Chromatography is described as a group of methods used to separate components in a mixture. There are two phases to this technique: stationary and mobile phases. The difference in the partition coefficients of the two phases serves as the basis for the separation of constituents. The words chroma (color) and graphene are the Greek roots of the word "chromatography" (to write). Chromatography is a relatively common technology that is mostly utilized for analytical purposes. Paper chromatography, Gas chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), Ion exchange Chromatography, and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography are some of the numerous types of chromatographic procedures (HPLC). The HPLC technology, including its theory, varieties, apparatus, and applications, is the major subject of this paper. High-pressure liquid chromatography, sometimes known as HPLC, is a type of liquid chromatography. The preferred approach for testing the peak purity of new chemical entities, keeping track of reaction changes during scale-up or synthesis processes, assessing new formulations, and performing quality control and assurance on finished pharmaceutical products is HPLC. In essence, HPLC is a significantly improved version of column chromatography. Solvent is externally driven through a column at high pressures of up to 400 atm rather than dripping through it while only being affected by gravity. This greatly speeds up the chromatographic procedure. Additionally, it permits the use of column packing material with very fine particle sizes, providing a lot more surface area for interactions between the stationary phase and the molecules passing through it. As a result, it makes it possible to separate the mixture's components better. In high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), the mobile phase is pushed quickly across the column. Because much smaller adsorbent or support particles may now be used, the analysis time is lowered by 1-2 orders of magnitude compared to traditional column chromatography, significantly enhancing column efficiency.

In the present study entitled preparation and formulation of apple butter where carried out in Department of Food Process Technology, SCFT, Ghargaon. The principle ingredients were used apple, sugar, spices (cinnamon and nutmeg powder). The study was under taken to produce stable and organoleptically preferred apple butter with four different concentration of Total Soluble Solid (TSS) i.e. S1 (TSS=50?Brix), S2 (TSS=55?Brix), S3 (TSS=60?Brix), S4 (TSS=65?Brix). Sodium benzoate is used as preservative. The organoleptic properties were judged on basis of colour texture, consistency, taste and over all acceptability by using 9 points hedonic scale. The result shown that sample no 3 containing 60 ?Brix got high score in all parameter and selected as final product. The selected product S3 (60?Brix) have good nutritional values i.e. carbohydrate (95.44), protein (1.80), ash (<0.1) and energy (388.96). The storage potential of butters was observed up to 12 weeks. All samples showed slight change in TSS, colour and acidity. The minimum physiochemical quality attributes were deteriorated due to addition of preservative. The samples were completely free from spoilage due to higher total soluble solid and antimicrobial properties present in apple.

HIV/AIDS has always been one of the most thoroughly global disease. The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a lenti virus that causes HIV infection and AIDS. AIDS is a condition in humans in which progressive failure of the immune system allows life-threatening infections and cancers to thrive. Infection with HIV occurs by the transfer of blood, semen, vaginal fluid, breast milk. Within these bodily fluids, HIV is present as both free virus particles and virus within infected immune cells. HIV infects vital cells in the human immune system such as helper CD4 T cells, macrophages. HIV infection leads to low levels of T cells through a number of mechanisms, including pyroptosis of infected T cells. The symptoms of AIDS are primarily the result of conditions that do not normally develop in individuals with healthy immune systems. Most of these conditions are opportunistic infections caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites that are normally controlled by the elements of the immune system that HIV damages. This Article provides an update on epidemiology, pathogenesis, treatment, and prevention interventions pertinent to HIV.

Intrauterine Growth Restriction is a major problem affecting pregnant women and results in significant perinatal mortality and morbidity. In the present case a 19-year-old Primi gravida who was under regular ante natal check-up was detected with Intrauterine Growth Restriction at 29 weeks of gestation. The abdominal circumference of the foetus was found to be less than 2.3 percentile and there was oligohydramnios on further evaluation. She was given allopathic management initially, but the condition was deteriorating. She was referred for Ayurveda management and was treated with Ayurvedic medicines considering it as a case of Garbhasosha (foetal emaciation). She was administered Shatavari ghrita internally along with dietary advises. She delivered a healthy female baby of weight 2.97kg at term normally . The scope of modern medicine in improving the baby weight is limited in Intrauterine Growth Restriction. In the present case adequate weight gain of the foetus was achieved in a short span of time thereby preventing the need for early delivery and the pregnancy was continued till 39 weeks of gestation. Being a term delivery the need for neonatal intensive care also did not arise. The current approach indicates that Ayurveda is highly effective in intra uterine growth restriction. This case opens the scope for further research in the area of Intrauterine Growth Restriction with Ayurvedic medicines.
