One of the earliest instrumental techniques for analysis is UV-VIS spectroscopy. Many different types of materials can be characterized using UV-Visible spectroscopy. The UV-Vis delivers details based on the degree of absorption or transmittance of a varied wavelength of beam light and the various responses of samples. Radiant energy absorption by materials can be quantitatively described using the general law known as Beer's law. The UV-VIS spectrometer is simple to use and handle. Both qualitative and quantitative analyses can make use of it. The metal and metal oxide nanoparticles are typically characterized using wavelengths between 200 and 700 nm. The intricate mechanism of complexation between templates, monomer, and cross-linker during polymerization can also be better understood with the aid of the UV/Vis spectrum. It is quick, simple, and affordable characterization method. The composition and structure of the materials can be examined using the spectrum. These conclusions have uses in academia, business, medical labs, and chemical examination of environmental samples.

Nano liquid chromatography is a kind of microfluidic system used to resolve different pharmaceutical, clinical, biomedical, chiral, metabolic, protein, peptides and enantiomeric compound. It is used to detect compound in nanogram level by using nano liter of solvents hence ensuring low consumption of solvent. Miniaturized separation techniques have emerged as ecofriendly alternatives to available separation methods. Nano-liquid chromatography (nano-LC), microchip devices and nano-capillary electrophoresis are miniaturized techniques that minimize reagent utilization and waste generation. Moreover, high cost of equipment may be some limitation although nano liquid chromatography is a newer technology ensures opening of new bridge to newer application for industry and laboratories. This article reviews the instrumentation used for nano-flow LC, the types of columns employed, and techniques for multidimensionality of separations, which might be key to the future state of the technique to the high-throughput needs of modern bioanalysis. Some theoretical aspects are explained to better explain both the potential and the principal limitations of nano-LC. An update of the current applications where nano-LC is widely used, such as proteomics and metabolomics, is discussed. Recent pharmaceutical and biomedical applications of this separation methods are also presented to signify the high-quality satisfactory performance for complex matrices, especially for proteomic analysis, that is achieve with nano-LC.

An environmentally benign cost effective synthesis is reported for green synthesis of Ag-Cu bimetallic nanoparticles by using Andrographis Paniculata leaf extract. The phyto molecules present in the extract are acting as reducing agents, stabilizing and capping agents for the biosynthesized nanoparticles. The characterization studies are done by UV-Visible, FTIR, SEM, XRD, EDX and HRTEM techniques. These nanoparticles are further applied as photo catalysts for degradation of Malachite Green dye by irradiation under sunlight. The optimum conditions obtained from these research findings in the degradation of MG dye by using bimetallic Ag-Cu nanoparticles synthesized from Andrographis Paniculata leaf extract are pH 9, 10 mg weight of catalyst, 10 ppm of dye concentration and 150 minutes contact time for obtaining % photo degradation is 80.5.

Abstract Shock is described as a condition in which progressive failure of the body functions is observed; resulting from surgical operations, trauma, wounds, intoxication or infections. Most of the time this condition is more or less rapidly leads towards death. It is a patho-physiological state in which there is a significant systemic reduction in tissue perfusion resulting in decreased tissue oxygen delivery. Which in due course leads to an irreversible cell and tissue death and ultimately results in end-organ damage, multi-organ failure and death. Causes of shock may vary from hypovolemia to spinal cord injury. Whatsoever the cause it ultimately end up in the circulatory failure causing death. Since ancient time Aacharya Sushruta; popularly known as the father of surgery was very well aware of in human being. (Aacharya Sushruta: the father of surgery has written in depth about different factors responsible for death.) He has not only described importance of blood but also mentioned the measures to arrest bleeding. It shows that he was very well aware about the fact that severe haemorrhage may lead to death by hypovolemia. Also while describing complications of traumatic wounds Aacharya Sushruta has mentioned the signs and symptoms of shock. This ultimately proves his expertise in clinical knowledge. As Sushruta has dedicated most of his compendium to surgical part of treatment, he has mentioned certain vital spots in the body which must be protected while performing any surgical or para surgical procedure. Moreover, he has also written a full text on vital spots which must be protected from any kind of injury. Such spots are termed as Marma. All vital spots do not always cause death when injured. Some may cause deformity or severe pain. When we consider death by shock we must emphasize only on the Marma or fatal spots which cause death when gets injured. This article is written to elaborate the anatomical and physiological aspects of shock especially due to injury to certain fatal spots causing death.

Marburg virus disease is a highly virulent disease that causes haemorrhagic fever, with a fatality ratio of up to 88%. It is in the same family as the virus that causes Ebola virus disease. Human infection with Marburg virus disease initially results from prolonged exposure to mines or caves inhabited by Rousettus bat colonies. Once an individual is infected with the virus, Marburg can spread through human-to-human transmission via direct contact (through broken skin or mucous membranes) with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected people, and with surfaces and materials (e.g. bedding, clothing) contaminated with these fluids.
