The crankshaft is an important component of an IC engine because it translates the piston's reciprocating action into rotary motion via the connecting rod. A crankshaft's strength should be sufficient to withstand the bending and twisting forces it is subjected to. This project describes the stress distribution of a crankshaft by manual calculations for different subjected loads and moments by considering different operating conditions such as maximum bending moment condition (without twisting moment" and combined twisting and bending moment condition (where torsion is maximum". Followed bythe CAD modelling using the dimensions obtained from hand calculations. Using commercial finite element analysis (software Ansys) the final model was analysed. In order to optimise component design at the early development stage, the results of stress analysis are significant. The examination of the crankshaft natural frequencies and the mode forms were explored. The analysis was modal. This load is applied to the ANSYS FE model and limits appropriate to the motor mounting conditions are implemented. The study is performed to locate the crucial position in the shaft.

Telemedicine plays a vital role in providing health-care services to the victim of both natural and human made disasters. This technology is also applicable in providing domicile treatment to the elderly or home-bound patients suffering from terminal illness. With the sudden pandemic hit, this technology has managed to save many lives. Taking birth from the effective amalgamation of Information and communication Technologies with that of Medical Sciences, telemedicine is a booming area in the health care sector, which have great potentiality in meeting the challenges of the health care industry. India is witnessing an accelerated pace in telemedicine deployment. The 800 million mobile users have widened the scope of e-health in the near future. Though the adoption of information and communication Technology in the health care sector have been initiated by the government, no attempt has been taken up for framing legal and ethical guidelines. In the year 2003, the Ministry of Communication and technology brought out the first policy which defined the standards regarding telemedicine but those recommendations are yet to be converted into effective statutory provisions. This paper is a doctrinal work based on research articles, books, journals, government notification and publication. It attempts to envelop the advantages, disadvantages, legal implications and challenges the telemedicine is going to witness in the upcoming days and also suggests certain policy reforms for its effective implementation in the Indian Scenario.

One of the most important environmental problems of urbanization and population growth is the amount of the Solid waste that is generated at a rate that surpasses the ability of the natural environment to accommodate or the authorities to manage it. Ignorance of government, the inadequate policy adopted by the concerned authority, and lack of knowledge regarding solid waste in the public domain have led to poor management of solid waste in the study areas. The present data have been collected through a field survey using experimental research. The main objective was to find out the quantity of biodegradable waste entering the main solid waste stream and to analyse the best way to reduce biodegradable waste at the ground level. The result suggested that about 43 % of the waste entering into Municipal solid waste is biodegradable in nature. The Biodegradable waste generated in three districts were recorded in Mokokchung (45%), Kohima (42%), and Dimapur (41%) towns annually. In conclusion, biodegradable waste can be decomposed naturally this means that if segregation is done properly at the source level along with the right programme and policy 43% of the waste can be decomposed naturally thereby, reducing the pollution level from solid waste.

In the quality of life of rural people is the important agenda of rural development programme. In India so many people living in rural areas, rural development programme is necessary aspect. Rural development implies both the economic betterment of people as well as greater social transformation. The basic objective of all rural development endeavours / programmes has been the welfare of the millions. In order to achieve this, planned attempts have been made to eliminate poverty, ignorance and inequality of opportunities. Rural development is a dynamic process, which is mainly concerned with the rural areas. These include agricultural growth, putting up of economic and social infrastructure, fair wages as also housing and house sites for the landless, village planning, public health, education and functional literacy, communication etc. The Community Development programme was launched during the first five-year plan period to reach as much as rural poor as possible through developmental activities. Drought Prone Areas in India have continued to suffer from chronic instability of weather, crop production and consequential economic burden, necessitating for an immediate need to evolve a strategy of development to mitigate these conditions. The food for works programme was started in the year 1977-78, as a non-plan scheme to augment the funds of the state Government for the maintenance of public work. The concept of the Minimum Needs programme (MNP) emerged and crystallized out of the experience of the previous plans that neither growth nor social consumption could be sustained much less accelerated without being mutually supportive. After independence, recognizing the importance of irrigation to boost up crop production, quite a good number of Major and Medium Irrigation Projects were taken up in the country. Many more were taken up in subsequent stages. The NREP programme was launched in October 1980 and became a regular plan programme right from April, 1981. MGNREGA is one of the largest work guarantee programmes in the world. The primary objective of the scheme is to guarantee 100 days of employment in every financial year to adult members of any rural household willing to do public work-related unskilled manual work.

Background: Adolescence represents the transitional period linking childhood to adulthood and involves physical, biological and psychological changes in a girl. The adolescent and young adult years are a time of both change and stability. Adolescence begins with puberty & extend from 12 to 20 years of age. Menstruation is the cyclic uterine bleeding experienced by the most of the women of reproductive age. Normal menstruation represents the cyclic shedding of the uterine secretary endometrial because of a decline in estradiol and progesterone production caused by a regressing corpus luteum. Method: A pre-experimental research design was used present study. Total sample for the study used were 60 subjects with pain during menstruation by convenient sampling technique. The tools used to collect the data in the study were Numerical pain assessment scale. The data was collected from subject in selected High School Kawar Kishtwar, after explaining them the purpose of study. Findings: In pre-test 50(83.3%) sample had moderate pain, 10(16.7%) had severe pain whereas 0(0%) had mild and no pain respectively. In post-test 27(45%) sample had mild pain, 23(38.3%) had moderate pain,9(15%) had no pain whereas 1(1.7%) had severe pain after intervention respectively. Mean in post-test (2.3) was lower than mean in pre-test (5.1). Calculated p value is .000001 which showed the significant difference between posttest pain level and pretest pain level. This study shows that muscle relaxation technique is useful in pain during menstruation among adolescent girls facing dysmenorrhea
