In the present study it has been found that algae have immense capacity to absorb metals, and there is considerable potential for using them to treat wastewater.Concentration of metal and biomass of algae, pH, temperature, biochemical activities of the organism affect the rate of metal absorption. Algae can effectively remove metals from water bodies. In the case of test spices, Diatoms can be used for removal of Arsenic from aquatic biota. The present investigation was under taken to study the removal of Arsenic from the metal treated medium in vitro. Arsenic is a carcinogenic and highly toxic heavy metal existed in two valiancy state such as As (V) and As (III). The toxicity of metal can be reduced in alkaline condition. So the sea water containing medium were used for the present study. The parameters of productivity, photosynthesis rate, respiration, pigmentation, end product of photosynthesis bioactive phenol and proline were studied in different concentration of As (III) and As (V). The maximum removal of the metal from the aquous medium was observed at the exponential growth phase and also increase in the amount of proline and phenol in the test species under stress condition. So algae are used for biosorption of Arsenic from the aquatic biota.

The Employees State Insurance Scheme is a comprehensive multi-dimensional Health Insurance and Social Security Scheme. It is one of the most effective and sustainable social measures available to the workmen employed in industrial and commercial establishments. It is different from other types of insurance like Health Insurance in that it provides the full amount of medical bill irrespectively of the premium contribution. ESI scheme provides pervasive full medical care and reasonable economic support to the beneficiaries in contingencies like hazards of sickness, maternity, disablement, and death due to employment injury. The present paper is an attempt to understand the ground reality of the role of The Employees State Insurance Scheme in the study area.

Road construction planning is a basic and challenging task in the management and execution of construction projects. A good construction plan is the basis for developing the budget and the schedule for a project. A considerable amount of time, money and resources are wasted each year in a road construction industry due to an improper management of construction activities. Time and Cost are the two fundamental parameters in the execution of the road construction. Providing good planning, proper organization, sufficient flow of resources to a road project cannot automatically achieve the desired result. The Primavera P6 software provides a warning mechanism, which can alert the organization about its possible success and failures throughout the project. The main objective of this study is to know the importance of road construction planning with the help of Primavera P6 software. Also put forward measures to the organization for enhancing their project planning skills for similar projects in future. The aim of this review paper is to promote the use of Primavera P6 in construction engineering and help the young engineer or learner to get an idea about the software.

Women are not only a part of the majority of India. They are the base of India. If the base is weak and crumbly, the building might topple. So, to empower this root from within, making them financially independent is the first and foremost step. Giving them the necessary employment as power is the need of the hour. Empowering one woman leads to the empowerment of the whole family. Self-help groups are an integral part of improving the overall well-being of women in India. Women in India are always given a back seat. Self-help groups have played a pivotal role in the upliftment and enhancement of women of rural India. The main aim of the self-help group is to reach the deep crevices of the villages of India and to help the respect deprived women. The women get a chance to come together as a group that may or may not be registered. They help each other by pooling together small savings and loaning that amount to whoever requires that money.

The history of English language teaching is a remarkable testimony of how pedagogy evolves and adapts itself to changing environments, cultures, trends and purposes. Right from the ancient Classical Method to the more recent Audio-lingual Method, educationists have theorised and put into practice various methods of teaching English for the benefit of learners who are not native speakers of English but wish to learn it in order to move up the ladder socially, academically and professionally. The Direct Method, the Audio-lingual Method, Designer method, Suggestopedia, Silent Way, Grammar-Translation Method, among many others, are some ways in which English has been taught. History bears witness to the fact that the pedagogical approach is more student-centric today than it was in the past. Educationists are mindful of taking into consideration the temperament, need, interest, psychological state, mental ability, ethnicity, culture and social background of the learner. In other words, the approach has become more inclusive and student-centred. Similarly, ESL programs endeavour to accommodate students from different language backgrounds, accepting the inevitable mother tongue influence in the way they use English.
