 Abstract

Anxiety is a feeling of fear, dread, and uneasiness. It might cause sweat, feel restless and tense, and have a rapid heartbeat. It can be a normal reaction to stress. one might feel anxious when faced with a difficult problem at work, before taking a test, or before making an important decision.

 Abstract

India is the first country in the world, which introduced mandatory CSR requirements. The CSR activities have gained further importance in the wake of new listing guidelines issued by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and on the introduction of Companies Act 2013. Commercial banks in India have taken up CSR activities seriously as the Reserve Bank of India has advised all the commercial banks operating in India to set aside at least one per cent of their profits for CSR activities. The concept of corporate social responsibility is not new in the banking sector, but nowadays, it becomes highly newsworthy. The present study is based on both primary and secondary data. The main objective of this research article is to make a study on the CSR activities carried out by Axis Bank. The study further analysed the awareness level and perception of employees on CSR initiatives by Axis Bank. The study concluded that there is little growth in CSR spending; it is disheartening to observe that Axis Bank is not taking serious efforts to spend the whole amount set apart for CSR activities each year. It is also observed that the bank focuses on various CSR activities which are decided by the CSR committee of the bank and the employees have no say in CSR activities.

 Abstract

Electric energy consumption is increasing rapidly due to the increased energy demand in the world. The government is compelled to reduce the utilisation of fossil fuels due to global warming and to invest in renewable source of energy. Non-conventional power-generation methods can be utilised to supplement the energy produced from conventional resources. In photovoltaic (PV), the power that one module can produce is not sufficient to meet the requirements of domestic or industries. Most PV arrays use an inverter to convert the DC power into AC that can power the motors, loads, lights etc. Due to this constrains for PV applications a Switched Inductor Based Three-Switch Single-Phase Inverter is proposed. The proposed inverter eliminates leakage current in PV systems by providing a common ground between the input and output terminals. A comparison of proposed inverter with similar inverters are done. Addition of switched inductor concept boosted the voltage gain to 5.9 for the proposed inverter. The performance study is carried out with MATLAB R2020b software and the result is analysed. For a 26V input DC voltage, an output AC voltage of 110V, 50Hz is obtained. A 9W prototype of proposed inverter is implemented using TMS320F28027F controller and the experimental results prove the performance of the proposed Inverter.

 Abstract

Libraries are service oriented institutions established in societies to provide various information based services. The nature of these services depends on the category of library, the nature of library users, the mission of the institution where the libraries are located and many other factors. Twenty-first century classrooms are SMART boards instead of chalk boards. Students prefer virtual mode over physical mode of reading. The redesigned learning space is loaded with integrated technology that enables students to understand and use technology to achieve a specific goal. ICT has changed the entire landscape of libraries from traditional libraries to Library 2.0. The study highlights government initiatives in higher education to promote technology-based learning, ICT services to their users, tools for remote access to continue the teaching and learning process, and technology-enabled library services. The development of information and communication technologies has affected every aspect of libraries and information centers.

 Abstract

Abstract In the last decade we have witnessed a sea change in the production and presentation of folk songs due to the introduction of digital technologies based on the internet. Be it through YouTube or through app-based communication networks, folk songs are now being perceived by the communities in different parts of India. One of the important features of folk music in its presentation is its rigidity or semi-flexibility which is due to its use of culture-centric rhetoric. Folk media, usually a community-based media, mainly reflects diversified vernacular expression. Now, in the digital era, it has been argued that the new media have the potential of disseminating the traditional form of vernacular culture through folk songs. This research has tried to bring a comparative analysis between the presentation of folk songs through traditional and digital platforms in pre-pandemic, during pandemic and post covid-19 pandemic scenario through content analysis and expert interviews.
