Abstract
Abstract
This study focuses on analyzing the efficiency of invoice processing at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) - Pondicherry Factory. The research evaluates the effectiveness of invoice verification, approval workflow, SAP-based processing, and turnaround time management. Data was collected from 154 employees through structured questionnaires and secondary company records. The findings reveal that approval delays, GRN mismatches, manual errors, and system downtime are the major factors affecting invoice processing efficiency. The study also highlights the importance of automation, vendor compliance, and interdepartmental coordination in improving operational performance.
