for the development of emotional intelligence scale also this scale developed by many Indian psychologists and researchers. By considering various factors, the researcher has developed, constructed and validate the emotional intelligence Scale. The researcher has used systematic procedure for the development of the scale. The present study intends to assess the EQ of students of secondary school level. The present scale consists of 113 of which 94 statements are positively worded and 19 statements are negatively worded. The scale covers different dimensions such as self-Awareness, self- Regulation, motivation, Empathy and Social skills. The reliability of the scale is determined by calculating reliability coefficient on a sample of 500 Students. The statistical properties of the scale as found out by Chronbach alpha, split half method. The scale has high content validity. The present emotional intelligence scale is very useful to access emotional intelligence of students of secondary school level. Hence it has high educational implications.

For detecting the incidence and quantifying the severity of variability in crops, image-based plant disease detection is one of the most important activities in precision agriculture. Pathogen-caused diseases account for 70 percent to 80 percent of the variabilities, with 60 percent to 70 percent appearing on the leaves compared to the stem and fruits. This study uses leaf image data to conduct a comparative comparison of model implementation for plant disease diagnosis. Until recently, most of these image processing algorithms relied on what some referred to as "shallow" machine learning architectures, and some still do. The DL network is quickly becoming the gold standard for image recognition and pattern analysis research. Regardless, there aren't many research on its use in detecting disease in plant leaves. Thus, we used conventional settings and took into account the three critical elements of architecture, processing capacity, and the amount of training data in our study on a large plant leaf disease picture dataset. In a developing agricultural economy like India, early detection of plant leaf detection is critical. Leaf diseases in plants must be diagnosed at an early stage and predictive techniques implemented to make them safe and avoid losses to the agri-based economy, not only as an agricultural economy but also as one with a big population to feed. This work proposes to identify Leaf disease utilising image processing techniques based on image segmentation, clustering, and image detection algorithms, all of which contribute to a reliable, safe, and accurate leaf disease detection system with specialisation.

Plants require adequate nutrient content for a total as well as natural life cycle. Six macronutrients such as nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur and magnesium are important for the natural and healthy rise of plants. Regular activities with a lack of nutrients in plants lead to transportation difficulties and ultimately affect crop. Plants show the definite lack of nutrient on their leaves, fruits with notable differences in pattern. Our research suggested is to provide an automated and economically viable method for detecting defects nutritional conditions. Our system uses helpful information to forecast performance of crops. The dataset for faulty leaves and healthy leaves is developed with the help of the RGB Color Extraction Analysis Technique, Disclosure of texture in real time, Identification of bottom edge etc. This dataset will allow supervised machine learning to predict and identify accurate shortages of vitamins and healthy plants to prohibit growth rates.

There have been many times that if a person wants to use the school or institute's laboratory, they have to walk to the labs and check if they are occupied or not. The whole journey from a class or a staff room can be very exhausting and also sometimes annoying. So we thought of making and establishing a system that helps us know just by a click if the labs are in use or not and if not they can be booked so the other person does not have to be disappointed if they show up to check for the vacant labs. The lab reservation system in our database based project was done with help of python language. It is very easily accessible as it can be used from any digital smartphone or desktop. This project is very useful for people to book or cancel?lab slots by sitting in one place with one cell phone in their hand. This project can be modified for various reservations. The one to book can see the teacher who has booked and the number of students being present in the lab at the particular period.
