Slums are the areas where lack of basic infrastructures, skills, hygiene, health, education and income sources to good living condition. Rapid urbanization and failure of governance are the key reasons of developing slums. Slum dwellers play very important role in the city development directly or indirectly. With this point of view, it is very important to study and identify the solution for slum improvement. This research is an attempt to demonstrate the issues of slums and to extent appropriate options of slum improvement. The aim of this Thesis is to improve infrastructure for the slum dwellers of Gwalior City. For this, firstly study the city slum profile then examine the schemes / projects through which institutions are taking initiatives in infrastructure development for the Gwalior slum dwellers. Next assessing the status of infrastructure in the selected slum areas by primary survey and secondary data collection also study the characteristics of slum dwellers and capture the community perception of selected slums. Finally, national and international case studies were done to understand the effective ways to reduce the issues, which helps in formulating the planning strategies for better living conditions by improving infrastructure in slums.

ABSTRACT: Diabetic kidney disease is an emerging epidemic of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and obesity. It usually occurs slowly and gets worse for many years. The RAAS system is a hormone system that regulates blood pressure, fluid and electrolyte balance, and systemic vascular resistance. A Renoprotective effect is exerted that is independent of the blood pressure reduction caused by RAAS inhibition. Combination of ACE and AT II receptor antagonists to maximize RAAS inhibition and reduce proteinuria and GFR decline in diabetic and nondiabetic renal disease. According to recent trials, there is a benefit in slowing nephropathy progression in the presence of albuminuria. An approach including lifestyle modifications may achieve remission of proteinuria and stabilization of renal function in a substantial proportion of patients with proteinuria renal disease with RAAS inhibition combined with intensified amelioration of dyslipidemia. Independent of blood pressure reduction, a renal protective effect is exerted by RAAS inhibition using proteinuria as an endpoint compared to the effects of ARBS or ACE-1 as monotherapy or with a combination of both ACE-1 and ARB therapy. Most studies suggest that combination therapy provides a greater antiproteinuric effect than monotherapy, despite the methodological limitations, because of more prolonged and complete RAAS inhibition. Combination therapy has higher efficiency than monotherapy and is also associated with a higher incidence of adverse effects.

Now a days, in every field we use internet for variety of applications. One of the use of internet is in medical field where there is an exchange of medical information over the internet between different hospitals, research centers for diagnosis purpose. The problem while exchanging medical information is the possibility of tampering, changing medical information of patient. One remedy for this is to use digital watermarking technique which ensures privacy, authenticity & integrity of medical information. In this article, SVD is used as a watermarking technique. Dual watermarks are concatenated, sparse coded & embedded using SVD. Then different attacks are planned on watermarked image & concatenated dual watermarks are extracted. The tampered watermarked image then recovered to restore medical information of patient. For experimental analysis, PSNR & NC are calculated to ensure robustness & transparency.

Primary headaches frequently occur in children and teenagers. Tension-like headaches (HTT) and migraine are significant sources of disability with several health considerations. Compared to migraine, little is known about TTH in children; most of what we know has been extrapolated from adult studies. This is an article about chronic tension-type headaches for use in classification, etiology, diagnostic criteria, and homeopathic medicines.

Allelopathy concerns the effects of one plant on another due to chemicals released by them, or the breakdown products of their metabolites. The allelochemicals are produced by all kinds of plants and plant parts although roots and leaves are mainly responsible for their production and release. Allelopathic effect of 3% aqueous extracts of fresh leaves of Euphorbia dracunculoides was studied on seed germination and seedling growth of chick pea. Seeds were allowed to grow in petri-dishes containing 3% aqueous extracts of fresh leaves of E. dracunculoides. The result indicated that seed germination and seedling growth was suppressed.

Objective of the study was to compare physiological variables of athletes participated in different track events viz. short , middle and long distance at Punjab University Intercollegiate competition held at Panjab University Campus at 2018-19 . 120 athletes i.e. 40 short, 40 middle and 40 long distance were selected by using simple random sampling method. AAPHER youth physical fitness test was used for collection of data. Mean Median , SD. SEm , t test and one way analysis of variance AANOVA was used for analysis of collected data. Results of study show valuable facts which can help athletes and coaches for their further training.

This study analyzed the effect of cash dividend on performance of manufacturing firms in Nigeria. The broad objective is to evaluate the effect of cash dividend on performance of manufacturing firms in Nigeria the periods 0f 2012- 2021. Panel Least Squared (PLS) method of data analysis was used. Secondary sources of data were employed; the interested variables were culled from the annual report of the quoted firms. The following variables were used, market price per share as the dependent variables, while dividend per share, retained earnings per share, dividend yield ratio and dividend payout. The findings shows, that retained earnings per share has a positive and statistically insignificant effect on market price per share. Dividend yield was found to be positive and statistically insignificant market price per share. Retained earnings per share were also found to be positive and statistically significant effect on market price per share. Lastly, dividend payout was found to be positive and statistically significant with market price per share, The following recommendations were made: the researcher recommends that the board of directors should try to satisfy the need of share holders as well as the needs of the firm by increasing dividend per share. The board of directors should also ensure that they make provisions for retained earnings before dividend are declared.

According to a survey by NCERT, just 6.86 percent of schools have access to Braille books and audio content, and only 29.16 percent of India's 12 million visually impaired people are involved in the educational system. The majority of books still haven't been converted to Braille, leaving them available for Blind people to read. For visually impaired pupils, a barrier to learning is the expensive cost of Braille books and the poor accessibility of many subject textbooks. Our concept is to create a portable Braille device that would allow us to quickly and cheaply transform the content of any e-book, blog, or news website into Braille. We have created an embedded system that can convert text into grade 1 and grade 2 Braille. We created software for Windows and an app for Android that turns ordinary text into grade 2 Braille comparable text. Additionally, we frequently use wireless transmission to transfer data from a laptop or smartphone to a device. The transformed text is then placed into an SD card. Our embedded system reads the SD card and translates the text to Braille and speech for audio output.

Image Processing algorithm are designed to handle Different Problem domains. Efficiency of every algorithm is Dependent upon the Quality of input images. . Image De noising involves the manipulation of the image data to produce a visually high quality image. This work reviews the existing De noising algorithms, such as filtering approach, wavelet based approach, and multi fractal approach, and performs their comparative study. To enhance the quality of images Various images enhancement or restoration techniques are use. Images Enhancement techniques vary for different types noise. Noise is any unwanted signal present in original signal .A Quantitative measure of comparison is provided by the signal to noise ratio of the image. Noise Reductions are basically classified in to two types 1) Linear Techniques 2) Non Linear Techniques. In Linear techniques noise reduction formula is applied for all pixels of image linearly without classifying pixel in to noisy and non noisy pixels
