Abstract Agriculture is the mainstay of the Indian Economy. The agricultural output, however, depends on the proper use of the land. So, it is very important to understand the subject Land Utilization. The main objective of the paper is to study Land use patterns of Hisar. Five villages have been selected, one each from every tehsil of Hisar district. These five villages are as following Rajthal (Narnaud Tehsil), Jakhod Khera (Hisar Tehsil), Shekhpura (Hansi Tehsil), Sadalpur (Adampur Tehsil), Babua (Barwala Tehsil).

Abstract The Vakatakas were contemporaneous of the Guptas. The Vakatakas like the Guptas were Brahmans themselves (belonging to the, Vishnuvriddha gotra) were great champions of the Brahmanical religion and performed numerous Vedic sacrifices. One of the features of the Vakataka age is the growth of Shaivism. In this paper some of the epigraphical and sculptural evidence from various sites are assembled and discussed which reveals that Vakataka rulers were predominantly Maheshvaras. This paper will focus on epigraphical evidences related to Shaivism and due importance is given to the religious centers with their artistic elements. Patronage pattern as evident from the epigraphical record clearly shows the direct involvement of the Vakataka monarchs of Eastern branch in excavating the shrines and temples.

Job satisfaction is a goal that many employees strive for but few achieve. Organizations must understand the factors contributing to employee happiness and how they affect company performance. Work stress and employee job satisfaction are two essential workplace issues for modern organizations. This research study investigated the impact of work stress on bank employees' job satisfaction to identify this scenario in banks. It also looked at the relationship between work stress and job satisfaction among bank employees. In order to analyze data, ANOVA and Correlation analysis were used on a sample of 298 SBI and ICICI bank employees, and the results showed that work stress has an impact on job satisfaction, and both work stress and job satisfaction were negatively correlated.

viable for research local area as of late sought after and versatile applications. The hubs of WSN are restricted with their energy which requires the energy to be used in proficient way. The variable of energy consumption would be decreased by gathering the hubs to help steering and information assortment. Various calculations suggested towards the energy the board in various circumstances. This exploration work proposes a Clustering based Energy Efficient Routing (CEER) method to help successful information assortment in WSN. The strategy parts the whole organization district into number of areas and bunches where each group has single Cluster Head (CH). The hubs of WSN are assembled in progressive level which performs steering through the CH distinguished which is pivoted at each timestamp as per energy conditions. CEER approach has been recreated under various situations, and its exhibition is contrasted and existing grouping algorithms. The performance of CEER protocol shows improvement in number alive nodes with respect to iterations and increased packet delivery ratio.

Aluminium has very unique properties of light weight and corrosion resistance and due to this it becomes very interesting metal in the field of engineering. Mainly this paper deals with effect and optimization of certain range of values of process parameters during TIG welding of aluminium alloy 7075. In the first cycle of experiment the effect of values (in wide range) of gas flow rate and welding current during TIG welding of Aluminium alloy 7075 has been found out on its mechanical properties such as ultimate tensile strength and hardness. Visual inspection and dye penetrate test also has been performed for every sample of welding. From the results for ultimate tensile strength obtained in first cycle of experiment, a try has been made to optimize process parameters in second cycle of experiment by narrowing the range of values of gas flow rate and welding current. Finally the near optimal values of gas flow rate and welding current has been found to get maximum UTS.

India, with a rich history & legacy of Ayurveda, has been using this ancient repository of plants and their extracts for their medicinal properties. The objective of this study is to study the important chemicals and evaluate the potential of Trachyspermum ammi seeds for their medicinal properties. T. ammi is a native of Egypt and has been cultivated in different regions in South & West Asia such as Iraq, Afghanistan, and India. The results of our analysis showed the presence of flavonoids & saponins in T. aami. Similarly, alkaloids, phenols, glycosides, & carbohydrates also seemed to be present. Further, proteins, terpenoids, & tannins presence were found in certain extracts. These constituents have been known to show different medicinal properties for humans and their presence clearly indicates that extracts from T. ammi can be leveraged for them. Further, antimicrobial activity was also observed and thus it can serve as a source of obtaining novel compounds for the treatment of infectious diseases.

ABSTRACT This chapter will provide an overview of Operations Research (O.R.) from the perspective of an industrial engineer. This chapter focuses on the basic philosophy of O.R. and the so-called "O.R. approach" to solving design and operational problems commonly encountered by industrial engineers. In its most basic form, O.R. may be viewed as a scientific approach to solving problems; it abstracts the essential elements of the problem into a model, which is then analysed to yield an optimal solution for implementation. The mathematical details and the specific techniques used to build and analyse these models can be quite sophisticated and are addressed elsewhere in this guide; the emphasis of this chapter is on access. A brief overview of the historical beginnings of O.R. a detailed description of its methodology follows. The chapter concludes with several examples of successful real-world applications of O.R.
