 Abstract

Enhydra fluctuans (Family: Asteraceae) a hydrophytic plant known as marsh herb growing throughout the year and adequately available in north east region of India. This plant is used as folk medicine for its diversified medicinal benefits. Current experimentation was performed to scientifically validate the antiulcer potential of the plant extract by using rat ulcer models (pylorus ligation rat ulcer model and ethanol induced ulcer model).Based upon result of acute toxicity study two doses (low dose 200mg/kg and high dose 400mg/kg) of methanol extracts of aerial part of the plant were selected for evaluation. The route of administration of the extract was oral for 7 days. Various biochemical parameters (total and free acidity, protein, pepsin, carbohydrate) were observed along with microscopic evaluation of rat stomach. The result revealed that with higher dose of methanol extract of Enhydra fluctuans reduction of gastric ulcer can be achieved and was evident in both the rat ulcer model. The outcome of current study holds up the folkloric claim of the plant for treatment in case of peptic ulcer disease hence suggestive of becoming a very potent pharmacological agent against the disease.

 Abstract

By the use of solvent evaporation process and ionic gelation technique, an attempt has been made to produce GRDDS by using Ethyl cellulose and Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose as release retarded materials in this work. Three different concentrations of polymer were used to produce microspheres, as well as blends of both polymers. Infrared Spectroscopy, Differential Scanning Calorimetry, X-ray Diffractometry analysis were used to investigate the drug-polymer compatibility. The polymer and drug were compatible with each other. The microspheres' drug content, percentage yield, particle size analysis, surface morphology, and percent buoyancy were all investigated. The efficiency of entrapment improved as the concentration of ethyl cellulose was enhanced. The effect of polymer concentration on telmisartan release from microspheres in vitro was also investigated. The rate of drug release from the microspheres is drastically reduced when the polymer concentration is increased. It is observed that the microspheres containing both the polymer i.e., Ethyl cellulose and Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose showed the best results.

 Abstract

The present study was conduct to understand the level of perception and satisfaction of consumers towards their shopping online especially in the days of post covid where the consumers were already had greater preference for online shopping than visiting a physical store. During covid times, when the entire world was shut, including the necessities were procured online by the consumers. The concept of digitization has evolved over years and have created a greater influence changing the attitudes of the consumers during their purchases. So, this study tries to find out the level of satisfaction and the perception that exists among 85 consumers for online shopping in the new normal.

 Abstract

According to the WHO, the COVID-19 Pandemic, which began in December 2019, has emerged as a major crisis that has devastated all migrant workers and human life worldwide, including in India. Countless deaths, economic despair, unemployment, job losses, and lockdowns left migrant Labour in perpetual uncertainty. This COVID-19 Pandemic has affected all migrant Labour in terms of livelihood and survival. This COVID-19 Pandemic has brought an extreme crisis not only in the economy but in the lives of all people. This study seeks to provide a timely analysis of migrant Labour in the labour market, focusing on identifying the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown and its aftermath. Highlight the Plight of migrant Labour in Uttar Dinajpur and their financial status after returning home. It also describes how migrant workers from other states lost their jobs and returned home and also the employment status of migrants.

 Abstract

Nowadays, the demand for skin care products which can give instant beauty effect is increasing rapidly. This has urged some components to take shortcut by incorporating hazardous chemicals into skincare products, consequently caused adverse skin effect over time. Instead incorporation of face serum into daily skincare routine can give noticeable difference. Ingredients used in our serum included salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. Salicylic acid works best for blackheads and whiteheads. According to American Academy of Pediatrics, benzoyl peroxide is most effective acne fighting ingredient available without prescription (OTC). They both are also considered safe to use during pregnancy. Niacinamide used to act as antibacterial action and boost collagen production. Cosmetic serum are the products based on oil by water. The serum has property of rapid absorption ability to penetrate into deeper layer of skin. It is non greasy and intensive formula with high concentration of active substances. Based on this formula the aim of this work was to formulate fairness, antiacne, antiwrinkle use.
