 Abstract

Climatological issue has always been a foremost apprehension for any country especially in housing technologies. Bangladesh is among the most populous countries in the world with average 1115.62 people packed into every square kilometer. More than two million people in Dhaka either live in slums or are without any proper shelter. People always try to migrate to Dhaka for various reasons. Urban migration is mainly due to better employment opportunities - especially in the ready-made garments sector - and educational opportunities. More than 1/4th people leave for the cities because of natural disasters, river erosion and recurrent flooding. In a developing country like Bangladesh �housing inadequacies and backlog have been increasing mainly due to the increase in population. Families who pay more than 30 percent of their income for housing may have difficulty affording necessities such as food, clothing, transportation and medical care. So, it is important to make low cost dwelling place for them. Low cost housing means housing at low cost but suitable to the environment for all sections of the population. Model houses were constructed at the selected locations to demonstrate disaster resilient structure to the local community with an aim that new design or at least some features would be replicated. Different treatment schemes for increasing the durability of materials were employed to study their effectiveness. The prime objective is to reduce cost and make housing an eco-friendly one. As natural calamities like flood and cyclone are common phenomena. This low cost housing should be durable and should have good living conditions for the dwellers.

 Abstract

Paule Marshall, a prominent contemporary Black woman novelist, focuses on capturing the complexities of Black women's experiences and self-perception in her works. Her novel, Daughters (1991), explores the agency and empowerment of Black women in both the United States and the fictional Caribbean island of Triunion. The novel presents a vibrant and intricate portrayal of the Mackenzie family and their extended network, with the daughter at the narrative's core, a professional Black woman making a life and career for herself in New York. Through the journey of protagonist Ursa Mackenzie, the novel delves into themes of identity, family dynamics, and resistance to patriarchal domination, ultimately culminating in Ursa's quest for independence and self-discovery.

 Abstract

The main purpose of this project is to prevent vehicle theft. This functionality is achieved by detecting vehicle status in theft mode and by sending an SMS which is generated automatically. This SMS is then sent to the owner of the vehicle. The owner can then send back the SMS in order to disable the ignition of the vehicle. Thus, in this way crimes can be reduced to a great extent as vehicles today are being stolen in large number. Hence, vehicles today require high security which can be achieved with the help of this application. How the system works is when a person tries to steal the vehicle, the microcontroller is interrupted and the command is sent to the GSM modem to send SMS. On the receipt of the message, the owner sends back the SMS to the GSM modem. This is done in order to stop the engine. This GSM modem is interfaced to the Arduino. This Arduino on the receipt of the message uses a mechanism that helps to stop the engine. Motor is being used in this project in order to indicate vehicle ON/OFF state. In this project we are using a GPS system that helps to find out the exact position of the vehicle with the help of its latitude and longitude which then can be sent to the owner of the vehicle via SMS. This data can be then entered by the owner on Google map to find out the exact location of the vehicle.

The research employs a multi-faceted approach, combining quantitative analysis of financial statements, industry benchmarks, and qualitative insights from key industry stakeholders. Initial emphasis is placed on understanding the prevailing capital structure norms within the pharmaceutical sector, considering the unique dynamics of the industry, regulatory frameworks, and market conditions. A critical analysis of the determinants of capital structure decisions ensues, exploring the impact of factors such as company size, profitability, growth prospects, and risk profiles. Additionally, the study investigates the role of external financing sources, including debt and equity, and their relative weights in the capital structure mix. Comparative analyses against global pharmaceutical industry standards and best practices provide a broader context for evaluation. Furthermore, the research assesses the implications of capital structure choices on financial performance, risk management, and shareholder value. Specific attention is given to the trade-off between debt and equity financing, examining how these choices align with the strategic goals of the companies under consideration.

 Abstract

The process of raising the standard of living and economic security of rural residents is known as rural development. 68.84% of people, as per the 2011 Census, reside in villages. The rural sector's sluggishness would be a significant barrier to the economy's overall development. Over the years, India's rural development has seen a number of changes in terms of its emphasis, methodologies, strategies, and projects. As a result, it now has a new viewpoint and dimension. The integration of cross-functional sectors into rural economic growth produces crucial policies for the transformation needed to offer the rural sector sustainable development. The objective of the study is to understand the role, importance, issues and Government initiatives of rural development in India.

 Abstract

Aquaculture sector is expanding very fast and has great potential for food security and nutritional support. However Aquaculture as it is poses a major threat to our environment as it generates hazardous consequences for the environment, including chemical and biological pollution and disease outbreaks. Impact of aquaculture on the ecosystem will not only affect fish, but also cause pollution of open waters and make it unsafe for human consumption, for recreational use, and for other wildlife, it has a devastating effect on the environment. Working towards better understanding of environmental and socio-economic issues related to aquaculture this work aims to critically engage the discourse on aquaculture and sustainability, in particular relevance to feed for fed-aquaculture.
