After Permanent Settlement in Bengal (1793) the zamindar got the ownership of land. They had to pay revenue instead of the ownership within a certain period of time. The zamindars performed their duties as local administrator and judged the local disputes. In the nineteenth century Bengal various steps were taken to spread the education on behalf of company administration and personal efforts. The zamindars in personal efforts established some schools in their zamindari area. In the 19th and the 20th century Bengal there was a zamindar Raja Sarat Chandra Roy who was fond of education, in Malda. He set up several schools in his zamindari area for development of education. Apart from that he took some social program for the betterment of raiyats. In this paper the different educational and social works of Sarat Chandra Roy have been discussed.

Indian society is patriarchal and hierarchical, with men considered as superiors and women as second-class citizens in both the public and private spheres. A patriarchal social and ideological system places men above women in terms of decision-making and resource management. It creates inequalities and hierarchies that harm families, communities, and women in particular. The birth of a girl child is not as celebrated by society as it should be since traditional thinking sees the male child as the only one who bears responsibility for the family. As a result, there is an imbalance in the sex ratio or a decline in the child sex ratio in India due to an increase in female foeticide, infanticide, and other types of homicide. Additionally, there is a lack of understanding of the significance of girls' education. One of the causes is that there is a dearth of knowledge on girls' education as a result of society's representation of women's roles as good wives and mothers of male offspring. Thus, an attempt has been made in this article to analyze the Central government's "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" initiative. This scheme has been introduced by the government to achieve a balanced sex ratio and an enhanced rate of literacy among Indian girls

Disaster management platforms like emergency services offer important information to help respond to disasters. Machine learning could help identify this information. Using social media data for emergency response has challenges like reliability, performance measurement, deception, attention focus, and turning observations into usable information. During the Haiti earthquake, many technical volunteers tried to help by sending mapping and translation services via text messages. However, the systems couldn't handle the high volume of information. Despite good intentions, organizations weren't prepared to handle data from outside their networks. They lacked technical staff and tools to use the data effectively. To solve this, we propose using a domain adaptation approach, which learns from available data with labels. Our approach uses the Linear SVC Algorithm with Self-Training. Experimental results show that our method can identify emergency messages relevant to disasters.

Temperature is one of the main factors that affects the growth pattern of Gerbera hybrida, which shows vast variation in morphology and stress adaptation among cultivars. However, little is known about temperature responses of plant growth among different cultivars. In this study, four cultivars were planted in different growth temperatures to investigate the effect of temperature on plant growth of Gerbera hybrida during their vegetative growth. Results showed that the optimum growth temperature of the four cultivars was 20 8C, of which plant height, root length, biomass accumulation, leaf area, and photosynthetic rate were enhanced significantly. Different cultivars showed diverse temperature adaptation ranges, which were related with their genetic background, and the temperature adaptability of cultivar Autumn was the best among the four cultivars. Temperature also had significant effects on photosynthetic rate, which was the main factor shaping plant growth. Our research provides the basic guidance for the growth temperature control in the cultivation of Gerbera hybrida.

In the contemporary period of globalization and liberalization, a revolutionary approach has been welcomed in our nation with the goal of giving the female population more prominence. Due to the ongoing rise in living expenses, it is now crucial for women to participate in the economy in order to support their families. They have demonstrated their abilities not only in a variety of work roles, but also by bravely encroaching on the taboo world of entrepreneurship. In order to achieve financial independence and forge a strong position for themselves in society, women have been behaving like true entrepreneurs, taking risks, managing resources, and accepting challenges.

This study conducts a comprehensive comparative analysis of the cost of management (CoM) across State Cooperative Banks (SCBs) in India for the fiscal year 2018-2019. Utilising secondary data from the National Federation of State Cooperative Banks Ltd. (NAFSCOB) and the Department of Cooperation, Government of India, the study aims to identify variations in CoM among different states and explore the impact of these costs on the efficiency and profitability of SCBs. The analysis includes descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and detailed rankings based on total CoM, CoM per employee, and the percentage of CoM to working capital. Key findings indicate significant variability in CoM, with Haryana, Telangana, and Tripura having the highest costs, while Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Manipur exhibit the lowest. A strong positive correlation between CoM and profitability suggests that higher management costs can be associated with better financial performance. Recommendations for optimizing cost management include implementing cost control measures, adopting best practices from efficient states, leveraging technology, and receiving regulatory support. The study concludes that effective cost management is crucial for the sustainability and growth of SCBs, with future research needed on longitudinal trends and the impact of technological advancements.

Artificial intelligence has made a substantial impact on the banking and financial sector, and this impact is most evident in the way individuals and institutions save, move, and manage their money. It is improving and adding efficiency to banking services by giving these services a personalized touch. AI solution providers are continuously creating algorithms that allow financial institutions to analyze their customer data and offer services that are tailor-fit to each individual customer [1]. Whether the financial institution is a private bank, wealth management firm, or a retail bank, the objective of these AI-driven platforms and tools is to provide guidance and services for their clients that mimic those of a human advisor. These tools learn from historical data on client behavior, preferences, and engagement to offer financial advice that is relevant, timely, and personalized. AI is making it cost-effective to offer small-sized or younger client segments access to financial advice that has traditionally only been available to wealthier clients using in-person engagements. The client can have access to a one-to-one financial advisor and step-by-step instructions based on their personal saving and investment situation that can be monitored if there are any changes. The debt repayment advice can evaluate the interest rates and terms of the borrower's loans whether the rate of return of the investment is higher or not, can determine the cost of tax and the future investment opportunities in light of which the advice is sensible [1]. Ai is a very powerful tool in monitoring the customer and their financial goals. This solution can be used to compare the clients investments against the optimal portfolio allocation and also notify clients about any suggested actions that need to be taken within the limits of their tax implications or any law changes that affect these clients. Wealth management is currently experiencing an AI-driven boom and will continue being used to develop many more AI service applications in banking.

