Diasporic literature deals with the themes such as alienation, exile, loneliness, cultural conflicts and attempts to absorb into the foreign culture. A study of the diasporic writings exposes that the common characteristics in the writings of the old diaspora and the new diaspora include nostalgia, homesickness, and the pains owing to being far from the homeland. There are a large number of writers in Indian English literature who talk about various diasporic experiences in their writings. The field of Indian Chick Literature also includes the diasporic experiences of Indian heroines. Indian Chick Literature illustrates the struggle of the female protagonists for their career as well as to search Mr. Right. But it depicts all these issues with a lighthearted and often comical tone. This paper tries to analyze various diasporic experiences by discussing the novels Salaam Paris and The Village Bride of Beverly Hills by Kavita Daswani who is one of the contemporary diasporic writers. Daswani, a California-based writer, discovers interesting shades of diaspora in Indian Chick Lit. Her novels embody the changes taking place in the Diaspora Indian communities, particularly concerning the institutions like marriage, role of wife in the families, and growing opportunities for women.

The study was conducted in Hisar district of Haryana State during the year 2018-19. Hisar district was selected purposively keeping in view the convenience of the researches as the study required frequent visits for data collection. From Hisar district, one block was selected randomly. Selected block was Hisar-II. From Hisar-II, two villages were selected randomly viz. Jakhod Khera and Malapur. From each of the selected villages, 50 households were selected randomly. Respondent for data collection was male head of the household from each of the selected household and his wife. Thus sample size for the present study was 200 i.e. 100 men and 100 women. The Misuse of the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act (1971) started after the emergence of pre-natal diagnostic techniques which necessitated passing of the Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Regulation and Prevention of Misuse) Act, 1994. In the present study, an effort was made to know the awareness of the respondents about this Act. They were asked as to whether they were aware of any law related to pre-natal diagnostic techniques. As many as 79.50 per cent of the respondents were aware that such a law exists. Though they did not know its name but they knew that a law is there preventing use of pre-natal diagnostic techniques and subsequent abortion if the foetus is female.

This study has been undertaken to investigate the ever puzzling and debatable question that whether the main protagonist, Prospero, of the drama, The Tempest by the Bard is he himself? There are diverse views and opinions regarding the same where some critics have found Prospero to be a mouthpiece of Shakespeare while there are a whole set of people finding this similarity to be a fleeting and superficial one. The current study resolves to understand the question under certain set criteria and heads to reach to a conclusion which is valid and acceptable in general.

Sinclair Lewis, the famous satirist of the 1920s, who won the Nobel Prize in 1930, in his novel Babbitt presents the American materialist adventure which he critiques. Though this kind of materialism is manifest in the capitalist spirit, but Lewis instead of making a satiric attack on American capitalism, makes a caricature on the materialist man Babbitt who when looks back at his materialist adventure finds himself to be hollow. It is to be understood here that the society is full of Babbitts and Lewis through a realist portrayal of Babbittic society is making us aware of the pitfalls of such materialist pursuit(s). In other words, it can be said that Sinclair Lewis social realist approach towards writing finds artistic manifestation in Babbitt.

Security automation has been a major issue for many companies in the fight against rising cyber threats enabled by new cloud network attacks and proliferating the Internet of Things. A recent survey by the threat detection and hunting company Fidelis Cybersecurity has revealed this trend among 300 CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, architects, engineers, and analysts studied in a range of industries. More than half of the professionals analyzed (57 percent) said that their companies are concerned with a lack of automation [21]. Cybersecurity automation is one of the developments in information technology. Automating human-driven, and repeatable processes will focus on the more productive problem - solving tasks within organizations and individuals. Focusing on these issues will foster innovation and contribute to a more robust organization from a cyber-security point of view. Automation also adds to the complexity of information systems in an organization and as malicious targets grow, cybersecurity initiatives must be prepared to implement automated cybersecurity solutions. As long as the information is available, the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the cybersecurity programs must be safeguarded [2].

The origin of Indian republic dates back to the 6 century B.C. The Republican trend existed through almost all aspects of life. The concept of a republic took place much earlier than that of the sabhas and samitis of the vedic age, when the western world had not even known organised political life. Ancient Indian thinkers used the term Gana or Sangh to denote the republic. The real power in this system of government lies in the hands of tribal obigarchies. The most powerful non monarchical state at this time was the Vrijian confederacy of which the chief element was the tribe of the Licchavis. The republican system was based on firm internal organisations, principals of equality , justice ,unity, material prosperity and strong military strength. A survey of the system suggests that republican form of government had faith in decentralisations of power. Perhaps this was one of the reason for the inherent weakness of the system.

The socio-economic and demographic factors are often seen as critical factors influencing the involvement of women in managing their households and enterprises and also play an important role in developing and growth of women. It was therefore essential to study socio-economic characteristics to draw any meaningful conclusion on women activities which are being influenced by SHGs and MFIs in Jaipur district, Rajasthan. An attempt is made to focus on the Socio-Economic characteristics of women. There is also a need to identify the problems that are being faced by women so that proper and structured programmes are being introduced by the government to support women in all areas. The MFI sector in the state is trying to achieve and reach the national average value so that it gets counted in one of the developed states in the country.

India as a developing country does not have any commitments or responsibilities at present for reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases such as CO2 that lead to global warming, pressure is increasing on India and other large, rapidly developing countries like China and Brazil to adopt a more protective role. The sources cited in this research paper are mainly taken from the internet. However, as the main focus of this article is on policies and not on science, I hope that this research paper does not contain ambiguities concerning policies. There is scientific consensus that the global climate is changing, with rising surface temperatures, melting ice and snow, rising sea levels, and increasing climate variability. These changes are expected to have substantial impacts on human health. There are known, effective public health responses for many of these impacts, but the scope, timeline, and complexity of climate change are unprecedented. We propose a public health approach to climate change, based on the essential public health services, that extends to both clinical and population health services and emphasizes the coordination of government agencies (federal, state, and local), academia, the private sector, and nongovernmental organizations.

The synthesis of some Co(II) complexes with acid Schiff bases are reported here. These Schiff bases were derived by condensing carbonyl oximes and amines like Dithio biurets The characterization of the complexes was done on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductivity, spectral studies like IR and Electronic and Anti-bacterial activity. On the basis of these analysis it was concluded that Co(II) complexes exhibit Octahedral binuclear geometry with M2L2Cl24H2O stoichiometry. The molar conductivity data indicate that the complexes are non-electrolytic in nature. The metal complexes have been screened for their antibacterial activity.

Cement manufacturing industries emits 5% of global carbon di-oxide which in turns leads to the main causes for the global warming. To reduce the effects we can replace the cement with industrial by- product like silica fume, fly-ash and so on. In this paper we have replaced cement totally with silica fume and fly-ash. By replacing with the proportions of fly-ash (80%) and Silica fume (20%), it showed a greater strength result.
