This paper investigates the relationship between participation in team sports and the mental health and well-being of college women, with an emphasis on how team sports can serve as a pathway to resilience. Previous studies have established the importance of physical activity in promoting mental health, but the role of team sports in fostering social support, emotional well- being, and resilience in female college students remains underexplored. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, this paper aims to highlight the positive impacts of team sports participation, focusing on the development of coping skills, emotional regulation, and the enhancement of self-esteem and social connections. The study will use statistical analysis to assess the benefits of team sports in promoting resilience and mental health in college women, providing actionable insights for policymakers and campus wellness programs.