Ever since the government of India launched the Digital India campaign, there have been a lot of initiatives and schemes implemented and/or are still being implemented under what it calls "the flagship programme." Those initiatives and schemes, it seems, are for the good of every citizen in the country due to which they seem to cover every area of a citizen's welfare like financial inclusion, education, health, employment, etc. All of those initiatives and schemes have something or other to do with making sure that each and every citizen of the country is digitally empowered, thus aiming to make India a knowledge economy. With the global pandemic however having disrupted the way of life for everyone and changed it to more of a technology-reliant one, obviously because of its distancing nature, this paper specifically focuses on extensively reviewing other research articles, newspaper articles, editorials, and expert video interviews that talk about the status of digital education during the COVID-19 crisis and unbiasedly elucidating the extent to which the Digital India initiatives and schemes for education came in handy during the COVID -19 pandemic. Since this paper is all about reviewing the relevant resources, the proven methodology adopted for this study is Meta-Synthesis, a qualitative research methodology that helps arrive to a conclusion by forming an entirely new unbiased understanding about a subject.

Abstract Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) is the phenomenon of muscle pain, muscle soreness, or muscle stiffness that occurs in a day or two after exercise. DOMS is nothing but ultramicroscopic tearing of muscle fibres which depends on the intensity and length of exercise and exercise type. It is most frequently felt during the beginning of a new exercise type. It is most frequently felt during the beginning of a new exercise program, changing the exercise routine, or suddenly increasing the intensity of the exercise routine, a number of people think that cooling down by exercising at a very slow pace after exercising more vigorously help to prevent muscle soreness; it doesn't stitching does not prevent soreness either, since post-exercise soreness is not due to contracted muscle fibers. The objective of the present studies is to find ways and means to effectively deal with muscle soreness. The application of preventive strategies and curative aspects are very good tools to prevent muscle soreness.

While the social economic and cultural impacts of globalization remain deeply contested, there seems to be a growing consensus on the plausibility of it providing mechanisms for resolving global environmental issues. Given the transnational nature of environmental problems it is natural that the solutions offered have to be ones that surpass the jurisdiction of nation-states. By enhancing local-global relations globalization can be seen contributing towards the establishment of a sustainable society. These propositions evidently have a profound impact on green political theory, given that one of its primary objectives is to comprehend the transformation of political communities within the context of the global extent of environmental issues. One approach is to lay the groundwork for an autochthonous concept of citizenship, namely ecological or environmental citizenship. The aim of this article is to scrutinize the interconnections between cosmopolitan deliberations on citizenship, on the one hand, and green political theory's endeavours to conceive its own notion of citizenship, on the other.

This study evaluates the effect of inflation on an inventory model for non-instantaneous degenerating products with algebraic time sensitive demand and exponentially time-based holding cost under delay in payments. Shortages are tolerated and partially accumulated. The accumulation rate is an exponential function of the waiting duration for the renewal of inventory cycle. Mathematical formulation is framed to find optimal ordering policies to get the uttermost profit and optimal order quantity. This framework is divided under three cases based on the interval of non-decay, the duration on initial inventory consumption, trade credit period and inventory cycle span. The major purpose of this research is to get the maximum profit and to find the ideal total inventory. The findings of this model are illustrated by sensitivity investigation of parameters and demonstrated by numerical instances.

For the purpose of partial fulfillment of Ph.D Course work the legal literature on the proposed Topic i.e. A Critical Analysis of Judicial Appointments in India, was carefully revived. In order to obtain relevant information, books and articles of various eminent authors have been reviewed. The report of review of literature is as follows first of all it is convenient to note the list of articles referred in this regard and then it is good to mention the list of books which have reviewed thoroughly to find out the areas left. Though the authors of valuable literary work might be from a high cadre but as a research scholar it's permitted to criticize the work of any scholar and which is done in good faith. The constitution itself permits for fair criticism. Review of literature helps to understand current trends in the concerned literature project. A careful analysis of relevant literature can help to overcome various problems in the research endeavor. About importance of review of literature it has been observed that, frequently, an expletory study is concerned with an area of subject- matter in which explicit hypotheses have not been formulated. The researcher's task is to review the available material with an eye of developing hypotheses from it. To review works of such genius person is a challenging task. Since the aim of experience survey is to obtain insights into the nature of the problem and useful leads or clues to possible hypotheses and since the experience surveyor is looking for provocative ideas and useful insides, the cases are chosen on the basis of likelihood that that they will be able to contribute such ideas and insights.

This research paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the trend and pattern of irrigation extent in Haryana State, India. Irrigation plays a crucial role in sustaining agricultural productivity, especially in regions with arid or semi-arid climates. Understanding the evolving trends and discernible patterns in irrigation practices is essential for effective water resource management and informed policy formulation. Through an in-depth examination of historical data, this study reveals the trajectory of irrigation extent in Haryana State over a specified period. Factors influencing the trend, such as technological advancements, policy interventions, and shifts in agricultural practices, are explored to provide insights into the drivers of change. The development of irrigation facilities in Haryana gained momentum after India's independence, with canal irrigation playing a pivotal role in the initial phase, followed by the significant contribution of tube well irrigation and groundwater utilization. Based on the identified trends and patterns, this research paper offers recommendations to enhance the efficiency, equity, and sustainability of irrigation practices in Haryana State. The well-established network of irrigation facilities, primarily consisting of canals and tube wells, has transformed the cropping pattern in the state. These insights can aid policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders in promoting sustainable and efficient irrigation practices for agricultural development in Haryana.
