Abstract
Vidarbha is a historical region of India, famous for its rich culture and political history. Vidarbha region was under the Gond dynasty. Nagpur was the capital of the Gond dynasty of the Gondwana kingdom. The Gondwana kingdom spread across the entire central-eastern India after the defeat in the Third Anglo-Gond War of 1818, Gond influence was limited to Chandrapur and Nagpur divisions, and the kingdom of the Gond kings was later merged with the British Empire in 1861. Vidarbha is a region in the northeastern part of the state of Maharashtra. Vidarbha has two sub-divisions.
