 Abstract

The Smart Voting System is a secure and efficient web-based platform designed to modernize the voting process while ensuring voter authenticity and preventing fraud. The system integrates machine learning, facial recognition, and CAPTCHA verification to address challenges such as duplicate voting, voter impersonation, and unauthorized access, Developed using Flask as the backend framework and MySQL for database management, the application employs advanced technologies to deliver a reliable and user-friendly voting experience. During registration, users provide personal details, upload a photo, and complete CAPTCHA verification. The uploaded photo is hashed and stored securely in the database, ensuring data integrity. The system verifies voter eligibility by calculating the user's age and checking for duplicate registrations using hashed photo comparisons. A Random Forest-hased fraud detection model analyzes voting patterns, such as the time of voting and the number of votes. cast, to flag suspicious activities. The voting process includes real time facial recognition using Python libraries like OpenCV and face recognition. Voters live photos are captured and compared with their registered photos to verify identity. The system ensures that each voter can cast their vote only once and prevents fraudulent attempts. Votes are securely recorded in the database, and candidate results are updated dynamically. This project demonstrates the potential of technology in improving election systems by combining security, scalability, and transparency. By leveraging artificial intelligence and secure data practices, the Smart Voting System provides a modern, reliable, and accessible solution to enhance the democratic process.

 Abstract

This study investigated changes in the speed of basketball players due to the isolated and combined effects of plyometric and weight training. To achieve this purpose of the study, sixty basketball players from in and around Kottayam, Kerala, India, whose ages ranged between 18 and 25 years, were selected as subjects. The selected subjects were divided into four equal groups. Group - I - (n = 15) underwent plyometric training, group - II - (n = 15) underwent weight training, group - III - (n = 15) underwent combined training, and group - IV - (n = 15) acted as the control group which does not participate in any special training. This study's training program was carried out thrice weekly for twelve weeks. The selected dependent variable speed was measured by a 50m dash test before and after training. The assessed data of the four groups were calculated through ANCOVA statistics. When the 'F' (adjusted) score in ANCOVA was high, the post hoc (Scheffe's) test was followed. A confidence level of 0.05 was set. Due to the isolated and combined effect of plyometric and weight training, the speed of basketball players notably progressed; however, the combined training group was much superior to the plyometric and weight training group in improving the speed of basketball players. The weight training group was much superior to the plyometric training group in improving the speed of basketball players.

 Abstract

Energy bars have emerged as a convenient and nutritious food option, evolving from their origins as space food to becoming a staple for athletes and health-conscious consumers. These bars provide a balanced combination of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, offering a quick and efficient source of energy. This paper explores the historical development, technological advancements, and nutritional composition of energy bars, highlighting their role as meal replacements and dietary supplements. The study also examines the manufacturing processes, raw materials, and safety considerations involved in production. With increasing consumer demand for healthy, on-the-go snacks, energy bars continue to evolve, incorporating functional ingredients such as probiotics, dietary fibers, and plant-based proteins. Future research should focus on enhancing their nutritional profile, improving affordability, and utilizing sustainable ingredients to meet the growing market needs while addressing health and environmental concerns.

 Abstract

: Hypergeometric functions, which generalize elementary functions and transcendental functions, have profound applications in number theory. Their role extends from providing explicit formulas for special values of zeta functions to contributing to the understanding of modular forms, elliptic curves, and the distribution of prime numbers. In particular, the interplay between hypergeometric series and the theory of modular functions offers insights into the properties of quadratic forms, class numbers, and the behavior of L-functions. This paper explores the key applications of hypergeometric functions in number theory, emphasizing their utility in evaluating sums over lattice points, understanding the asymptotics of number-theoretic functions, and their connections to deep results in transcendental number theory. Through a careful analysis, we demonstrate how hypergeometric series facilitate the derivation of identities and the development of computational methods that have become essential tools in modern number theory research.

 Abstract

The concept of privacy in India has evolved significantly over the years, transitioning from a peripheral notion to a fundamental right with far-reaching implications for individual freedoms. This paper explores the historical development of privacy jurisprudence in India, examining key judicial decisions and legislative efforts that have shaped the current legal landscape. A pivotal moment in this evolution was the Supreme Court's judgment in K.S. Puttaswamy v. Union of India (2017), which affirmed the right to privacy as a fundamental right under the Indian Constitution. The paper delves into the challenges posed by emerging technologies, particularly in the realms of surveillance, data protection, and digital privacy, and discusses the legislative frameworks such as the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 that aim to safeguard privacy in the digital era. It also offers suggestions for strengthening privacy protections, emphasizing the importance of an adaptive legal framework, public awareness, and judicial oversight. The study highlights the evolving nature of privacy rights in India, emphasizing the need to balance individual rights with state interests in a rapidly digitizing world.

 Abstract

Abstract: With the alarming rise in plastic production and subsequent accumulation of plastic waste, there's an urgent need for sustainable solutions to mitigate environmental damage. This project explores the utilization of waste materials for brick production, aiming to develop eco-friendly construction materials. By incorporating plastic waste, particularly polyethylene terephthalate (PET), into brick formulations, the project aims to reduce reliance on traditional resources like clay, cement, and sand, thereby cutting costs and environmental impact. Various studies have been reviewed, indicating the effectiveness of incorporating plastic waste in bricks and optimizing their properties. The methodology involves characterizing raw materials, formulating concrete mix designs, testing mechanical properties, and optimizing production processes. Through field trials and continuous improvement, the project seeks to revolutionize concrete production, promoting sustainability and circular economy principles while mitigating carbon emissions.

 Abstract

With the increasing prevalence of cyber threats, Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks remain a significant concern for network security. This study introduces an AI powered DDoS detection system that leverages Machine Learning algorithms, including Random Forest, Logistic Regression, and Neural Networks, to distinguish between legitimate and malicious network traffic in real time. The system is integrated with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) to enable adaptive security measures. A web-based interface, developed using React.js and Tailwind CSS, provides real-time traffic visualization. Experimental evaluations indicate high detection accuracy, reinforcing cybersecurity defenses against evolving attack strategies.

 Abstract

Free radical reactions are a class of chemical reactions that involve highly reactive intermediates known as free radicals. These species possess unpaired electrons, making them extremely unstable and eager to form stable bonds. Free radical mechanisms are fundamental processes in chemistry, playing a significant role in a variety of chemical reactions, including polymerization, combustion, and biological processes. The mechanism typically involves three primary stages: initiation, propagation, and termination. In the initiation step, free radicals are generated through processes such as homolytic bond cleavage, often induced by heat, light, or chemical catalysts. During propagation, these radicals react with stable molecules to form new radicals, sustaining a chain reaction. The termination step occurs when two radicals combine, neutralizing their reactivity and halting the chain process. Free radical mechanisms are critical in synthetic chemistry, especially in the production of polymers through free radical polymerization. However, uncontrolled free radical activity can be harmful, as observed in biological systems where oxidative stress leads to cell damage. Antioxidants play a crucial role in mitigating such damage by scavenging free radicals. This paper will investigate into the fundamental mechanism of free radical reactions, encircling the key steps involved and the factors influencing their reactivity.
