Alice Walker's novel "Possessing the Secret of Joy" delves into the cultural practice of female genital mutilation (FGM) and its impact on the lives of women. The novel explores the pressures that lead to the practice of FGM, including the role of tradition, family, and community. One of the major themes of the novel is the concept of tribal frenzy, which refers to the way in which members of a community can become caught up in a collective emotion or hysteria, leading them to act in ways that they might not otherwise. The main character, Tashi, undergoes FGM as a young girl and struggles with the physical, psychological, and emotional consequences of the practice. Through Tashi's story, the novel raises important questions about the relationship between tradition and individual freedom, and about the complex and often contradictory nature of cultural practices. The concept of tribal frenzy is used to highlight the power dynamics within communities and the ways in which cultural practices can be used to control individuals. Overall, "Possessing the Secret of Joy" is a powerful exploration of the impact of FGM on women's lives and the complex dynamics of culture and tradition.

ABSTRACT Anti-social behaviors among school aged children and youth are a leading concern among both educators and the general public. Schools continue to face the formidable challenge to prevent anti-social behaviors from occurring and intervene with those students who have or are beginning to display the "Soft Signs" of anti-social behavior. One of society's most effective weapons for reducing anti-social behavior and helping at risk children and teens is education. Anti social behavior is any action or behavior that is disruptive and hostile towards other individuals. some examples of anti social behavior though it is smaller degree are; bullying and insulting a person or group, vandalism, mutilation, kleptomania, molestation, abstinence from school, substance abuse, malice and eve-teasing. Anti social behavior can be dealt through education, changing a person's environment and treated even using psychotherapy or medications. Aim The main aim of this article is to assess the knowledge of school teachers regarding anti social behavior and its prevention among students of senior secondary schools at Jagadhri, Haryana. Method The research design of the study was descriptive cross sectional survey approach. The population was teachers of senior secondary school at Jagadhri. The study originated with a sample of 50 teachers of senior secondary school with convenient sampling technique. Results The present study shows that highest percentage 40% of teachers in the age group of 31 35 years and the lowest 4% were in the age group of >36. According to educational status depicts that the highest 62% of teachers were post graduate and the lowest 38% of teachers were graduate. There was significant association between the knowledge scores of the teachers when compare with the demographic variables i.e., marital status, gender, religion and teaching experience. There was no significant association between the knowledge scores and the demographic variables i.e., age and educational status. Conclusion The study concluded that the majority of senior secondary school teachers had moderate knowledge regarding prevention of anti-social behavior.

One of the most common malignancies in the world is Skin Cancer. The features of the illness can only be evaluated by a clinical assessment of skin lesions, but this process might take a long time and can be interpreted in many ways. Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques have been developed to assist dermatologists in making an early and accurate diagnosis of Skin Cancer, which is critical for increasing patient survival rates. In this study, we give a comprehensive literature review of recent studies that have used deep learning to categorize skin lesions, with the goal of giving researchers who are just getting started in this field a good place to begin their investigations. The papers that thoroughly and clearly defined the methods used and presented the findings obtained were chosen after an extensive search of many internet databases using inclusion/exclusion criteria. Sixty-eight studies were chosen for further study, the vast majority of which use Deep Learning methods, in particular Artificial Neural Networks, for skin cancer detection and classification. Given the encouraging findings too far, it seems likely that these methods will be incorporated into clinical practice in the not-too-distant future. . The deep learning architectures such as Deep Convolutional Neural Networks are developed to utilize the Convolutional Neural Network. It is demonstrated that accuracy of deep learning model is improved to 98.8% from 92.3% of Convolutional Neural Network model.

Present study uses structural equation modelling (SEM) to examine the HRD climate is the perception that the employees have about the policies, procedures, practices, and conditions. HRD Climate is characterised by tendencies such as treating employees, communicating and motivating. which exist in the working environment Service industry had been longing for viable excellence for long without giving the due share of kindness to the human capital which was perhaps the much neglected, though most important, facet of an organization. Now when the excellence is driven by the human capital an organization has, it becomes important to study the various practices related with the human resource development climate efforts of an organization in a given climate which results to an extent in the expected outcomes. This study is an empirical attempt to examine extent in the expected outcomes.

Abstract: To resolve the structural problems underlying the tribal economy the Andhra Pradesh Government evolved Tribal Development Project (APTDP) with the assistance of International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD). In terms of natural resource management, the most significant activity of the project has been the attempt to use settled irrigated agricultural systems to replace the traditional methods of shifting (Podu) cultivation. The aim is to improve household food security through the cultivation of high-yielding paddy rice and horticultural crops, as well as to protect the environment against deforestation and soil erosion. In this study an attempt is made to analyze the prevailing agricultural practices of the selected Tribal farm households in the light of the agricultural development progammes implementing by the ITDAs in the selected mandals relating to land development. The important economic indicators identified on the front of analyzing the prevailing agricultural practices of Tribal farm households are: (1) cropping pattern, (2) fallow land, (3) intensity of cropping, (4) shifting cultivation. The influence of the land development programmes are examined making a comparison of the above aspects of sample households of selected Tribal farm households.

This master's thesis focuses on vehicle detection and tracking. The research tries to detect vehicles in images and videos. It deploys a dataset from Udacity in order to train the algorithms. Two machine learning algorithms; Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Decision Tree have been developed for the detection and tracking tasks. Python programming language have been utilized as the development language for the creation and training of both models. These two algorithms have been developed, trained, tested, and compared to each other to specify the weaknesses and strengths of each of them, although to present and suggest the best model among these two. For the evaluation purpose multiple techniques are used in order to compare and identify the more accurate model. The primary goal and target of the thesis is to develop a system in which the system should be able to detect and track the vehicles automatically whether they are static or moving in images and videos.

The period from 1526 to 1707 in India was marked by the emergence and consolidation of the Mughal Empire, which had a profound impact on the country's art, culture, and society. This period witnessed a fusion of Persian and Indian styles, resulting in a unique aesthetic that continues to influence contemporary art in India. Artistically, this period saw the development of the Mughal school of painting, which was characterized by its fine attention to detail, vibrant colors, and exquisite craftsmanship. The Mughal emperors were great patrons of the arts, and their courts were home to some of the finest artists and craftsmen of the time. Mughal painting depicted themes from Indian mythology, portraits of the emperors and their families, and scenes from court life. The most notable painters of this era were Ustad Mansur and Bichitr. Architecture also flourished during this period, with the construction of several iconic structures such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and the Red Fort in Delhi. These buildings combined elements of Indian and Islamic architecture, with intricate carvings, ornate domes, and symmetrical gardens. Society during this period was marked by a strict hierarchy, with the Mughal emperors at the top and the common people at the bottom. The emperor was seen as a representative of God, and his court was characterized by elaborate rituals and ceremonies. The Mughals were also responsible for the spread of Islam in India, which led to a significant cultural and social transformation. The period from 1526 to 1707 in India was a time of great artistic and cultural development, as well as social and political change. The legacy of this era continues to influence contemporary Indian culture, and its impact can be seen in everything from art and architecture to music and fashion.
