 Abstract

An Assignment problem is very important type of linear programming problem which is used for allocating resources in an optimal way. Assignment problem has various applications in real world. Strategy of fuzzy assignment problem is more appropriate than the conventional assignment problem. An Icosikaitetragonal fuzzy assignment problem is changed into crisp valued problem using ranking method. We have applied Hungarian method to find an optimal solution and illustrated by an example.

 Abstract

Increasing air pollution is gravely jeopardizing our planet; as evidenced by global warming and rapid climate changes. Based on recent studies of World Health Organization (WHO) on air quality index, Consumer News and Business Channel (CNBC) has reported that India has 9 out of the 10 highly polluted cities in the world, including the capital city, New Delhi. This work administers an extensive study on the pollution indicators in New Delhi during the year 2019, and proposes practical measures to regulate the prevailing exigency. Real time data for five different places in New Delhi have been drawn from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) website. Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) has been employed to designate the relative priorities to suggested corrective measures.

 Abstract

An attempt was made to design and evaluate Rapidly dissolving oral strips of Haloperidol which is an Anti-psychotic agent. Fast dissolving drug delivery system offers a solution for those patients facing problem in swallowing of solid dosage forms such as Pills, Tablets & Capsules etc. Pure Haloperidol Drug has less water solubility which is improved by using Beta-cyclodextrin complexation which was proved by phase solubility study. The Rapidly dissolving strips were prepared by solvent casting technique by using HPMC 5cps, Sodium CMC and PVA as the film forming polymers. The prepared strips were evaluated for the thickness, folding endurance study, surface pH, drug content and in-vitro disintegration and in-vitro dissolution studies. All the formulations fulfilled criteria for evaluating parameters. Drug content of formulations was found to be 89% to 98 %, disintegration time in the range of 17-29s, in vitro dissolution studies showed 76.86% to 98.53%. Hence it was concluded from the results obtained that, the Rapidly dissolving oral strips of Haloperidol can be successfully developed in order to enhance the dissolution rate, thereby better patient compliance and effective therapy.

 Abstract

It is generally agreed that a smart city's traffic management system is one of its most important components. Congestion on the roadways is a common occurrence in metropolitan areas because of the fast increase in population and urban mobility that has occurred there. A smart traffic management system that makes use of the Internet of Things (IoT) is presented in this article as a means of addressing a variety of challenges related to the administration of traffic on roadways and assisting authorities in the execution of effective planning. The flow of traffic on roadways is optimized by employing a hybrid strategy, which is a blend of centralized and decentralized methods, and an algorithm is developed to effectively handle the many different types of traffic circumstances. In order to accomplish this objective, the system first maintains traffic lights after receiving information about the volume of traffic from a) cameras and b) sensors. In order to reduce the likelihood of future traffic congestion, another algorithm based on artificial intelligence is being utilized to make predictions about traffic density. During a traffic jam, RFIDs are also utilized to provide priority to emergency vehicles like ambulances and fire trucks so that they may get through the congestion more quickly. Smoke sensors are also a component of this system, and their purpose is to identify the presence of smoke in the event of a roadside blaze. In order to prove that the system for managing traffic that has been described is successful, a prototype will be constructed. This prototype will not only improve the flow of traffic but will also connect adjacent rescue departments with a centralized server. In addition to this, it gleans helpful information and displays it in graphical representations, which might be of use to the authorities in the process of future road planning.

 Abstract

Conventional street monitoring systems for traffic analysis have the disadvantage of having a limited life span, high energy consumption, and data redundancy, resulting in a lack of durability and a high cost of ownership, respectively. In order to improve the resilience and performance of the road-embedded set of interventions, an asphalt vibration monitoring framework based on the Internet of Things is being developed and tested (IoT). The paper proposes an architecture that integrates the internet of things with agent technology into a single platform, where the agent technology is in charge of ensuring successful communication and interfaces among an enormous number of heterogeneous, highly appropriated, and decentralized gadgets within the IoT. Using active radio-frequency identification (RFID), remote sensor technologies, object Adhoc systems administration, and Internet-based data systems, the architecture enables tagged traffic items to be addressed, tracked down, and queried within an organization.

 Abstract

Ayurvedic system of medicine is considered the oldest system of the world. The Vedic and post Vedic period saw the rapid development of Ayurveda supported by the efforts of Charaka, Susrutra and Vagbhata etc Ayurveda is believed to be the oldest medical science. It is more clearly the science of the Human development based on tridosha .Tridoshas are the three humors or impact of the body, which bring health when in balance, and produce diseases when out of balance. In this study we will describe the basic Ayurveda of Trisha and how to balance it in our body .human body is a part of this universe, whatever is available in the universe, those are also present in the human body. Ayurveda is a life science. It has many own principles, among them Panchamahabhut principle is base for Ayurveda, and it is accepted worldwide. It is seen that there is a powerful similarity between the Panchamahabhut and components of the earth. Like Panchamahabhut earth also contains five components. Its history can be traced to 5000 BC. Medicinal plants based traditional systems of medicines are playing important role in providing health care to large section of population, especially in developing countries. Interest in them and usage of herbal products produced based on them is increasing in developed countries also. To obtain perfect benefit and to understand the way these systems function, it is necessary to have minimum basic level information on their different aspects. Indian Systems of Medicine are some of the well known global traditional systems of medicine. In introduction, basic information on Siddha and Unani systems has also been provided.
